Sturdy and nice looking

It arrived in only 1 day, so I'm very pleased with the shipping speed (I have Prime). The assembling was very easy. I was done in about 5 minutes. I have carpal tunnel and tennis elbow and still was able to apply the proper pressure to snap the pieces into place. I sat on it to test it and it seems sturdy enough. The storage space looks bigger than I was expecting. It's sitting on the small front porch of my condo and it will probably get some indirect rain/snow when it gets windy. Only time will tell if it can handle the elements well. So far, I'm very happy with it.

Great bench for the price.

This is a great bench for the price. We have ours inside our back door for my husband to sit on and put on his work shoes. It is a great place to store his dirty boots and shoes. The small size fits right into a little nook next to a closet. After many years of really heavy use (plunking down on it at least twice a day) the seat started cracking. I could have ordered just a seat from the Suncrest website but the shipping made it expensive. For $12.00 more I just bought a whole new bench.

Perfect for deliveries!

I purchased this little bench to use by the front door to hold packages when they are delivered. It works great. It is very roomy inside and keeps things dry and out of view of thieves. It looks nice on the porch, just like a small bench. It is larger than a single seat chair but smaller than a two person bench. It works perfectly for what I needed and looks much better than the blue plastic bin I had been using! You have no idea that it opens for storage from the street so I feel like my deliveries are much more secure.

Too perfect.

I like this storage bench for many reasons. One, it looks great. I have it at my front door entry and it blends it perfectly with the stone on my house. It also solved my "shoes in the house" problem. Now my family can sit down, remove their shoes and then store them out of sight...away from the rain and small critters. Because it looks so nice I am considering getting another one to place opposite of the one I have.

Very nice for the price!

I was nicely surprised when I opened this! For the price it is very well made and I put it together in about 10 minutes. It just snaps together. The pieces were clearly marked. The instructions are very simple. I looks very nice on my small back porch where I sit and drink coffee. I want to store rock salt in it for the winter. I now want to find cushions to fit it. It arrived before it was accepted. And was packed very well. I will buy other products from this company to store items outdoors.

Perfect for holding package deliveries

So glad I ordered this, it's just what we needed. After I had a UPS package stolen off our front steps a couple of weeks ago, I was looking for something that would allow us to keep receiving deliveries but obscure them from view of any evildoers driving by looking for things to steal. We've only had this bench out for a few days so far, but it has already been really useful. It was easy to put together, lightweight and sturdy. An excellent size, not too big so it fits on our small porch well, and the inside chamber is plenty big enough for a few small packages or one or two large ones. I put a small sign by my doorbell saying "please place packages in bench" with an arrow pointing to it, and the UPS/Fedex guys used it with no problem. We've already had a couple of snow storms and items stay dry & safe inside the bench. Snow (so far) doesn't fall in when you open the lid. The lid swings open & and closed and latches securely. I'm happy with it so far, and the timing is perfect with all the holiday gift deliveries we have coming in right now.

I am really happy & so is my cat

Believe or not, I am using this as a "dog proof litter box". Using a box cutter, carefully cut a circle at 1 end for my cat's entry & 3 small holes at the other end for air circulation & light. The seat lifts up & I put a high back litter box inside with my cat's current litter. The seat top clicks closed so my nosey beagle can't lift it up. There is only a small amount of litter that my cat tracks outside. I guess if I had ordered the larger patio seat there would have been more room to put a litter box mat. When I was finished, I opened the seat & put my cat through the circle at the end into the litter box. I closed the seat top & my cat immediately got the idea he had to leave through the circle. I am really happy & so is my cat...my beagle is feeling a little left out. :)

Nice small, outdoor bench/storage

I just received this and had it snapped together in about 10 minutes. The instructions were simple and clear, the pieces clearly marked. It works just as described. There might be a few slight gaps but so far no snow or rain inside the storage compartment. It doesn't weight a lot. I did place a container with sand inside in case of a strong wind as it seemed to slide pretty freely on my icy driveway. I live on a hill and didn't want it to end up in my neighbor's yard. (That would have to be a pretty strong wind, mind you, but better safe than sorry.) Anyway, I bought this to have an attractive and waterproof location for package delivery outside the garage door. I don't have a covered porch easily accessible for delivery people. Most of them end up putting stuff in plastic bags. This should be good for the majority of my deliveries (although this box would NOT have fit in it, LOL) It's only been in use a few days of subzero temps with inches of snow. So far so good. If it holds up and works well, I plan to get a larger one for the front door area on the front of the house. I do wish this came in some other colors/color combinations though.

It's very sturdy as a seat once together

I'm not sure if I got a used one or if there is manufacturing defects in it, but once it was together they weren't noticeable and it's functional. What I mean is some of the plastic seemed stretched and warped. It's very sturdy as a seat once together, though. I almost knocked 1 star off because the bottom is corrugated plastic, meaning it won't hold much weight on the inside, but I only intend to store my winter items such as gloves, hats, scarves etc in there so it should be fine for my purposes. It's the perfect size for my entry hall and I love that it's plastic so if it gets wet and dirty from muddy, snowy boots it should be very easy to clean. Really saved me from having to build a custom bench since one in this size that's also sturdy and easy to clean is very hard to find. A great product over all!! I know I'm going to love it. Edit to add (2018) After a year or so of use, the top of the seat cracked. My partner weighs about 260lb and I weigh about 165lb. I had to cut strips of wood and screw them onto it. It seems fine after doing that but of course the lid doesn't stay up now. I still really like it. The wood fix isn't bad.
