I got this without much of an expectation. I was very much pleasantly surprised when I got it. Not only was the wooden box light weight and more durable than I need it, it all worked like a charm! I never had a burn on my trims anymore and it cuts the wood awesomely. It even made my $25 Harbor Freight trim router almost not make mistakes... which is saying a lot. One downside is that it is rather hard to remove the bits from the holders in the wooden box... but if you use a pliers or something you'll never hurt yourself.

These Router Bits are a bargin! I was going to rate them 4 stars, because they aren't anywhere near as good as my Freud bits that I have, but I am a beginner woodworker and these are a great starter set of bits to get me used to using my router and give me versatility while being affordable. I have been using this set for about 2 months now and all the bits I've used so far have worked great. I bought the set so I could see which bits I would use most often and replace them one by one with better bits individually.

Balanced well enough, sharp enough, good variety. For crying out loud people, it's a BUDGET set of router bits. If you want something fancy, go pay for it!! If you need them to work every day for ten years, pay for it!!! If you are like me and just want to fiddle around with molding and frames, can't go wrong with these. Shipping was super fast, bits were packed well. If I were to complain, I'd say they fit too snugly in the box and that the part of the box they are mounted it doesn't pivot like my old set did, so it's a PITA to get them out. Other than that, meets expectations.

I have used only a couple bit since I bought the set but booth bits worked well. I wish they were a bit sharper as the bit trimmer did heat up enough to cook the paint off, but I was taking a lot of materiel off in one pass and we are talking about a set of 15 bits I paid for in peanuts

I've had these for a little over two months now, and I'm really happy with their performance for the price. I've used the V-groove bit, roman edge, corner round, chamfer and cove bit with great results and virtually no tear-out, even on thin-layered plywood. I put a lot of use on the V-groove bit, and noticed that it does not do a really sharp V in the bottom of the groove, but has no problems otherwise and was just fine for what I needed. I've been using this set extensively on a couple of projects; one is a Chinese Chess/Go game board, and the other is a Chinese Calligraphy sign. Being able to cut so many intersecting grooves, and complicated characters without any tearout was essential, as you can see in the attached photos. All in all, great set for the price to get started with. Hope to use it for a long time! *Edit* I considered dropping a star because the 1/4" bit broke within a few minutes of use a few months ago. I decided that the set itself is still 5 Stars for the price. I'm still very happy with all of the other bits I have used. If there was a 4.5 star option I would have adjusted to that.

I admit I have been using these bits for a"DIY" projects, I am by no means an expert but I have put these bits to the test. You should be fine, if you are new to routing I strongly recommend watching a few "DIY" "How-to" videos, this will help you to get the most out of your router bits. A little background on routing will help you prevent problems like tearing your work piece by cutting in the wrong direction, and damaging your bits by trying to remove too much material in one pass. Tip if you are a "DIY-er" like me that uses a router occasionally then you are OK with 1/4" shank bits, but for large projects and for frequent use a 1/2" shank router bit is usually recommended. Hope this helped.

Get this if you are a beginner. It is great for practice. Don't expect this product to last long. As the say goes, "you get what you paid for". I like this product. I used all the bits and I don't feel bad if they get broken or gets dull quickly. For me, I think this is not the kind of bits you can keep using for a long period of time. Again, I highly recommend this for the beginner or for small projects.

Very sharp and durable. I used the Roman Ogee bit exclusively and routed a beautiful edge on hard Maple. It looked beautiful!

I am new to routing. But already, having a router has made a lot of my home projects a breeze. The box is simple but nice. Every tip is marked nice. They work well. I haven’t used them extensively yet, but from what I have used, I am very satisfied with the results. I have no regrets about buying this set and I look forward to using it more.

Great for a beginner. I don’t believe these to be tools you’ll be passing on to your children, but I’m just getting into wood working and learning how to use a router. I’ve done quite a bit so far since I purchased these a few months back and they seem to be holding up well. Mostly used on pine. Also the storage box they come in is nice.
