Best ice scraper you will ever own

I broke my old ice scraper and ordered one of these as a replacement based off the reviews. It's literally the best possible design out there. The pole is lightweight and telescopes easily, but is very strong. The plastic is high quality and very well reinforced. The buttons are oversized and easy to use with gloves to change the angle of the sweeper section. The squeegee comes in handy for cleaning windshields. I can easily use this to clear snow off the top of a large van. I have zero regrets with this purchase, and at the price it is definitely worth the money. The only thing I can fault is it is a little longer than I need. I think a compact version of this same design that was about half as long would be a huge success in the compact car market.

SUPER SNOW TOOL! Sturdy, aluminum will never rust, the extension locks/snaps firmly in place. Perfect size bristles for deep snow. With the extension it allows for removal of snow from the car roof, hood, windshield, trunk area without having to stand too close to the vehicle and having snow dump on you. Excellent design, the snow brush I have been using for several years will become a "backup" snow brush. The adjustable angle allows for removal of snow from the side windows using a horizontal motion. While I am not looking forward to snow the HOPKINS 80037 60 inch snow brush will make removing snow much easier and would make a great Holiday gift for anyone that thinks they have everything. I am super pleased with this item.

Amazing product!

Amazing product!!! Just over a month ago we had a snowstorm in NYC in which a lot of snow turned more quickly into ice. I was able to use this handy pivoting snowbroom for multiple forms of use -- sweeping away the snow on my car roof, scraping away ice, and breaking off chunks of ice on my car in ways that didn't scratch or damage it further. It was also able to pivot nicely around handles and the like. It is hands down the best product I've ever used to get rid of snow/ice on my car! Highly recommend.

A durable snow broom

I had a snow broom that I purchased many years ago, and I loved it. It had a long extension for pushing snow off the car and held up well. After many years of use, it finally broke. I wanted to find a replacement just like it. This Hopkins snow broom was just like it. The price was a little high I thought, but I wanted an exact replacement. This broom extends to different interlocking lengths and has both a sturdy squeegee and a brush. I like to use the squeegee to push snow off the car, and I use the brush to push snow off areas such as where the wipers lay. You can use the other end for scraping ice off the windshield. I just really like this design, and the broom is of sturdy construction. I hope to get many years of use with it.

Sturdy and easy to use, even in large gloves

Nicest snow-removing device that I have ever owned. Feels very sturdy and works great. It is also easy to manipulate, even in large gloves. Although the scraper bit is plastic, I actually prefer this, as I have somehow scratched a windshield using the brass scrapers (it was probably dirt on the windshield, as I have a dirt driveway and snow-blow rather than plow, but have never had the issue with a plastic scraper). I expect that it will last at least a few seasons. It has had no issues so far at all and has been used about 10 times this winter to clear various amounts of snow and ice from my vehicle, which is stored outdoors. In my opinion, it is not worth fussing around with cheap ones that bend, don't telescope, or fall apart quickly when you can get something like this for a few dollars more.

For years I owned a similar brush but it was frustrating to use as the brush end wouldn't lock into place and I kept having to push it back. I bought this for my wife's minivan when her brush disappeared. One day after the biggest snow storm of the year I happened to drive by the parking lot where my wife kept her car. I found her minivan with almost a foot of snow piled on it. I thought it would be cool to have her find the snow removed when she got off the train, so I pulled out this brush and set the end at a 90% angle. It clicked into place and stayed that way until I was done. I not only cleaned the windows but the lights, hood AND roof top. All that took just one minute! I couldn't believe how fast it worked! Yes, it is a bit more expensive than the cheap brushes, but it was worthwhile to me. This winter the brush from MY car disappeared (I suspect the kids), and I bought this for my car as well. Makes a great gift too, since most people would not spend the money for a deluxe snow brush.

Nice quality and TALL!!

We received the Hopkins snow remover and ice scraper quickly even though shipment was delayed for some unknown reason. Compared to other snow removers that we've had, this one seems to be much better quality and has two different devices to remove snow (brush and solid). It is very sturdy and has a push connector to pivot the brush, and another to extend the device to over 60". I know its more than 60" because that is my height and it's slightly taller. The extension part, even at 60+", is aluminum (I think) and feels very solid. Given that I have a SUV, this will allow me to reach the top where I've not been able to reach before. It will also allow me to push snow across my vehicle without ever having to pull towards me, which is always the case with shorter snow removers. Unfortunately, we have yet to have any snow so that I can try my new snow remover out. So my evaluation is based solely on visual quality and will be updated if necessary if it ever snows and we actually get to put it to work. Great quality and very useful for someone who is vertically challenged and/or has a large/tall vehicle or even an RV.

Excellent. Well made in every respect!

This is an excellent extendable snow broom and scraper. I just got a chance to use it for the first time this weekend several times on a snowy weekend in Milwaukee. It is very well made, it should last for year. It is easy extend even with gloves on. The lock release button to extend the length is easy to use even with gloves on. When it is locked in place there is a noticeable click. It will not collapse to the weight of the snow which is what many of the other extendable snow brooms do, most of those are twist locking. The length was perfect for clearing the snow off my 2017 Subaru Outback. I was able to reach across the entire roof from one side of the car.

Best snow brush tool I've ever had

I read about this item on a review site. I was tired of wimpy snow tools for my car. Plus I'm not very tall and it was hard to do the roof well. This is sturdy and well-made. Its ability to extend means I can just stand on one side of my car and clean the whole roof and hood. The ice scraper portion worked very well on my car's thick windshield ice from our first real snowstorm of the season. My neighbor borrowed it this morning and asked for the link so he can buy one.

Get that snow off your Car!

Been using it for 2 years now and really like it. Its snowing tonight and will be using it tomorrow morning and smiling while its extended and the snow will not be all over me like the small dinky ones i have had in the past. Good quality item must have for winter folk. Gets all the snow off the roof really easily. You wont be that guy on the parkway with sheets of ice flying off your car hitting my car.
