My 4 month old is 16 lbs. She touches the ground perfect for gentle bounces. She stays engaged with the activities, but mainly likes the one with lights and chews the butterfly on a rubber string. Being that she is still young, I was concerned about her being supported, but this jumper fits her great. If you have a smaller infant, I'd just wrap a blanket around baby to support her/him. I did this her first time, but quickly found she didn't need it. My husband set this up. I am the handy woman, he is not.... at all. But he did it successfully, so that should say how easy set up is. It's been 2 months, she is just over 20 lbs now, she now swings herself side to side alot. We have washed the center seat 4 times, it comes on and off easily. Just snug enough to keep a strong hold. Moving up to step 2 was a cinch as well. Haven't had to change the batteries yet. I wish there was more lights and sounds on the other activities so as she spins, she keeps focused for more than a minute. I usually give her extra toys to talk to and suck on. Also, one of the hanging toys isn't as tight in its fitting as the other, so I feel like she'll pull it down soon.

I don't write a lot of reviews, but I feel compelled to do so for this jumperoo. It has been worth every bit of the $60 we spent on it. I joke with my husband that I would have gladly paid $500 for it. My daughter is 5.5 months old and we have had it since she was 4 months and she absolutely loves this thing. She loves jumping in it. When she's tired of jumping she plays with the toys. When she tires of that we turn her to play with different toys. Then she jumps some more. Because of this I can finally eat breakfast at a normal pace, fold a load of laundry, or take a mental break for my sanity. It's super light weight too so we often take it out on our porch so she can play while we relax (as pictured). Seriously, buy this jumperoo. You will not regret it.

We have a very squirmy, kicky, active 3 month old. She's been kicking non stop since she was about 2 months old and it's been very hard to keep her entertained :-) she gets bored easily and was tired of her Fisher Price kick gym so we bought the bouncer as the next step. After about 2 days in the jumper she hasn't quite mastered the jumping yet but loves to play with the toys and squirms around enough in the jumper to keep it moving and fun. The item says it is for four months old and up but she has been able to hold her head up for a while so we though we would give it a shot and it is great.

HOW DID WE LIVE BEFORE THIS JUMPEROO!?!?!?! Literally, this thing has saved our lives. My husband and I work from home and we have a very active bouncing baby boy. He is in the 85th percentile for height and weight and has held his head up since birth. Furthermore, he started standing and used us as his trampoline at about 2 months. At that point we realized he needed some sort of activity to release his energy. I read a ton of reviews and spoke with the mom group I am a member of before settling on this purchase. My son LOVES it. We limit the amount of time he spends jumping and alternate tummy time and other non-jumping activities. When we take him out of the Jumperoo he looks longingly at it from across the room! He's 4 months old now and already at the level 2 settings. I don't know what we will do when he outgrows this thing. We are able to work and watch him gleefully jump and explore the toys. Sometimes he cries when we take him out. This has been the best purchase and we are so grateful. I highly recommend for active little boys and girls and for moms and dads who need a break every once in a while ; )

This is the 2nd "jumperoo" I've owned. I bought the "Luv U zoo" model for my eldest child and this Rainforest model for my youngest. I have to say I like this model WAY better! If you're trying to decide between the two because the Luv U zoo is a tad more expensive, go with this one. More expensive isn't always better in this case. This Rainforest model has more toys to it, where as the other model has "toys" that are really just for looks that they can't move or play with. This one has two of the clear balls they can spin, babies love those. There's a spinning wheel, dangly toys, a pop up toy that pops up by pushing a button, a firefly toy they can pull on and chew on. The dangly toys hanging from the posts are adjustable for their height (they aren't on other models) which is a big plus. The best thing about this model is it is foldable! It can fold down in half to be put away in a closet or moved to another room easily. These jumperoo's are wide and if you have a smaller place you'll want to move it out of the way somewhere. This model is perfect for that. Other models (like the Luv U Zoo) are too wide to be moved through a doorway and would need to be taken apart to be stored in a closet. Also if you're wondering whether your baby is ready, my son is 4 months old and can use it on the lowest setting. Our pediatrician said if they're trying to stand up (or can stand up in your lap) then they're ready for one. I highly recommend this!

It worked. 62-year-old grandfather and I started sitting for my grandson when he was four months old. Born early by doctors stupid standard practice to “schedule” the birth. Caught in the canal his poor little head got squished. They said he’d die or be a vegetable. With touch and love he came around but still had a few issues at 4 months. Scared new parents listened to doctors too much. Grandpa says he needs a jumper. His brain needs stimulation to make and repair any nerve damage. He was constipated. 1st day in the jumper, 1st hour and n fact, he had a blow out and kept on jumping. Took me an hour to clean him up, but his constipation was gone. Next he had a tentency to look left - only. After 1 week of jumping in front of the TV TO HIS RIGHT he broke the habit and started seeing a full view in front with of him. He is totally fine now. And they said he’d be a vegetable. Jumping is the thing that made him right.

Jumperoo is a great way to entertain your little one. We bought it when our baby was 4 months old and he is enjoying it a lot. He finally can jump all he wants. The music is pleasant to hear, even after a while, colors are nice and bright, and tray provides variety of activities. There are a couple of "side effects" that first time user should note though. 1. It is better to wear pants and shirt (not just a onesie), because if you have a diaper, a onesie and the Jumperoo seat all in the together, it could be quite rough on baby's gentle rear end. 2. If you notice your little one taking care of business while they are in the Jumperoo take them out ASAP. As they continue to jump the diaper its going to explode everywhere! We had it happen twice so far and both times we had to take an extra bath, just changing diapers won't be enough. We move it between rooms often, and though it is bulky (quite necessarily), the light weight makes is convenient to do so. As other reviews and photos show, placing a pillow underneath is a great way to adjust between the 3 existing height settings. Over all, its still a total must have and a life saver for us, makes both parents and baby happy.

We absolutely love our rainforest jumperoo! My baby loves this jumper and even falls asleep in it from jumping so much :) we regret not getting it sooner we got it when he was around 6mo
