This battery was used to replace the original OEM unit, which was starting to sound weak. The Florida heat just kills vehicle batteries. Battery arrived on time and was extremely well packaged. Installed in my Outback with no fitment issues. Used the supplied plastic spacer for the bottom of the new battery to attain the correct height. Battery fits perfect with the stock mounting bracket.

It is not a stated replacement however there aren't very many options, so I went with this Optima 8025-160 to replace the OEM battery in a 2012 Ford Edge, based on the capacities and dimensions being close enough. CCA slightly higher than OEM & the Optima's overall LxWxH (size) is slightly smaller. Positive and negative poles (spacing & alignment) line up just fine with existing Ford cabling without any modification. I use a rubber strap to clamp the battery in the box as the OEM locking system doesn't work with the slightly smaller dimensions of the Optima. As an aside I've used Optima Yellow tops for years and they've been good, and I'd expect no less from this product. So far so good. Good price. Great packaging. Arrived in perfect condition.

This is my third Optima battery, I mounted two in my wife's HHR one to power up a inverter . this one is for my Ford ranger I had to use one of the adapter pieces to get it bolted down. I will end up having to add a secondary mounting system because I do not trust the plastic tabs on the adapter to hold the battery in place if I was to wreck my truck. The position of the post is closer to the center of the battery than a normal ford ranger battery which tugs on the battery cables some. Yet I purchased the truck used and the cable ends have been replaced which I am sure made the cable just a little shorter. This is not a design flaw caused by the battery but a problem caused by modifying the original cables if you do not have much slack becaus eof new cable ends you may want to order new battery cables also.. .

Got this over 2 months ago for my 2015 Subaru Legacy it’s fits just fine in the battery slot with the insulation I did have to use one of the spacer it came with since this battery is a bit smaller than the original, Battery has higher cold cranking amps, only time will tell how good it really is my original battery was still working but I did notice it was getting weaker in the cold weather and it did die one day after a few hrs of the interior light being on, not suppose so that after only a few hours, so I change it before it gave out when I really needed it. I will update if something bad happens after a few more months. I see the price did go up like 60 plus dollars, ouch.

I installed this in a Jeep 02 Liberty that is all electric, (windows, seats, door locks well everything is electric no manual adjustment. I had this battery for quite awhile and it has performed beautifully. The interior lights were left on all night in winter and the vehicle started up with no problem. The cost was a lot cheaper than buying it at local car part store. It is worth every penny and its performance is great. Recommend this type battery to anyone who has a high demand on there battery.

Installed in a 1994 Toyota Tercel. Fit perfectly, tested as 100% on a dedicated car battery tester, and works as expected. I appreciate the convenient built-in carrying handle. I've installed three Optima batteries in various family cars over the past year. I've had no issues with them along the way even in one vehicle that is only infrequently used, and then only over short distances.

I Just Replaced The Optima Battery In My 2009 Impala. It Was Working Good. But After 6 1/2 Years Of Use Figured Why Take A Chance Going Into Winter. I Replaced It With Another Optima, Which Should Last Another 6 Years Or More. The Cost Per Month For The One Removed Worked Out To $2.50 Per Month.

This battery was installed in a Town and country with electric sliding doors and all that electrical load, used almost daily. The COVID-19 had us pinned down for a few weeks and the battery didn't want to wake up after 4 years. I paid $150, making this a cheap battery. Stock battery lasted 6 years. I'll get another Optima if I can find the same price.

Best batteries ever, had this one stored for over a tear when I first thought my truck battery was dying, when it finally did, this thing started the truck no problem, no charge, and still running strong after installation in sub-zero weather over one month ago. The one in my son's car, which is always parked outdoors, is around seven years old and still cranks easy even in the dead of winter!

Bought it for my dune buggy. I was a little concerned since the bottom design had changed from the first battery, but it fit the battery box snuggly. It is my first optima battery.
