I've been using them for over a year now and I love it! I do see the difference with and without the pad. When the wipes warmer are without the pad, the wipes get kind yellowish and they get dry easily. With the pad, it keeps the wipes really warm, moist and white. It works great with most of the brands. I initially use pampers wipes but then we shift to the walmart generic brand (is a LOT cheaper) and works great!. Is a great product and I love the fact it keeps bacteria and fungus away

I really wanted to not use these things. I bought the Prince Lionheart Premium Wipe Warmer and it came with a pack of these. Once they got old and I tossed them, I really didn't want to have to buy new ones. I tried using diaper inserts, cloth diapers, wipes, etc. but nothing worked to keep away mildew in the warmer. So, I bought a refill pack and I have to say, these things really work! Ever since I started using these in the bottom of my wipe warmer, I've had no mildew and no weird smell to my wipes. I gotta say, these things definitely do what they're supposed to do!

Each time I refill the warmer with wipes, I take the warmer pillow out and run it under water to re-moisten it. This seems to extend the life of each pillow - it doesn't dry out and brown. If you don't take the time to moisten the pillow, it will get dry and brown. The browning doesn't hurt the wipes, but it potentially could brown the bottom wipes if left for an extended time. We've had our warmer over a year now, and it still works great, along with these ever-fresh pillows. Glad to have it since our lil guy does not like cold wipes! (I don't blame him!)

I replace these like every other month or so depending if we forget to moisten the pillows after a few days. The price on Amazon is comparable to most box stores and sometimes cheaper but these are delivered conveniently to my home so prefer to buy them with Amazon. We love the wipe warmer and these pillows keep my wonderful warmer working great with warm lovely wipes for my son's changes as well as for wiping his face. I can definitely tell that my wipes stay more moistened in his warmer versus in a regular wipe container. I recommend refreshing your pillows often to keep the longevity of your warmer working better.

As far as I can tell, these pillows do what they are supposed. I have the original wipes warmer that I purchased at a yard sale. From what I can tell of the new optional version, the ultimate wipes warmer, it runs hotter than the original so I wonder if that affects some people's reviews of the pillows. I did forget to re-wet the pillow when I first used this (aka: first 2 weeks with a newborn) so the pillow browned a little and turned hard in those spots but I was able to re-wet it and continue to use the same pillow. I re-wet the pillow every time I add new wipes now. I cloth diaper at home so I'm thinking about using cloth wipes in my wipe warmer in which case I don't think I will need the pillows because I will be changing the wipes out daily.

This is a great product with the warmer. It helps to keep the wipes moist and warm. At first I thought it was just a luxury product and I would only get it if I had extra money. But when I brought home my baby and felt how cold the wipes are, you bet it became a necessity. I know I wouldn't want a cold wipe down there after being warm and cozy. And a baby's nervous system is extra sensitive so it must be extra harsh on her. But you have to follow the directions. It says to wet it every week and it would last 3 months but when you have a newborn, and it's your first, it can easily slip your mind. I even wrote it on the calendar to remind myself but how many times did I actually look at the calendar? Not enough apparently. I had let it dry out. It got brown and was beyond saving so I had to change it after a month. So now I made it a habit to just wet it every time I put in a new pack even though it hasn't been a week yet. That way I don't forget to do it and I don't dry out a second one.

Individually wrapped replacements. Work just like the original! Note: I've been adding just a bit of extra water to my wipe warmer - it helps improve the heat distribution. I add this water after rinsing out the 'pillow' in the bottom, each time I refill the warmer with a new package of wipes.

I was in need of a replacement pillow for my lionheart warmer. I already noticed a big difference in the wipes warmth since replacing it this morning about 10 hours ago. I didn’t realize how necessary it was to replace it.

Honestly after a month or two of using these we realized we didn't really need wipe warmers. It was good for our peace of mind as new parents but I think this is one of those products that experienced parents don't even think about anymore. Overall if you are looking for a good brand I would recommend this one.

I have used these for a couple years for my son. As long as you remember it is a flat sponge that needs to stay wet, you should be good. Every time that we refill all of the wipes we take out the sponge and run it under water at the sink. I tend to try to get the slimmie feeling off as best I can. Then get it as full as possible so the water is pouring out of the corner if stood on end. Then before I put the sponge back into the warmer, I place enough water at the bottom of the warmer to get the bottom all wet. Then place the sponge on top. That way it should last until the next refill. 😉
