I've been looking for a mouthwash that wasn't filled with chemicals that I couldn't pronounce and I came upon this one on one of my searches. I've been using it for about 2 weeks and I'm liking it. It tastes good, it does NOT burn the inside of my mouth, and my breath is fresh after using it. The package states that you shouldn't drink water or anything for about 10 mins after use. I also found that instead of 2 small capfuls, that I only need one to get complete coverage.

Before going to Weleda toothpaste and Periowash, I had just used Colgate toothpaste and the Act brand of mouthwash my dentist had suggested for years. My mouth had been unhappy about this for awhile, with tender gums and bleeding more often than not. After about a week of using Waleda and Periowash, that has all changed for the better. The Periowash tastes great, very fresh, and you can just feel it doing all kinds of good things for your mouth as it gets swished around. I'd highly recommend this to anyone trying to steer clear of alcohol based mouthwash.

Great alternative for a healthy mouth wash

I had done some dental implants and was looking for a mild yet effective mouthwash. Not the one with alcohol and chemicals. This was an ideal solution for my dental surgery. It was not bad tasting and it assists in the recuperating period. But I am so hooked on it that I use it all the time instead of the other brands. Really Helps Sore Gums

I bought this to help ease my bleeding and aching gums and it's really helped. It has a different kind of taste but it isn't bad. Because of the oregano one night I came to bed and my husband asked me if I'd just eaten pizza in the bathroom- haha! It soothes the gums and leaves your breath fresher for longer than just brushing alone. I love this stuff- I only wish it was less expensive or there was some sort of option to buy it in bulk at a discount. It's a small bottle and this isn't eligible for Prime. But between using this and my prescription mouthwash I get about 1 month or 1.5 months from this bottle.

PerioBrite is awesome and contains clove oil.

So this has a use for those of use with gum-line sensitivities and that is not only as a daily mouthwash, but a tonic for the gums - and because of clove oil, it has a gentle proven analgesic effect - so it can help you deal with sensitivities; other than that my recommendations (besides seeing a dentist regularly) would include daily hygiene (brushing, flossing), and one of the many two-part chlorine dioxide mouthwashes as well (there are many to choose from). Supplements can help too such a lipsomal CoQ10 and liposomal Vitamin C.

Awesome Product

Found this first at whole foods and it works great. The taste is natural and acquired after a few uses- I use this morning and night after years of good old Listerine - this stuff is legit Leaves your mouth fresh - reduces gum inflammation or tenderness and teeth sparkling This product along with JASONs ( also on Amazon) are the best natural mouthwashes on the market - not cheap but so worth it

This Stuff Works

My Dental Hygeinist asked me if I had been doing anything new in my oral care this last time I went in for a cleaning. I told her about my using Perio Wash for the last few months. She was quite amazed and said that my plague buildup was almost nonexistent. She wrote down the name and said she is going to recommend it to her patients. This is a great rinse.

I love this mouthwash

I love this mouthwash. No harsh alcohol. I made my mouth look and feel great. Kind of a gross brown color and the taste is a bit odd but you do get use to it.

So much better than anything else I've tried

I've been using this for a few weeks. It's great. Taste is fine. Maybe you have to get used to it. Sort of plant/mint taste to it, but it's refreshing and natural. I bought it for chronic mouth dryness caused my a major surgery. I won't go into gory details. I was using a gel product from another company for overnight, but it didn't last, and I'd wake up a few times during the night to apply again. Tiring! At first I thought this product didn't work that well either, but I'm so used to finding stuff that doesn't work, maybe I wasn't seeing how it does work. Anyway, I'm doing much better and sleeping much longer when I use this right before bed.

try with the toothpaste, (I wrote a review there also). I was very impressed. If your having problems with your gums, definitely give this stuff a go! It has significantly improved mine, and I've tried a lot of different products! This one is a keeper for me! Good luck!
