Very nice! Using for mixing guitar and others to headphones
I have been trying to find a reasonable sounding headphone solution to playing guitar with my pedals and an aux imput. I have tried several things including blackstar amps with headphone outs and expensive attenuators. The truth is, this is the best solution. I bought this product, a cabinet simulator (ADA), and a Hosa 1/4in audio mono to stereo converter plug that outputs to the headphones and I couldn't be happier. Yes, it's in mono, but it still sounds great and I can adjust the level on the fly. I can connect my guitar and an aux input of my choice, usually a backing track, and play for hours without bothering anyone. It sounds miles better than a vox amplug and is as good or better than the Blackstar that was bigger and way more expensive. No distortion that I can tell! It also seems very well made for a decent price. I doubt I will ever have a problem with it.

Just what I needed
First off, I am no musician or audiophile. I was looking for some way to hook up 2 passive mics to 1 guitar amp for karaoke. Originally, I bought a regular 2 way splitter for $10. It worked ok. But there was a good deal of loss from both mics. It was like each one only had half of its usual power. Then I read online where someone suggested a cheap 2 or 4 channel mixer for just such a problem. I got this and it worked perfectly. Each individual mic can actually have even more power than if only using one plugged directly into the amp. There is definitely a good deal of gain if the controls are turned up past the half way point. What is nice too is that I can keep the backup vocals mic set a little lower than the lead mic. I'm sure this would all work just as well with 3 or 4 mics too (though I have not tried it). I have to say that there is sometimes a little, low hum coming from the amp when this is plugged into it. But it isn't even noticeable when the music is playing. Very pleased.

Great Little Mixer!
I bought the Behringer MicroMIX MX400 to fix an audio level problem at the radio station. We have a program that comes in over a remote link. This program last several hours and we never know what to expect for their levels. They are usually too low to keep the alarm on our automation system ford constantly going off. I put this little mixer on the output of the BRIC-Link box to boost the audio going into the Axia node (audio encoder). So far it has worked great, the board-op can easily adjust the input audio as needed.

Way better than expected.
I needed a portable mixer to blend a keyboard, guitar, and microphone. Portability was an absolute requirement, but not at the expense of sound. This device did it. I was able to quickly and easily mount it to an amplifier using a couple zipties, and from there use a 1' cord to go to the amp itself. Works perfectly for the traveling band. 2 things of note: 1. It "works" unpowered, but cannot change volumes individually in that configuration. If you plug it in then you can adjust volumes however you like. 2. I have no idea what to say about the mono/stereo complaints that some people are experiencing. I'm only using it with a single amp, no left/right channels, so I can't really comment on what it is doing.

Great for guitar pedal board machinations
Let’s say you have your guitar pedals and want to blend an overdrive with a fuzz rather than running them in series, or just put your wah or chorus on a reverb not on your direct sound, or have multiple delays without echoing the echoes. You need the ability to mix right there on the pedalboard before the signal reaches your amp. (You’ll also need Y cables or ABY pedals or some such on the send side.) You could buy a big Radial box or small JHS summing amp, the former is expensive and overbuilt for tinkering at home, and the latter while probably built well and hi-spec, doesn’t have independent volume controls for only two channels. Or you could get this cheap and cheerful Behringer mixer that will let you blend your four TS mono channels into one just fine. Good headroom and not much noise. Chassis is metal but the knobs are plastic, so this isn’t really a live-ready solution, but honestly going crazy with pedals live is asking for trouble. Just use an integrated system live and play with pedals at home. This makes it fun.

Amazing tiny line mixer for instruments!
Works perfectly for sending guitar signals into our band's monitor mix. A lot of reviewers seem disappointed this unit is not stereo, but it is clearly a LINE MIXER, which in pro-audio means line level mono instruments. This unit is NOT intended to be a mixer for your iPod, laptop etc. It is for guitars, bass and keyboards. The construction is a heavy duty metal enclosure and the knobs have firm adjustment. There is a simple LED when the unit is powered on. For the price and size, this unit works amazingly well for a simple mixer. You could even mount it on your pedal board and mix clean/dirty signals into your guitar tone. Much cheaper than say a BOSS line selector. Behringer really outdid themselves on this model. The only improvement I would make is possible having the I/O panel top mounted to allow full access to this unit from one direction (such as for rack mounting it).

