DELISH AND GREAT VALUE!

I had used these for ages but can no longer find this larger size at local grocery store. Very good value when buying this larger quantity - clams are not chopped but they are small, which I like. I use these in my fav. simple pasta recipe: saute chopped onion/garlic while pasta cooking in salted water; then add in clam juice from can (set aside clams) to onion mix and simmer for a 1-2 mins; add in white wine and red pepper flakes and cook down to 1/2; add clams and knob of butter. Serve al dente pasta in bowls then pour clam sauce on top with chopped parsley on top (and/or Parmesan). Enjoy!!

Very happy with my Bumble Bee Clams

Really great clams. Every can I have opened have been very fresh, tender & plump. The tell-tal sign of a fresh product. Will gladly continue to purchase. I've read some negative reviews & can't see how that was possible. These are just really as great as buying them in a store. I have absolutely no complaints. I will now continue to purchase from amazon. Highly recommend.

for a quick dinner...

Great to have a can in the cabinet to make Spaghetti with White Clam Sauce for a fast but tasty dinner. While cooking the spaghetti (I like angek hair as it's ready quickly), I put can of clams in microwave dish with some olive oil and lots of garlic powder, salt, and some basil and/or oregano. Heat in micro for a minute or two (covered) but don't overcook. Serves 4 people over spaghetti. For variety I sometimes add cooked spinach or chopped broccoli. Also like to add bit of oyster sauce at times for slightly different flavor.

Clam lovers' delight.

Our local Walmart has stopped stocking these, which is very unfortunate as they are a much better value than Snow's, Chopped, Clams in Clam Juiice, 6.5oz Can (Pack of 6). I am glad that Amazon comes to the rescue.
