First impression is that this net is great. It serves the simple purpose of being able to scoop up all the leaves and debris that falls into my pool. What more is a pool net supposed to do? The net is very deep - unlike the "skimmer" that I made the mistake of buying before which only had a depth of about 1-2" - so it allows me to clean the pool entirely without having to empty the net and without the annoying issue of having the stuff you scooped up come out of the net and back in the pool. There's a lot of reviews here about how this net is plastic, it's cheap, and it's going to break. My take? It's a $15 pool net, so it's not going to be made out of titanium and it won't last you a lifetime. The upside is that there is indeed a 1 year guarantee, so if it breaks, then simply contact the manufacturer and get a new one.

I wish we had ordered this sooner. We have had several nets of this nature over the years and none of them are even close to as easy to use, well-made and as effective at removing leaves and salamanders, dirt and all of the other things that end up in the pool as this one. It literally takes a quarter of the time to use this to clean the pool as it did with any other net we’ve ever had. We used to have so much difficulty getting the net to flip inside out and get all of the material out of it, this is effortless. It is made of a different material than any of the others we’ve had. The design is heavy duty and large and is made perfectly to go along the bottom of the pool and pick things up. We get a lot of salamanders and earthworms in our pool that are alive need to be safely removed. The design of the net creates a current as you move towards these delicate little creatures and it pops them up and into the net safely without the danger of running them over with it. It also just makes removing them go so much faster as it is sometimes difficult to catch salamanders or frogs and this net makes it effortless. We love it!

I’ve been using this in my pool for about a month now and it has proven to be an asset. The construction is strong and the net material has proven sturdy. It’s about the same weight as the others I’ve had. My favorite part is the shape of the frame...which can get under most leaves when pushing against the bottom. Previous catchers I’ve used would just swirl the leaves on the bottom around and I would have to do a second pass. This catcher can get under most of them on a single pass. I would recommend.

This is one of the best pool rakes I have used. It directs the leaves into the bag, the size allows me to get quite a lot of leaves and allows easy emptying .. tap and flip and the leaves are out. I have had more expensive rakes with bgger nets and I am constantly having to touch the net and rearrance it to empty and begin scooping again. Also love the lip is built in.. I have had attached blades that direct leaves/ they did not work. Great bargain.

This is by far the best skimmer I have bought. My pool is 24 ft round 54 inches deep. I have a magnolia tree on side of my house that leaves will land in pool with a wind. This is the only skimmer with the strength times scoop them. The beveled edge acts like a shovel allowing debris to land inside the large catch bag. After a very bad winter (cover blew off pool) we had inches of leaved, small sticks and crap on the bottoms of the pool. This baby cleaned it put in no time. Attached to standard pool skimmer pole. Made from sturdy plastic. It does have some flexability however not down much that it bends with use. Screen that makes basket is strong and well constructed. I would buy again and have recommended this to family and friends

I ordered this deep-bag pool rake because I have a tree that drops some larger leaves in my pool periodically. The leaves combined with normal lawn maintance clipings that blow into the pool seem to clump together in one spot in the deep end and one spot in the shallow end. I thought this product would be a fairly simple way to get the clumps of leaves and grass clipings out of the pool fast without having to run my Polaris pool cleaner. The deep-bag design worked great. I simply snapped the deep-bag pool rake onto my fiberglass extendable pole and pushed the rake toward the clump of debris on the bottom of the pool. The motion of pushing the rake toward the debris pile created a little lift as the water is stirred up and helps to pick the debris over the plastic rim into the deep-bag. It did take a few tries to completely remove the debris and I quickly learned it's best to enpty the bag rather than do continuous sweeps because the debris does have a tendency to float out. Otherwise this is a great product to quickly get rid of unsightly debris from the bottom of your pool quickly rather than using your automatic pool cleaner which can take some time as the debris can be pushed around some before it is completely sucked up by your pool cleaner. I give this product 5 stars because it achieved perfectly what I bought it to do. Be a quick way to clean up a debris pile on the bottom of my pool without using my automatic pool cleaner.

This is the second one I have bought for our home in the Caribbean. The first one is still working and in great shape, I just wanted an extra one in case it happened to disappear. Sometimes my pool skimmers disappear. Anyway, I absolutely love this particular one. It is wider than most and the netting itself is very deep and thicker than most, which makes it easier to skim the small bugs one might find in their pool because they do not go through the netting’s holes. I find I only have to make two trips around our pool to capture all the leaves and such rather than 4 to 5 five times like I did with are old skimmer. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone considering buying one.

Excellent pool bag and skimmer. Works great as rake to get items off the bottom of the pool floor. All pool items on Amazon are much better then what you get at the local store. I have replaced all my pool maintenance items from things on amazon. The prices for these heavy duty items are actually less then the pice of the flimsy ones at the big box store. Amazon also sells a great heavy pool pool that I recommend, JED pool telescopic pole. It is heavy but works great and wont fail after one season. Also the millard vacuum extra wide head for vacuuming the pool.

I go through one of these about every year. They are what they are. Eventually something breaks. This one is still looking good after about 3 or so months of use. I've had several brands from Amazon or form the local pool place. $29 and up from the local pool place, normally around $19 from Amazon as this one was. They all last and perform about the same. So I will continue buying from Amazon.

This really cut down the wear and tear on my pump and cut my cleaning time. Each year, I have a huge pile of leaves in my pool, mainly in the deep end, of course. Last year, I would vacuum for a few minutes, turn off the pump and dump the basket. This year, I used this handy tool and it made a huge difference. I think it is super easy to use. I am definitely not a pool pro, so if I think it is easy, you definitely will. I got a little more of a workout using this than just the vacuum, but I am glad about that. I love it. I actually had fun using it. Isn't that crazy. It is relatively easy to connect. If I see a weak link, it is in the little plastic thingy that secures it on the pole, but those are replaceable. It has a curved edge to protect your pool's liner, if you have one, as I do. I think it is just the coolest little think I have bought for my pool. It holds a LOT of leaves and debris at once, so it can be pretty heavy. I would definitely buy this again, to save the wear and tear on my pump and save a lot of time on my cleaning.
