excellent manifold if you get the newest version
I was wary of buying this air tank manifold due to all of the negative reviews about people getting the cheap plastic knob since that was what was on my air tank that needed to be replaced. However, I ordered mine from Amazon themselves as the seller instead of an independent seller since I guessed that I would get the newest version with the metal handle. With Amazon, stock is always being replenished and is usually fresh. With an independent seller that lists on Amazon, their stock could have been sitting on a shelf for years. My guess was correct as I got the metal handle one and it works perfectly. The part # on the back of the package says: W10056(v3). I assume the v3 stands for 3rd version as the undesirable plastic handle ones are apparently earlier. Copyright date said 2017. PT(Performance Tools) is the only company that I know of after quite a bit of looking that sells the metal handle version of this great little low profile manifold. I suggest asking a seller before ordering if they stock the metal handle version. I also highly suggest getting the high quality Milton 1686 6' Replacement Air Hose. It is the best air tank hose I have ever owned with supple/flexible rubber hose, brass chuck and threaded end, and is also USA made.

Arrived with a METAL knob. That's OUTSTANDING!!
Mine arrived with a metal knob as described on the page. I was worried since some of the reviews said they received plastic knobs which crack and break off. That's exactly why I wanted the better METAL control knob. This is an exact replacement for the valve/manifold on my Tractor Supply air tank. Took about 10 minutes to remove and replace the old one. It has been sitting in the garage for about 6 hours with 125 lbs of pressure and hasn't lost a visible amount of air pressure. Also super, it arrived VERY quickly. ordered on Friday afternoon arrived in Mondays mail. I would order again if necessary, but I don't think I will need to do that for a long time.

Fixed my tank
I have a 7 gallon air tank and the gauge was broken. Instead of tossing it I ordered this gauge and I'm happy to say it's brought new life to the tank. Gauges have a tendency to get beat up with use and eventually quit working or don't show the correct pressure. This gauge was a direct replacement. If your tank is like mine, you will have to remove the entire assembly in order to remove and replace the pressure gauge as there's not enough clearance to turn thread this only the fitting while still attached to the tank. Overall, it was an easy replacement job and my tank is now like new.

1/8
The gauge is flawless, but it will not install in the 1/4" NPT pressure switch as it was advertised, and suggested to be purchased with, unless one has a bushing 1/8"->1/4" NPT The gauge has namely a 1/8" NPT tread, the website mentions that, sort of low in the description, escapes ones attention. Needs to be part of the main line of the Item description. I figure the humanoid who combined this gauge with the Compressor pressure switch on the website did not bring it to the front line...........No harm, but it easily escapes ones attention !

Great quality manifold
Used this for a spare tank I had and can carry it to the car/truck/tractor without the compressor. Just fill it at the compressor and walk over to whatever you're trying to inflate. The valve is trouble free and does not leak when installed properly. I like the metal inlet valve ring instead of the rubber or plastic ones. It is weathering well. I would recommend this manifold

Tank works great
Ordered this 5 gal tank to complement my basic 3 gal compressor setup. Changed out the hose with a T and connectors to run from the compressor, and the other out for my tire fill and small air tools. Used it a few times already and the tank holds air as it should. I may cap off the shreader valve if it strips out like some others have complained about.

Fixed a leaky tank.
When my old Harbor Freight cheapy tank was stolen, I purchased a new "Name Brand" one here on Amazon. Within 6 months it started leaking and wouldn't hold air for 24 hours. It had a valve with a plastic knob that split. Anyway, I popped the valve and guage from the kit on and the thing is better than it was new. FTCF *****

Exact replacement
The gauge that came with the Hadley Air Horns air tank finally lost the war. I had very close space to work with as far as getting a replacement gauge to fit. Plus I wanted a quality product that would last . It was an easy install, looks great. I would recommend this product for anyone that need a quality product that needs to operate in harsh environment

Great Product; Fixed my airtank so that it holds pressure indefinitely
I have a Campbell Hausfeld tank that I bought from Wal-Mart a few years back and I'd mistakenly tried to open the valve on the tank when it was already completely open...and without thinking, i figured it was just stuck so I cranked down on it and before I realized it, i'd damaged it. That old valve was very similar looking to this one, except the red handle had two little ears on it which gave a bit more leverage. So, i ruined the old one; it would not hold pressure at all. I received this one, and the existing pressure gauge and hose fit into it (always with some teflon tape, mind you) and it screwed into the tank (teflon it) wonderfully. Now, no more leaks and my tank stays pressurized indefinitely. Plus, since this manifold does NOT have those little ears on the handle, it doesn't allow me nearly as much leverage to damage it, but still opens and closes easily enough.

Up-cycling is great!
Great for up-cycling a piece of scrap metal into a convenient air flask. A standard 20# LP tank will need an adapter. A common item in the plumbing section of a local h/w store. Some reviewers noted pressure loss from stored tanks. I have left mine idle for weeks with 50 to 125 PSI with no readable leakage.
