Lets me clean the bottle nipples
What makes this bottle brush stand out to me is the suction-cup stand and the nipple-washing nib on the bottom. The sponge and brush work as well as the dollar store brush we had on hand, but the ability to stand it upright next to the sink to dry out between uses and the textured end for getting formula residue out of the nipple makes this one my go-to bottle brush. Warning to others- this brush did go bald fairly quickly (a couple months?) and cleaning up the bristles was a pain, but I think this was because of the way it's used in our house. My husband bends the brush to an angle in order to scrub and I bend the brush back to use it, so it got bent back and forth multiple times a day. We're replacing it with two- a Mom brush and a Dad brush to see if that improves it's longevity The photos show our sad, naked bristle end (note the way the wires at the bottom have loosened entirely from the bending) and the FANTASTIC nipple washer.

So far so good!
I don’t have much to compare this to (first child) but this brush rocks. I’ll start with the only concern I have, which isn’t even an issue yet. That is how long this brush will be able to stay together and in good shape. The quality is great but I can’t help but wonder how long the sponge will be able to maintain its shape and function with the constant use and stress on the slender neck where the sponge meets the bristles. So far though (about a week), this brush has held up to the abuses bestowed upon it. What I like about the brush: • The suction cup feature is brilliant. I love not having to take up valuable space on the drying rack and not having to lay it down on the counter. It’s also very easy to move around (tip: sprinkle some water on the surface you want to stick it to and it will have a stronger hold). • The nipple cleaner on the tip. I didn’t even know it was there until I started reading the reviews, so that was a cool little bonus. •. Overall design is great and works on the hodgepodge collection of bottle brands we have in the house. The only ones I use anything additional for are the Dr Brown’s long, narrow tubes that go inside the bottle itself. And guess what? That smaller brush size is included in this purchase! In conclusion, I’m very happy with the purchase. I don’t see myself having to try additional models and brands as this one suits my needs perfectly. If I have to replace this one, I’ll likely buy the same exact one again.

You need this brush
All bottle brushes are NOT created equally. This one is better than the others. Go ahead and spend the extra, because it's totally worth it. Here's why... I spent the first couple of months using a less expensive brush. I figured it would be fine. But, I noticed a white haze really starting to build up at the bottom of the bottle. (Breast milk is notorious for being hard to clean!) The bristles on a regular brush can't touch it (especially the corners), no matter how you work it. Sure, the sides of the bottle were getting clean, but not bottom. I sucked it up and got this brush and now because of the sponge on the end, I can get that pesky residue out of the whole bottle. Nice to know it's actually clean before giving it to my baby. As for other reviews about it falling apart, I've had zero problems with it at all. Another plus (and requirement for me) is that it comes with the base so it can stand up. A brush I previously had purchased had a nipple brush with a suction cup that screwed in and served as the base. I didn't like that because it seemed like a great place to cultivate some germs. Ewe. I wish I hadn't wasted my money in the first place on something else. Just buy this one and be done with it.

Better than the rest!
I LOVE our Dr. Brown's bottle brushes because they are so easy to use. The best feature is that the brush comes with its own stand (keeping it up off the counter and sink, unlike the Avent brush) and that the bottom end of the brush is used to clean the nipples--this makes for a quick clean switching from one end of the brush to the other. I have used the Munchkin brush at my parents' house and am confused why they put the nipple brush on the suction base...isn't that part meant to stay suctioned to the sink? The Dr. Brown's design allows you to leave the base where it is and quickly clean all the parts of your bottle (I use them on both Dr. Brown's and Avent bottles) As other reviewers have mentioned, the bristles are a bit flimsy, but I like this as compared to some other brushes (like Munchkin) that are so stiff that they seem to splash soap everywhere when you take the brush out of the bottle. The spongy part at the top of this brush will also wear out over time, like any sponge will. Because of these issues of "wear" I planned (and still do) buy new brushes periodically in order to ensure that they are clean and effective...however, this isn't something that bothers me because I'm someone who gets grossed out by over-used sponges and things. I'd rather buy new brushes periodically with a design that I find useful than be able to use a brush forever and hate how it works...I spend too much time washing bottles for that!

3 for a great price
I received 3 brushes, all packaged in mint condition. Works great! I use them to clean my water bottles - only wish I have is: I wish it was a little longer. Some of my water bottles are deep so it’s hard to brush the bottom. But I understand it was made for baby bottles & not water bottles - so those looking for a baby bottle brush, I’m sure this one will work perfectly for you! It even has a suction cup so you can leave it standing near your sink!

EXCELLENT brush! Wouldn't use any other kind!
We've been though 3 of these in 2 years. They are the best bottle brush ever!! The bristles aren't too rigid and fling soap everywhere, the foam is dense enough that it actually cleans (compared to Munchkin brand brush). Two things to watch out for: the stand may get a bit moldy if left alone for awhile - dip in some bleach from time to time, and the coating of the metal holding the foam may crack and rust if you're really hard on it. Just pay attention and don't let the brush & stand sit in water. Despite those two things, I will definitely buy this brush again and again!

Convenient Bottle Brush
This is my third baby bottle brush, and it looks like it's gonna be my last! I tried 2 other brands; 1 lower end price and another more expensive brush and I had issues with both. I love the sponge and bristle combo, it cleans more thoroughly. Also, as small as it may seem, the fact that the nipple attachment is connected to the bottom of the brush where you don't have to unscrew it, just flip it over to use, makes my life that more convenient. When you wash bottles and sippy cups for both an infant and a toddler, those few seconds of convenience matter. This was my first Dr. Brown's brand purchase and I love it.

Along came Dr. Brown with his handy dandy Bottle Brush
This was a life safer. I had purchased a new glass water bottle and it didn't even fit in the dishwasher, can you imagine the feeling I got when my water bottle didn't fit in the dish washer. But Along came Dr. Brown with his handy dandy Bottle Brush to save the day!! It gets all the way to the bottom of the water bottle and it also has a suction cup stand for it to be stored in near your kitchen sink I think this kind of makes it feel a little cleaner to then being around all the food a dishes. So it worked for my water bottle crisis but it'll definitey help with your baby bottle crisis too.

Greatest deal ever to clean glasses and tight spaces
I have been looking for something like this at Target, Safeway, Wal-Mart, etc and for years I haven't found exactly what I was looking for. Well, thank you Amazon - for the price of a Starbucks coffee, I finally found exactly what I was looking for to clean my vases, large tumblers, coffee pots and water bottles. Given the sponge aspect of this brush, I replace it pretty often (usually after a week) so I don't just wipe my dishes down with bacteria. But for the price, I don't mind frequent replacement.

Dr. Brown's doesn't dissapoint
We use Dr. Brown's bottles and the first brush we bought was the cheaper Munchkin one from Target (Munchkin Sponge Bottle Brush, Blue). The choice was made mainly due to its cheaper cost and with the thought "its just a bottle brush, how much better can a more expensive brush be. Dr. Brown's brush is just charging premium for its brand name". Boy was I wrong ! Dr. Brown's brush is way better hands down. The bristles are softer, more dense and the as a whole looks and feels better constructed. The nipple brush is pretty efficient and small things like not needing to unscrew it from the bottom of the brush ( like Munchkin) makes a lot of difference when you are cleaning bottles twice a day everyday ! All in all, I won't hesitate to buy this brush in the future (though I am guessing the one I bought will last us a long time). Though this is Dr. Brown's brand, this brush is generic enough to be used for any bottles. If using their brand bottles, you still need to use the small slender vent cleaning brush separately though.