Turn your amp into a PA!
This little box works perfectly. I wanted to run a microphone through my amp along with the guitar so I had vocals as well. I did not want to buy a PA system so thought I would try this. It works MUCH better than I would have hoped. I plugged my electric guitar into one of the channels, then my microphone (I needed an adapter that turns a common 3-pin XLR terminal into a 1/4" jack plug so I could plug it into this mixer) into the next channel. Then a normal guitar cable from the mixer into the amp and presto - instant PA system! I could sing and play at the same time and it all sounded fantastic. The reverb from my amp sounded perfect both for the guitar and the vocals - I did not change it at all. Each channel on the mixer has an independent volume control so you can blend the sound level of the vocal to be the perfect match for the guitar volume. The mixer itself is very well made and the results are better than I hoped for. I am extremely pleased and would replace this instantly if it should fail for some reason but it seems high quality and no reason to think it would fail. It's also very small so easy to mount with strong velcro strips to the top or side of your amp so you don't have it sitting on the floor moving around as you move your guitar. Highly recommend this little wonder.

Sounds good, and has been reliable
A friend uses this model for mixing various instruments on stage and likes it. When I need one to mix a few feeds for You Tube videos and also to drive the PC sound card with multiple Ham transceivers I bought one. It sounds good, and has been reliable even when used in the field is damp and dusty environments. (Most will not care but it hasn't been susceptible to high power HF RF.)

Best Home Karaoke Mixer
For the price, you can't beat the value. Been using a line mixer from Radio Shack that I bought for $40 a couple of years ago and finally got tired if the humming noise beween songs. Also, the Radio Shack mixer didn't come with an A/C power supply so I had to steal one from my old cordless phone. I gave this Behringer a try because of all the positive reviews and thought that $25 is worth the try. I am very pleased with how it performed out of the box. It came with an A/C power supply. I had my microphone turned all the way to the max and hardly any noise. Lastly, people complain about not having a power switch, I just plugged it in the back of my receiver which only gets power when its on. Problem solved. I am very happy with my purchase. Looking into purchasing the next step up from Behringer.

it does the job fine.
[I'm adding one more edit to my review: Because Amazon lists both the mono mixer and the headphone splitter versions of this product as drop down selections when purchasing, reviews are all over the place. I'm not sure why this is but these products are total opposites in an audio signal chain. It really is insane, one version mixes down 4 mono signal inputs into 1 mono signal output (creation side) and the other version, I assume because it isn't what I bought, splits 1 stereo signal input into 4 stereo outputs (listening side). So, do you need to mix 4 instruments into one source or do you need to allow 4 people to decide how loud they want their headphones? lol] I bought this to use as a sub-mixer for my Behringer 1202fx mixer because I needed more inputs for all my synthesizers. It works as I expected it to. One of the pots feels a little gritty but it works fine (no noise.) Some reviews are complaining about using it with TRS connectors... well this is a mono mixer you need to use plain mono 1/4-inch TS instrument cables. I do run a Korg Volca FM and a Bastl Microgranny through it but I use 3.5mm-TRS-to-1/4-inch-TS cables to do this (bc while those synths output 3.5mm stereo it is just mono sound on L&R channels so nothing is lost.. as far as I'm concerned). Otherwise most synths output with mono 1/4-inch-TS so if you are willing to mix down multiple mono signals into a single mono 1/4-inch-TS (instrument cable) this is the piece of gear you need. My other use for this box will be to run my 2x Moog Mother-32s and a Moog DFAM into it and output to any guitar amp for an easy on-the-go use (watch your gain staging here though because guitar amps are expecting a tiny-tiny signal from guitar pickups not line-level like this outputs. keep that amp volume low low low). So in short this mixer is perfect for git-er-done mono signal combining. I can't speak to the long term durability of this unit but it has metal housing, it works now and it is cheap as dirt.
