A few tips

I have been waxing for 15 years now and was lucky enough to come across these at Wal-Mart. Unfortunately, it seems as though they have been taken off the shelves in the last year. Thankfully, Amazon comes to the rescue. To use, be sure to smooth downward with the hair. Do not! I repeat do not smooth down and then smooth up as this will cause the wax to stick to you and not pull any hair out. Once you smooth downward then proceed to pull against the grain in a swift motion. The hair will be easily removed. Another tip is to be sure that you are not sweating. Have a towel handy to dry off the area prior to applying the strip. It has been rare that I needed to apply the strip more than once in the same spot. Nad's strips have been the most effective way to remove unwanted body hair for me.

Nasty, I know: WARNING ⚠️

I have always been a hairy lady. I probably haven’t picked up a razor since March (now may). WARNING ⚠️ If you have been shaving for a very long time, do not expect the best results the first time you wax. Any professional can tell you this. ALSO the first time you wax your previously shaved legs it will leave a few short & stubborn ones behind, and you will also be a little sensitive. I recommend exfoliating 24 hours before wax and taking a quick shower a few hours before wax. Area needs to be free of oils!!, lotions, and moisture for best results. Do not take a hot shower for a day or two after. I always wash with lukewarm/cold water and dove soap afterwards, very quick. Then put on the calming oil (coconut&olive oil works for me). Enjoy!

Makes the waxing process easy and fun! (Yes, I said “fun.”)

I’ve been waxing off much of my body hair for the last twenty years, and unfortunately it continues to grow back. Enter these wax strips, which make the process a little more painless (figuratively speaking, maybe not literally). The ease of use with these strips has even gotten my husband into the waxing game. We now enjoy Sunday mornings every 6 weeks or so, when I wax off his neck hair, allowing him to feel confident and neck hair free for weeks to come. Newbies to waxing, be sure to take advantage of the included post-wax calming oil wipes. They will remove any wax excess that may have been left behind in the hair removal process.

These are amazing! I use them mostly to clean up unwanted hair on my face, but they're also great for legs and arms too! I love that you just warm them between your hands and they're ready to go! I buy these over and over!

Wow!

Love these things! I just can't afford (time OR money) getting professionally waxed anymore, but I'm one of those people with really thick hair and no matter what razor I use, there is always stubble and I need to shave daily if I want to keep myself "smooth". Razors are so darn expensive! Also, my skin is quite sensitive and I am prone to razor rash yuck. Anyway, I'm really glad I found these Nad's wax strips. They are great on my wallet and work as good as getting professionally waxed. I've used these on both my legs and bikini area with no problem. Clean-up is barely needed, but easy with the oil cloths included. I also used them on my mom who has extremely fine Asian hair on her legs and it worked just as well as on my own. I'm now getting them monthly for both of us with Subscribe & Save! Pros: * Just as good as professional waxing * Works for thick/course or thin/fine hair * Surprisingly painless * Surprisingly mess-less * Pleasant, mild scent * No rash * VERY easy to use Cons: None

Works well, but if you wanted to do full leg order 3 or 4

The strips work very well. I am not sure what they mean when the review asks about "drying power", so I put 3 there. It is true that the same strip can be used 2-3 times. Also the little oil packets that are included are very useful. First time I used the strips I was like "nah, I don't need them oil thingies" - big mistake! Oil really helps the skin afterwards - do use it ladies (and gentlemen, if you decide to use them)! Again, 1 set of strips is not enough, at least not for my hairy legs LOL. I will definitely order again!

It won’t get all the hair, so be prepared to pluck

The box said to carefully read my enclosed instructions. There were no enclosed instructions so I had read what was posted on this product on Amazon. Instead of warming it between my hands, I set the strip I was going to use on my warmed up heating pad while reading Amazon instructions. I peeled the two strips away from each other and applied one to my right underarm and left the other one warming on the pad. My hair grows in 2 different directions so I had to wax twice (pulling one strip upwards and one strip downwards) (both underarms). It removes lots of the hair, but I had to stick a lighted magnification mirror up in both pits and do some plucking with tweezers. Edit: upgraded to 5 stars just because it did such a great job on my legs. Also, ordered 4 more boxes. Hairdryer did a good job warming the strips, too.

so far these work great!

I tried a few different brands before this one and honestly this brand is great! I found it pretty easy to warm up the strips, I simply rub them to my hands for about 30 seconds and that they peel the part very easily. They're very easy and comfortable to apply and seems to hurt a lot less than some other brands that I've tried. Overall I'm very impressed by this brand so far. I also really like the calming towels that came with test strips, I just wish they had more calming towels in the package.

Works better than other brands I've tried

These are extremely sticky so you have to be careful separating the two parts. Because of the stickiness they really, really grab the hair. They do leave a sticky residue on the skin which is easily taken care of with a little baby oil . I did not find them painful but I have been waxing for many years so maybe I just am used to it. A few numbing pads were included to use before placing the strips on the skin if you are sensitive I loved seeing all that excess hair on the wax strips when I was done.

Yank those hairs!

I don’t know why Amazon wants to mention “drying power”... Has anyone ever waxed something so it would stay dry?… This ripped the hairs out like it was nothing. That’s what you need to know about wax. Depending on where you’re using it you better hold that skin. This product should come with some kind of wax removal juice otherwise your skin stays tacky for a couple days.
