Great stuff, but when you send it package it better. This is a joke. And singles shouldn't be cheaper than a case!

Nothing beats this stuff!

This stuff is the bomb for cleaning. The newer formula doesn't dry as quickly as the original and stinks to high heaven, but still does the job well. I use it for more than just brakes; I recently used it on two intake manifold removal and reinstall jobs, water pump R&R, and tranny and rear-end fluid changes, as well.

This is the best stain remover product ever

This is the best stain remover product ever. I've successfully removed stains from clothing that has already been washed and dried & carpeting. The only drawback it has a rather strong oder and probably should try not to inhale the fumes. However it does work very well.

Old Reliable

Have been using CRC Brakleen for over 30 years. I think the formula has changed slightly during that time (more environmentally friendly), but it still works great. High-pressure can ensures that parts not only get the cleaner on them, but get blasted by the pressure to help do the job right. The down side is that it exhausts the contents faster too, so the can goes quickly.

The best chlorinated brake clearner I've ever used.

Best brake cleaner I've ever used. Incredibly powerful and incredibly fast-drying. It is *nasty* to breathe though. If you're not working in the open air, you might want to consider non-chlorinated cleaner (which is still powerful enough for most jobs). Don't ever use this stuff on rubber or painted surfaces: it destroys rubber and pain almost instantly.

Recommended for garage, yard equipment and, of course, brake parts

Well, you know, it's brake parts cleaner. It is the same stuff you get in the Auto shop. You might save ordering here depending on your local prices. I like that I ordered and received mine before I had a chance to get out to the auto store. Cheaper or not, I know I didn't pay more as I buy this alot. You can't go wrong with this brand. I've used it to clean many nasty things. All with the results I need.

Powerful cleaner!

I love this product and have been using it for many years. Purchased this from Amazon recently since during that period Amazon was allowing this to be an "add-on" product and also at a great price. Brakleen brake parts cleaner not only cleans brake parts, but has a lot of other uses like cleaning dirt and grime off engine, getting rid of stains and in host of other surfaces like clothing for example where a powerful cleaner such as this can be used. It does have a strong smell and would advise using it carefully and not breathe in the chemicals or the odor it produces. TIP: This is a very powerful cleaner and not suitable for any surface that is rubber or paint. It will ruin those surfaces permanently. Protect all rubber parts and painted surfaces from this cleaner. Rating it with five stars!

CRC Always Works Great

This stuff stinks, but I'm always outside when working with it. It really cleans the brake calipers, shoes, pads, etc. very well and very fast. I've used other cleaners that were fine, but this stuff seems to work faster and to flash dry to leave behind a truly clean surface. This was on sale so I stocked up because nothing sucks more than having the wheels off your car when you realize you're out of brake cleaner.

If it can't be sold in CA or NJ, you know it's good.

Blasts the oil film right off of new brake rotors! Can't complain about the effectiveness. It's also useful for cleaning up rusty wheel hubs and other components when paired with a wire brush. Beware the smell, as it's quite strong.

I am so glad I learned about this stuff

I am so glad I learned about this stuff. I've used all sorts of "engine degreasers" in the past and they really never did anything. I had some leaks on a BMW 335i that got all over the belts and well everything. I used this to help clean all the oil off of radiator hoses and anywhere else. Works like magic. Also used it to clean intake ports. I will never buy anything else again. My only negative is that the aerosol sometimes has issues. I've had 1/3 of can become useless. I really think they need to create a version that can be sprayed at any angle for getting hard to reach spots in the engine bay.
