Very good cord from what I can tell after only a few days use. This is a heavy duty cord but not stiff like most heavier cords are. Very easy to use and feels top quality. Wish it wasn't black (I have a habit of running power tools like hedge trimmers into my cords, bright colors are easier to notice ;-) although I can say the black cord blends in well with the mulched plant beds, so using this to power my Christmas lights worked out great -it's nearly invisible!

This cord is perfect for my needs. My portable generator is noisy so I moved it 50 ft away. This is about the maximum distance for safety that a cord should run from a generator. The cord is much thicker and better than what I can find locally. It is well able to handle semipermanent use outdoor in wind and rain. This cord is a great balance between cost and durability. I will not hesitate to purchase again for other needs.

These are excellent extension cords that I have left outside year-rounds without incident. They're not the garish yellow or orange of most outdoor extension cords and they're designed to withstand being left outside. I use them to power patio lights, outdoor stereo amplifiers, etc. I haven't tried burying them, and am not sure that would be a good idea, but since they're unobtrusive I haven't tried.

I needed a new extension cord that was the right gauge for my new SunJoe mower. I couldn't believe how expensive extension cords have become since I was younger & you could pick them up for nearly nothing. This was cheaper than even hardware shops & websites had for the same gauge. It is very well made, it isn't too stiff making it easier to handle. It is durable & well constructed where I don't have to worry about it splitting any time soon. I would recommend it if you are looking for this particular type!

Our basement only has two outlets, but my servers needed to be far away. They need all 15 amps, and this delivers. 14 gauge is borderline (I ended up pulling 12 gauge line to add a circuit), but for 50 feet it works. Black isn't best for outdoors, but perfect for my needs inside.

I had a really hard time finding a BLACK extension cord for Halloween in my local Wal-Mart store, Home Depot, Lowe's, K-Mart, Ace, Target and City Mill (a local hardware store). NO ONE had black extension cords. It seems the trend is bright yellow, green or orange for extension cords I was told the reason the cords are no longer is black is because people either trip over them or mow over them but we are not using the extension cord in a field, nor are we using it where people walk. The color black was absolutely necessary for the cord to blend into our haunted graveyard. Not only was this color perfect, the cord was sturdy and did it's job outdoors not only for Halloween but also for Christmas (we live in tropical Hawaii humid weather with no snow). I left it outdoors for three months in a shaded area and it's still pristine despite the heavy humidity and fog on our neighborhood. I highly recommend this product.

I do a lot of automotive work such as repairs and also automotive detailing. This extension is oil resistant so it holds up well to those jobs. It seems sturdy and I have had no issues with it. It also cost a fraction of the price of similar items sold in stores. Clean up of oil, grease, and paint waxes is a breeze.

This power cord is good for outdoor. I used it going to the bug zapper in the backyard. The cord was hung up under the rafters and stretched out ranging from the power outlet to the bug zapper. There is no power loss for the 50 foot cord. The cord is black in color and is easy to stretch out with no kinks or humps.

Bought this as I needed to run a 1500W load about 30 feet from the outlet. This cord has the gauge wire to easily handle the current without significant drop and seems to be doing the job nicely (no noticeable heating of connectors). Good price for the capacity.

This cord is great it is stranded copper wire not aluminum like you see in some cords. My application was not normal for this extension cord. I bought and cut it into pieces as needed for wiring my pumps and motor. After cutting into the cable I was able to see the copper wire and well made insulation like you would normally never see when buying an extension cord. I will be needing a new cord for the garage in a few moths to replace my 20 year old orange cord, I will buy one of these for sure for that.
