Powerfull little thing; great battary

I have had this on my Audi B7 A4 Quattro for over a year and has been working wonders. I might be do for a small recharge as i have noticed it doesn't instantly start my car as it did when i first installed. But think that is my fault for leaving the lights on or while charging stuff while the car is off. Although this battery is technically not meant for my car it has been working great. I decided to get this as it is light weight compared to stock.

I have used the red top on multiple vehicle platforms with the same great results for over 20 years. Sports cars, 4WD, monster trucks & the Jeepasourus. They never get the verdigris on the posts and have starting amps second to none. Currently have it installed in a 2012 Genesis GT 380 with the TRACK PKG.

Optima 34R red top

Optima (maybe all brands?) batteries always ship fast so that's a plus. Slowly switching all the cars over to these as they have served the full length of any cars I've possessed so one less thing to worry about. I don't always hook up to a floater even though i should but haven't had issues starting after a couple weeks of sitting. Of course i normally do hook up to a charger/floater. I'll update if this one fails to meet the same standards. New in box with adaptor plate (size 48, 65 and 78) with full charge.

Dependable.

I've had about a dozen or so Optimas over the past years, and all of them have been great, including this one. It does say Made in Mexico, and I've heard that quality suffers, but so far I've been lucky. This fits my 2007 Odyssey perfectly, and comes with the required spacer for the bottom. Drop it in, hook it up, start the van. No problems. My previous one lasted 7 years, and was still going strong but the top was cracking. In the interest of safety and not getting stranded, I just decided to replace it.

Excellent Battery!

I bought this battery to replace an original in my 2005 Smart Car. I was so glad to find a sealed unit, because the battery lives in the passenger compartment under the floor boards and with this battery you don't have to worry about a buildup of hydrogen under your feet! Has great power! My little car doesn't have a massive starter motor, but it is a diesel, so it also has glowplugs to run and this does the battery has more than enough to crank the car up, even on the coldest days! I see by the power rating that this would service many small and medium sized trucks and SUVs, but in a small car it is just the best!

Purchased as a replacement battery for a 2008 Smart ForTwo. Works much better than the original; even brand new, the headlights used to perceptibly dim and brighten as voltage fluctuated in the system, and now it doesn't anymore. Not an exact fit replacement, but the posts are in the right place and I didn't have to make any major modifications to drop it in. Been running it for about 6 months now, still happy.

Install was an absolute breeze and the performance it perfect

Great batteries as i have previously owned them so when the factory one in my truck went out I already knew where to go and what to get. While Optima doesn't technically have a battery specifically for my vehicle, just call them and they can help you figure out which one should fit and not have to go the custom route - have done this on 2 different vehicles. Install was an absolute breeze and the performance it perfect. Highly recommend this battery or company to anyone and everyone.

Top of the line battery for your vehicle!!

For decades now I have been using Interstate Optima Batteries and have loved them. Even though many say that the quality has decreased over the years, especially since operations moved to Mexico, I have still thoroughly enjoyed my Optima batteries and I've had nothing but great experiences with them. I purchased this exact battery (8003-151 34R) for use in my 2010 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Z71 (5.3L V8). It was a perfect replacement and it did not require the modified base adapter (included in mine). The vehicle cranked up instantly without hesitation. The installation overall was very easy and was very uneventful. As far as the warranty issues are concerned, I believe that Amazon CS has improved dramatically, especially with their relationship with Interstate batteries. I would keep the box just in case it has to be returned, as I'm not sure that local branches will service the battery.

This is my third Optima Red Top battery purchase. In theory the design is superior and more resistant to vibration damage. Some reviewers had quality issues. At 6 months I have no complaints and trust these will meet longevity promised by advertising so that the higher price is justified. The smaller footprint and height make installation more difficult than standard size battery. I had to put spacers under battery hold down clamps on the 4runner. It took about 1 hour extra work.

Best battery ever

Wow, I'm 67 years old and have bought many batteries in my life. The Optima is a different animal, in a great way. My vehicle monitors battery use and charging and the norm is, after cranking the car, it took 5 or more miles of driving to replace what was drawn out of the battery reserve. The Optima will fully recharge after about 100 yards, or less than 1/4 mile. I will not be buying anything other than Optima from now on.
