Works for late 60's / 70's Ford F-250 Dana 60 axles
Works well for Dana 60 axles. This is a no-frills socket that will allow you to take off the lock nuts without having to use a chisel and hammer (like the last person did on my pickup). It fit my ratchet and torque wrench just fine, and seemed like a pretty good fit on the lock nuts. If I were to buy one again, I think I'd go with the OTC tool, which I believe is USA made. Other than the country of manufacture, I would estimate them to be essentially equivalent in performance by the looks of the OTC design.

Just what I needed
The socket was just what I needed to service my 1997 Ford Ranger's front wheel bearings. The mechanic woh adjusted them used a hammer and chisel to adjust them and I was able to remove the Lock Nuts and clean the chisel marks up and reinstall them with out any problems.

2 9/16 fits Dana 60 rear
Bought this to disassemble a Dana 60 full float rear. It fit and works great. Fit and finish of the socket is good. Note - this is not for Dana 60 fronts, that is a different socket.

The right tool is essential
I wanted to check and re-lube the front wheel bearings on my motorhome, and I didn't have a 2.5" socket in my tool cabinet (who does?). This one worked beautifully.

Works as advertised
Exactly what I needed to do the axle nuts on my 74 f250 with a dana 60.

Perfect tool
Worked great for the axle nuts on my dana 60 rear end. Way better than using a hammer and chisel
