Beautiful rose/pink color
The color is so pretty and versatile for any dessert. I love the dropper bottle because it makes it easier to measure how much coloring you're using. It's especially good for making anything ombre because you can control how much gel goes in each time. I used this to make all the fondant for the cake in the picture. You can see the range of color from very light to medium. You can even make it a darker rose color than what I tried.

Less is not always more
I really like the color but it can be difficult to squeeze the gel out without overdoing it. I recommend taking a small amount of your icing and adding the dye to that portion, mix it thoroughly and then add it to the rest of your icing. Also I knew it was a small bottle but for how much it takes to get the true color, $5 is way overpriced. Next time I need to order this particular brand of dye I will go directly to their website where it is half this price, just takes a little longer on the shipping.

Truly turns things black
It turned the white vanilla frosting a tire black. AWESOME! Took quite a bit to do it, but so much better than having a weird dark purple! See the cake edging in my picture. People's tongues became black though so be warned!

EXCELLENT COLORING
Used this to color the frosting on my Christmas cookies. Did a great job. Didn’t need a lot, just a couple drops. Very happy. I had an old bottle of the same stuff in my cabinet and it didn’t have an expiration date on it. I called the company. They were very helpful. I was told that they began putting expiration dates on their bottles in 2015. If there’s no date on your bottle, it’s older than 2015. Also, I was told that every bottle has a number stamped on the cap. The first three numbers correspond to the exact calendar day the bottle was made. The fourth number is the last digit of the year it was made in. For example: 1267C. The bottle was made on the 126th day of 2017. If there’s no expiration date on it, the bottle was made on the 126th day of 2007. The letter at the end is for internal use. So again, expiration dates appeared after 2015. If the number on the cap reads 2109C the bottle was made on the 210th day of 2009. Bottles are usually good for about 5 years but then get runny and loose their strength. They can still be used. These are great food colors. Easy to use, strong, deep colors. No taste.

Perfect for royal icing
Perfect for making royal icing but needed a lot of product to turn it a true black. Unfortunately like all black coloring it turns mouths black :( happy Halloween 😭😂😭 but it doesn’t have any after taste 👍🏽

Five Stars
That's just 1 small squirt of the royal blue color into cream cheese frosting.

fantastic stuff. it's so strong.
I'm making prop colas, i tried using regular soda and they exploded everywhere. well this stuff is great, the smallest drop is enough to dye 8oz of water to a strong black. I'm sure that it would dye a whole lot more water, but i haven't tested that yet. there's no brownish tint like in regular cola, but i mean it's black dye, it's not supposed to. as far as cola color goes, it's just slightly darker, but it's indistinguishable unless you hold it up to the light. it's a pretty niche review, but this is some powerful stuff.

REALLY intense color. Start with just a few drops. I wanted soft pink but it came out baby pink.

THE BEST SO FAR...
VIVID color and a little goes a LONG way! I used this to color the homemade marshmallow fondant for my first Redskins themed pregnant cake (tip: color the marshmallows while they are still warm and before adding confectioner's sugar instead of kneading into plain white fondant). Will definitely be using again!!! Much better than Wilton...

Mauve is almost dusty rose
This product is exactly as advertised. It arrived quickly, and properly packaged. I expected it to be a little larger, but that was my mistake. I expected it the mauve to be a little darker. Again, that was my mistake. It’s almost a dusty rose kind of mauve. I used it for a bridal shower. It worked wonderfully for the mirengues, and the mirror glaze. They matched perfectly! The bride absolutely loved the color. I would recommend it, and will buy it again when I run out.
