I read a lot of the reviews on this item where some were saying it was very hard to get on. Well mine went on without a catch, extremely easy and very well made. This is a great cover, well padded and non stick. Compared to some of the items like this one, it is a steal. Will definitely order again when needed.

This was a perfect fit for my tabletop iron

This was a perfect fit for my tabletop iron. It took a little finagling to get it on, but once it was on there it wasn't shifting or moving around at all. I left the old cover on underneath to provide a little extra padding, as this cover wasn't quite as padded as I like, and it worked out perfectly. I don't count that as a flaw since it would probably be plenty of padding for most home use, but I sew professionally and do LOTS of ironing and pressing, so I really like a nice padded ironing board surface to work on.

Thick and durable

This darn thing is just so nice! Who raves over an ironing board cover, really, but this is exactly what I wanted! I never owned a table top ironing board before, and the cotton top that came with mine was adequate for a couple years, but then got stained. I washed it and it just completely lost its ability to grip the board. This one is a really thick cover, nice elastic edge that has plenty of extra fabric to grip the ironing board edge so it doesn't slip off. Seems like a good, durable cover at a great price. In fact, just to make sure, I just ordered a second one, in case I screw up this one in a couple years and can't find a replacement!

Great fit for Household Essentials tabletop board

Wish they just sold this with the ironing board, but it's cheap enough I suppose to buy afterwards. Cushy and fit great. I didn't have any issue getting it around the board. But to be clear...I put it on the HE tabletop ironing board with metal board. So if you're trying to put it on a different brand, you may have the same issues as some others re: the fit. LOVE it, would buy again.

Excellent and highly recommended

A couple of months ago I ripped the cover that came with my mini ironing board that my parents had given me when I went away to college many years ago. The board has 2 inch legs and doesn't look anything like the board in the pic, so wasn't sure if this cover would be compatible with my board. Was a bit wary of buying due to the reviews where people say it takes 2 to put on because it's so tight. I was able to put the cover in place by myself but it takes several minutes of pulling and smoothing. If you see any of the white elastic on the sides, or feel ripples underneath the cover, you haven't pulled it tight enough. (You must run your hand down the length of the board because the pad is so thick, by looking you can't see it's rippled underneath). It took a good 5 minutes of pulling and smoothing, and it fits perfectly. Much thicker than my original cover, good quality, a slightly darker blue than in the pic shown, no pocket but has the little loop on the underside I guess it would have attached to. Since my ironing board is only a couple of inches off the table, wouldn't have made sense to have a pocket anyway. I liked the look of my old cover better (blue and white striped), but this is completely functional, fits perfectly, doesn't slip off and looks like it's going to last the life of the board. The description says "cover and pad" but be aware it's a cover with a built in pad, so this isn't a two piece kind of thing, which I think is better since it's easier to put on that way. This product is great and would buy again if I ever need another one.

Perfect Fit

Fortunately, my board is exactly 12” x 30”. The bungee cord they’re referring to, is the elastic cord sewn into the cover which keeps it secure....it’s not a separate “bungee cord” with the hooked ends.

Wrinkles are gone in less time than with cotton cover

I love this cover. I've had the same mini ironing board for about ten years and the cotton cover just wasn't doing it anymore. The pieces of foam were breaking off due to being ironed over so many times and my clothes were getting the lattice effect. (I iron 5 days a week.) The cover was hard to put on and I was worried that it didn't sit flat, but those issues have been resolved. I only have to put it on once and the cover now sits flat after a few ironings. This also gets wrinkles out of my clothes way faster than my old regular cotton cover. That in itself makes this a great buy. I'm completely happy with this purchase. If I run into any issues later on, I'll update my review.

LOVE this ironing board cover

LOVE this ironing board cover. At first I thought it was too small, but my husband helped me put it on. Yes, it's a tight fit, but that's exactly what you want. (Ever try ironing on a wrinkled surface?) I just set up on the dining room table, plug in my little travel iron, and iron away!

Great ironing board cover for tabletop ironing board

After searching locally for a tabletop ironing board cover and not finding one, I turned to Amazon. I selected this product because of the price. So glad I purchased. It has a nice tight fit and is not flimsy. Don't think I will be needing another one for a very long time. This one is built to last.

If you bought the Household Essentials 12-Inch x 30-Inch tabletop ironing board, you'll need this cover. I kept the original thin cotton cover on and put this silicone over it for added padding. It's perfect.
