Good
Maybe it's just me... For some reason the smaller size containers of the seasoning seem to have better flavor than the larger size containers. This particular order was ok. It seem to have more of a hot peppery type flavor than the traditional OLD BAY flavor that I'm use to. Still good though.

It's Old Bay. You gotta have it.
How can you lose with Old Bay? I mean, seriously, check out what you'd pay for Old Bay at the local grocery store. If they even have it. The stupid grocery store only has "reduced salt" Old Bay, which I think is dumb. So hey, sorry pal, I'm buying my Old Bay from the internets. Use it on your roasted potatoes, your fried onions, your grilled chicken, your ribs. Don't hold back.

Marylander's rejoice now you can take Old Bay with you.
Perfect for when you need the only piece you ever need. good amount of seasoning in each packet. To be honest if you like Old Bay you should have the jug size sitting on your counter and a can on the table. But, for those time you want to pack OLD Bay with you, these are a great size. I keep a few of these in my go bag never know when you will have to make the uneatable palatable.

I have one happy hubby now that it's ordered and on its way
I bought this for my husband a few months back and when he ran out, I went to reorder it because we couldn't find it in stores anymore. My husband is an addict for this old bay rub. We checked everyday until it was available again for order. I have one happy hubby now that it's ordered and on its way. He puts this stuff on everything and is a huge hit with shrimp, potatoes and crab legs... Florida hit!! Please, don't ever go out of stock again!! My husband's heart can't take it!! Lol thanks for providing such a great product.

Great value
I use this seasoning when making chicken soup in my pressure cooker. I found the regular size containers in the grocery store but getting the larger size online is more cost effective. The price fluctuates on amazon so if you watch it for a little while you can save a dollar or two and get it between 7 and 8 bucks. the quality is the same as when I get it in the grocery store

Great on just about anything!
This is one of my favorite spice mixes now. I used to only use it for seafood, but now i use it on everything! If you like Lawry's Seasoned Salt, this takes flavors up another notch. My favorite new dish to put it in, is when i make biscuits, from scratch, this just adds a whole new dimension of flavor to them. Love this stuff!!!

Excellent price!
I use Old Bay for boiling raw shrimp, and have always purchased it at the grocery store. The largest size they carry is a 6 oz. can for about $5. When I noticed I could get a container 4 times that size for less than 8 bucks, it was a no-brainer!

A staple to any seafood
I use this on all of my fish and seafood. It always comes before anything else. If it isn't seasoned with Old Bay, it isn't seasoned period. Call it an addiction if you'd like but this stuff is amazing! It turns fish from bland to yum in a few sprinkles. I was happy to see they had this large container of it. It surely beats buying the smaller tins of it!

I have had a love affair with Old Bay since Alton Brown recommended it on Good Eats....
It started with putting it on chicken. Then, I put it on marinated pork chops. Then it was steak, all cuts of meat whether it was ribs, whole chickens, fajitas, you name it....Old Bay was in it. I use it for my rubs and after my marinades. It's an excellent versatile seasoning that imparts a bit of southern homestyle cooking to your dishes. It's reddish tinge from paprika brings out a smokiness that you could only get from having a meat smoker. And I'm guessing none of us have one lying around. It's savory without being salty. It has a little twinge of spiciness to it but not the same spiciness you would expect out of a habanero. No, this is a little twinge, just the right amount without being overbearing. Try this seasoning with your next bbq. Guarantee it won't disappoint. It is a little pricey for this giant bottle but honestly it's a good price for what your're getting. You can find Old Bay in supermarkets but per ounce, this is a better buy. My favorite way to use this is after marinating a pork butt in pineapple juice then rubbing it down with Old Bay, salt, and a little bit of black pepper. I leave it to slow cook with a little juice form the marinade for a few hours on low. The combination of flavors from the old bay and pineapple makes for succulent, tender, moist pork meat. For those of you who don't eat pork, try it on a whole chicken with the old bay whipped up with butter. Take the butter mixture and put it underneath the chicken skin right on top of the breasts or if you're using cuts right underneath the skin. The best way to cook is through roasting. The butter will moisten the meat and the old bay will flavor the usually flavorless chicken breasts. Happy cooking!! :) Will buy from again.

THIS!
I will never go back to regular Old Bay for my fish. I don't know what it is about the brown sugar addition, but it really kick starts the taste. Highly recommended for salmon or any type of fish. I haven't tried it with chicken yet, but I have no doubt it'll be tasty.
