Bought this paint pad and watercolors for our grandson's 4th birthday, and he loves it! Within a few minutes of opening this gift, he wanted to paint! We love to encourage his creativity, and he spent about 1 1/2 hours at our kitchen table this first time painting! The paper is thick enough, that the watercolors did not bleed through. So happy about buying this for him! We bought an extra paint pad and paints, so he has these at his home, and at Nana and Papa's house!

Why are people complaining about this paper? It's fabulous for painting (water color or acrylic) and for using for markers or other craft activities. This is no where near normal printer type paper, very thick weight.

I bought this for my daughter's 3rd birthday. She loves watercolors, but uses way too much water. This paper holds up very well to her painting. The pages tear out really easily without ripping while the rest of the book stays together! It's these little things that are much appreciated by this mom (and by my little artist!)!

This has been great paper for us to use as a family and in my elementary art classes. We've used it for water colors, chalk pastels, oil pastels, and India ink. Even the kids that slather on multiple layers of paint and those that use enough water that fish could swim on it do great with this paper. It forgives easily and is sturdy enough to manipulate without breaking the bank. This is a regular order for us!

My six yo loves to paint. This is actually really nice paper for the price. There is no reason to spend a lot of money on paper for a child, and watercolor paper can cost a lot. This paper feels nice and is durable.

Paper is thick and works great with wet paints. Even the smaller child, who is using abundant amount of paint, did not manage to make this paper rip. I am buying the 2nd pad for my daughter!

I really enjoy these paint pads. Usually I purchase them from my local Walmart (they are cheaper there tbh) but I had a gift card and decided to order one via amazon. These are truly great, the paper isn't thin, so paint does not seep through. The pages are easy to tear which makes it great for framing too! My 3 year old loves to paint along with me, and there are plenty of pages of fun to be had. I Would definitely recommend =)

We have bought no less than 6 of these for my 4 year old budding artist. He wants to be able to use paint, markers, and crayons all on the same paper and this paper has held up to all his creations.

140 lb good quality watercolor paper that holds paint and shape well. Now if my talent could only live up to it...

Sturdy paper. Thick. Nice quality. Doesn't wrinkle or bend. Kids love it. Great for all ages. A quality item.
