A great product

What a pleasure to be able to steer the boat from anywhere onboard when underway. Installation was a snap.

You do not need it until you have used it!

This little gadget is well worth the price! From anywhere on the boat you can adjust your course, tack, or circle (if fishing). When the weather is bad I can sit by my companion way, behind the dodger and steer the boat with this little device. Installation was a breeze and uncomplicated. The batteries that came with the device did have a very short lifespan but with some quality batteries the wireless Autopilot lasts a full day +. I used it to go down the Delaware river and was making lots of course corrections so the device was constantly on for 8 hours. It comes with a belt clip or a lanyard. I keep it on the lanyard around my neck while underway. A little velcro on the back of the Autopilot and on my harness keeps it close by at all times and out of the way when I am grinding the winches.
