We've had no problems with maintaining the temperature we set and it doesn't make enough noise to be noticeable, and we keep it in a large pantry off our family room and office. We've been very pleased and haven't had trouble with bottles of different shapes or sizes.

1 month into ownership and loving the fridge! Bottles fit well. The lock will not stop anyone from really wanting to get into the fridge, but I will just have to tell my (adult) children if they break it, they bought it. There is a hum to the unit, but I don't mind. Pay attention to the details regarding room temp. I live in AZ; when the a/c is on and set for 78 degrees the fridge maintains the temp of 52 degrees, but when windows are open and the inside temps reach 80, the fridge has a hard time maintaining temps under 54 degrees (so far). It is hot now and the a/c is always on.

Have had this wine cooler in operation for the past four months, and my wife and I are pleased with the performance. Fits very nicely in one of our kitchen nooks. Cools the wines more than adequately. Does have a very soft humming sound, but not loud enough to be an annoyance. We only use the blue lights when we are entertaining guests, and everyone has made positive comments about it.

This is a nice wine refrigerator. Has nice lines. proportional door, shelving and bottles are tight, this a good thing, why refrigerate wasted space. The blue temp light looks cool at night. The interior light looks very cool, (only left on with guests staying overnight) lights room on way to bathroom and looks great! Holds steady temp as I have checked it with remote thermometer. Easy assembly, install handle and put shelves in! Unit has slight hum but extremely un noticeable. You must be looking to hear noise for it to be outstanding! I like everything about this unit. And over the years I have has many wine storage refrigerators. Will pick up 3-4 more in near future as I needed to see how one unit would work. ( Have rather large collection). If you are considering a wine cooling unit, this is the one!

Purchased this cooler a month ago. First one arrived with a cracked door - as the entire door is plastic. Sent it back and received a new unit with no issues. It is quite and easy to install - just attach the handle and plug it in. Easy to adjust feet to insure it is level. Measurements were true. Temperature stays at 53 degrees. If you cool larger bottles you will lose some storage. Shelving is easy to slide. Don't expect an expensive looking unit as again it is plastic but is looks great for the price.

The Whynter WC-16s SNO 16 Bottle Wine Cooler is just what we needed. I am new to wine and storage was in issue in Colorado with no A/C in the summer. I have lost many very nice gifts given to me. We are building a bar in our basement and I wanted a compact cooler to store our wine and this one fits the bill perfectly.

After reading the mixed reviews I decided to roll the dice and order this item. I could not find a 16 bottle fridge anywhere close the price. The packaging was excellent, no signs of damage to the box at all (it came from Dallas to San Antonio). The setup takes minutes. The handle does not come pre-attached but was easy to install. You can use it without. I don't currently have a use for the keys, but once I have children I think it will come in handy. I read other reviews about it not being able to store white wine, which is not true, wine needs to be stored around 60F to maintain its life. White wine should be "served" at a lower temp which is differant. I don't think its a big deal stick a bottle of white in the kitchen fridge 30 minutes before I start drinking it. Only had it a week but so far so good, it is very quiet and maintains the temp it is set too. One thing to note when placing the cooler is to make sure you have the proper clearances to maintain airflow (2" on the sides and 4" at the back). I suspect this may have been a problem people with burned out fans/motors have had. This is not a "built-in" unit.

We purchased one of these for a raffle giveaway, and the winner loved it so much that we bought another one for the next year! We get a lot of great feedback from our event attendees about the appearance, size, and features, and the two winners have loved using it! We will definitely re-purchase for our next raffle!

Got 28 bottles you want chilled? Here you go! My apartment can "cook" wine in the summer and so a way to chill my reds is a must (I'll keep my whites either in here too and ice them before opening or I keep them in the regular fridge - no need for a dual-zone for me). This fridge is wonderful! Note that it will take a while to get to temp. I was worried it wasn't working when I first got it because after about 5 or 6 hours the internal temperature almost didn't change at all. No problem! By about 12-16 hours of running it was the correct temp. The only gripe is that Chardonnay bottles (Pinot Noir, Syrah, Chard etc...) tend to only fit if you give them a good shove! Sometimes it feels like I might break the bottle (haven't yet) and sometimes the label can scrape off (that did happen) so be careful. If you have a LOT of those style bottles to store, you might want to try a different fridge but if you have less than 50% those style, then you should be fine. About 40% of my bottles are those thick ones and I'm managing.

I purchased this for my mom as a Christmas gift! It arrived in a huge box and was nicely packaged! We took it out and everything looked fabulous! It has a very nice painted silver finish that has a slight sparkle to it! We had to screw in a couple of screws for the door handle and she was ready to plug in! It glows a beautiful blue and does have a slight hum sound to it but was not overly loud at all! My Mother quickly put all of her wine in and it took no time at all to cool down! She had different sized bottles that all fit well!! We opened the door a few times and of course, would lose a degree or two but go right back into place! This was great for the price, she loves it and she loves her wine!!!!
