These are only made of Cardboard. They are a step above what you would get at a fair. They saved me a lot of money compared to what you would pay for a Jersey holder and since I want a bunch of these I save a little room on the wall because they're not as big as a full Jersey frame. I had to buy a some picture hooks and Cut off the screw and then put tape over it so it did not hurt my jerseys but it is well worth saving me hundreds of dollars easy.

Purchased to store pinned insects and they work perfectly for that; large enough to store 8-10 medium butterflies or 20+ small ones. Replaced the polyester with a thin layer of foam to store beetles (their feet get caught in the fibers) and it's been perfect. Strong enough that you don't have to babysit it and the price is unbeatable. EDIT 8/26/15: Duh, I can attach photos for my fellow bug people! Peep these buggies - again I recommend removing the batting for beetles or Pieridae, Lycaenidae, and Riodinidae butterfly species, as their little legs can get caught. These are older photos so everyone is on the batting, but since then I've done some shuffling and removed some. You can also slide a thin piece of cardboard (or printer paper, so paper towel roll) under your specimens to keep them from catching.

I was looking for shadow box frame for a paw print of my cat. Nothing seems to be the right size and the one frame I found you couldn't really mount the clay paw print. It was just a piece of wood in the back and you could see all the hanging attachments. With the Riker case I was able to adjust the cotton and put a piece of velvet and beautifully displayed my cat's paw print.

I wasn't sure when the description included the word "paper", but it is very strong. The paper finish has a texture and looks nice. The fit is snug, so snug in fact that it creates a vacuum when you open the box. I put a black cloth over the foam for a background and used it to display some spoons. Sorry about the glare in the picture. I wish I could by in bulk them in bulk and get a price break.

It is absolutely perfect for what I needed. I wanted a box that allows me to display my sand dollars without them being exposed. Before this, dusting was scary because of the risk of damage to them. The polly fill provided works excellently for providing a soft yet secure way to hold each piece in the case, including additionally sized items like the shells, crab, and shark tooth. Love this!!! Note: it is firm cardboard, with glass top, and secure clips. It doesn’t have anything to hang on the wall, which I personally didn’t want. However, I would think you could buy a small hanger if that’s what you wanted.

I got these boxes (came with 2) for my husband to put the coins and other small stuff he fines when metal detecting into. I was surprised to see how study the boxes were made. The material inside the box will keep the coins in place so they don’t shift around when moving them. There are two clips you close the box with. You can’t hang the boxes (unless you glued items down) up on the wall but to use to view items they work great. There is clear pleixiglass on the top of the boxes. You can’t put anything wide in the boxes. The boxes are stack on each other right now. We will be ordering more of these boxes and will make a holder for them. I think if you piled a bunch of boxes on top of each other over the years they probably would break down. I do recommend these boxes.

We are so excited to find this case and a great price even without the Prime Day discount. The black velvet insert of 50 compartments each (I've also reviewed) that we also purchased on Amazon, fit perfectly inside this case. The insert comes 2 per order, so we just now ordered more display cases and one more insert. A single slot will hold a total of three 5/8" marbles that makes a very impressive display. These cases are light weight, but if handled with care should last us quite a few years.

These display cases work quite well for me to display my militaria collections. Well made and quite able to handle normal wear and tear. They are NOT meant to have hangers put on the backs and hang on the wall at the cardboard is not made for that type of use. The clamps are tight and strong and hold the lids quite well. The padding packs down and holds the items from sliding around. I recommend them as they suit me to a 'T'.

When you read that the box is made of cardboard, at first you think flimsy, probably poorly made. That's what I thought at first but it was within my price range. I I went ahead and ordered it because it got some good reviews and I'll say that I'm very happy, it's beautifully made and it looks very nice it doesn't look like cardboard and it seems sturdy, I don't think anyone would know that it was cardboard. Anyway I'm very happy with it, I would order it again. I used it to display some small art objects that I make.

Works well to hold my nature keepsakes I enjoy finding. Butterflies, bees, bugs, (I don't kill them, only if I find them deceased), eggshells, wasp nests (small), etc.
