• N/A
  • Professional and multi-purpose direct injection box for stage and studio applications
  • Provides impedance and signal matching for the direct connection of instruments to mixers and amplifiers
  • Ultra-flat frequency response due to renowned BEHRINGER OT-2 transformer
  • Allows direct connection to speaker outputs with up to 3,000 Watts
  • Ground Lift switch eliminates typical ground loop problems

Great but 0.5 stars off because you cant tell when the ground lift is on or off from the unit itself.... like if only the switch was marked more clearly that is all i could ask. But the tone of it is great, its got a slightly thicker sound to it than most DI's. and it's not doing any compression but it certainly tightens up the signal from those decades old synths, I never used to use DI's but i bought it to get a noise free long distance link from a synthesizer with only an unbalanced output. No detail on the high frequencies are affected but if you do an A/B comparison between the plain unbalanced signal and the DI400P into the same mixer, with all the same settings, you'll have noticeably more bass weight on the DI400P. I also tried with a no name passive DI and really could hear no difference in the unbalanced and DI signal. I like what the DI400P does for the tone, so i will be buying several more.

Love this little DI box. It has everything you need: a 1/4" input, a 1/4" through/out, an XLR out, and a Ground/Lift switch. It's very quiet and matches impedance without fuss. Worked on the first try, and it works every time. No added noise. Getting my keyboard into the PA system was as simple as that.

I'm a member of a church with a rather ancient sound system that is quite lacking. The only inputs available in the sanctuary are XLR inputs intended for mics and nothing else. This device has allowed me to plug a laptop into the sound system to play prerecorded music and electric acoustic instruments like a guitar. I have a small portable audio mixer that I have plugged into the church system using this device so I can plug multiple inputs into the mixer which in turn is plugged into a single XLR jack allowing me to balance/control them locally myself rather than having to rely on someone in another room off the side of the church sanctuary who cannot actually hear and see what's happening in the sanctuary. I have, in fact, recommended this device to colleagues in other churches who have purchased it and been very pleased with the results. I would certainly purchase it again.

Bought this DI box for a wedding at our local church. I plugged in a bass guitar, ran it straight to the sound board through the box, and immediately got a window-shaking, clear performance from the bass. No clarity was lost, and there's still a parallel output to send to an amp if needed. Also tried it out on an electric guitar with the same satisfying results. Great product!

Used on my guitars and bass when I record direct into a cheap interface and use plugins for distortions, effects, etc. It made a noticeable difference in the clarity of my recordings and seems durable. Really brought out the bass strings and tone.

Does exactly what it says on the box! I use this for DI-ing bass, DI-ing guitar before going into a cheaper amp when recording folks to reamp later, and use it in reverse to reamp with some... Interesting cable routing on my part. 10/10, would easily recommend this DI box to a friend if they wanted a well built, portable DI without any bells or whistles.

I did a shootout with 5 other DI systems, including ones that contain Cinemag and vintage Jensen transformers. This one holds up with them really well, and for something like 1/10th of the cost. The sonic improvement from using this vs the onboard DI on my interface is totally worth the $20 per channel. Sure you can spend more for that last 2% improvement, but you really don't need to.

These days we're all using our devices in our live show. I was struggling to get enough signal from my Fire 7 tablet which is running a metronome. This DI box was what I needed! I put a 1/4" converter on the 1/8" headphone output, input to the DI box and I can get either an XLR or 1/4" output for my submixer. Perfect!

This is a great little piece of equipment! I have a home recording studio, in which I record everything electronically (I like to avoid annoying my neighbors with my music). This let me record guitar and apply effects through computer processing. If you have an incessant buzzing coming from your instrument, make sure the switch on this device is in the correct position. I spent more time trying to find the source of the buzzing noise than I care to admit.

I'm a professional musician, and I have to be prepared for all sorts of situations and sound systems. This little passive DI goes everywhere with me, and is a part of my basic rig. It is silent in the chain, doesn't require power, and it delivers a full sound to the board. I'm thinking of grabbing a couple more for spares, but this thing is so reliable I don't really need them. If you gig with a guitar, grab one of these!
