Very flexible...

Bought this to "secure" our generator to the garage wall. I get that a cable cutter will go through this in a flash but all I needed was something to make this a deterrent to make them want to steal my neighbor's generator before taking mine. This fits the bill. I didn't need to go to DEFCON 5 to secure my generator but this certainly "looks" impressive. It's a balance. If they want it--they will take it. But this certainly looks impressive and it's easy to coil up and store on top of the generator. I'd give it two thumbs up....

Good security cable

I needed a light duty security cable to lock up some items stored in my garage. It needed to be light weight and flexible (to go around sharp bends, yet strong enough to secure my items). This cable fit the bill, it was flexible, strong (braided steel cables), had a protective plastic coating over the entire cable and the cable diameter (10 mm) was small enough to allow my lock (2 inch shackle) to completely close and lock both ends. It comes in various lengths (I ordered the 15 foot version). I am happy with my purchase and would recommend this to anyone looking for a good security cable.

Strong when stressed

This cable held up extremely well. There was stress on this cable and a lock we were using them to secure a small watercraft. Too much stress during an extremely low tide at our dock. This cable held up great! but the lock which was made by another company actually split open from stress. The lock is garbage but this cable is good as new!

Meets my needs

I am using my Trimax to help secure items in my truck bed while traveling. It's flexible enough to allow me to route it through many items, but it is not able to be bent back on itself if you want to make a tight loop. I feel confident that my items are well secured from opportunist who might try and snatch and grab from my truck, but I do see how a cable cutter would cut right through this cable. If I were securing items longterm or in an area that was not protected I'd probably use a very heavy chain rather than a cable. The Trimax is working perfectly for my needs and has been holding up very well so far.

Although the bikes would have been fine unlocked since we were in a very nice campsite

I wanted a cable that would be long enough to lock up 5 bikes at night in our campsite. This cable was the right length at 15 feet. We were able to run this through each bike in a cluster of 5 and secured them all with the The Club UTL810 Utility Lock. Although the bikes would have been fine unlocked since we were in a very nice campsite, having this cable to secure them was price of mind. It seems very strong and more than adequate for our needs.

Perfect length for 8 bikes

Bought this to lock up our whole family of bikes+trailers. Length was perfect for that and lighter+easier than a lock for each bike!

Good for the cost

I bought this to secure a Weber grill. Was plenty long enough to wrap around 4x4 deck Posts and the grill cart still allowing some movement with in a few feet. Cable is thicker than I expected. Who knows if it can be cut or not with out trying but it seems sturdy. The loop ends are finished well. I just wanted something to discourage someone from taking my expensive bbq. I think this and a good lock will add enough difficulty that most theives will move on.

heavy duty 100%

Great heavy duty cable – not small – I don’t think you could cut it with a hand tool side cutter - Of course a 3 foot bolt cutter could - Just trying to keep an opportunistic thief from taking my new grill - I put a stainless eye bolt thru the rim joist of my house - Just used one heavy duty padlock – on the grill I looped the cable on the grill frame and then back through itself

Solid security for the price, and give me some peace of mind.

Like any cable, someone determined enough is going to cut through just about anything. However this give me some peace of mind leaving my kayaks in the car port knowing this cable is on it. Its long enough to fit through all 4 of my kayaks, and seems like a good deterrent.

Top of the line.

Bought this for our garden tractor than is kept Outside. This is the thickest one I could find. It's Well worth getting if you want something that is going To protect important things. I cant imagine this being compromised. Definitely recommend.
