Previously, we would sometimes have cloudy water in our 20x40 ft in-ground pool even with proper Ph and chlorine levels, especially with high temperatures in the heat of the summer. Since using pool perfect + phosfree, our pool water has been crystal clear. We put about 2 of the included measuring caps full of phosfree into both skimmer baskets of our pool (24,000 gallons) each week or two during the summer. I initially felt it was a little on the expensive side, however, each bottle seems to last us about a season and it has proven to be very effective at keeping the pool water clear. Great product, would definitely recommend!!!

This product works fabulous! I've only owned a pool for 5 years now and there has been alot of chemical trial and error. We've had algae issues every year and tried everything to keep it at bay. Our pool is surrounded by trees. We have spent 100's of dollars from pool expert advice after testing our water. It was a constant battle. I saw this item and read the reviews and thought I'd give it a try. Our pool has been crystal clear since using this product along with polysheen for 6 weeks now! Love this stuff!! I'm a forever buyer of this!!

After fighting for a few seasons trying to get everything just right in the pool there always seemed to be algae and I couldn't get it crystal clear. this product drastically changed everything and now I have almost zero issues. Pool is MUCH easier to maintain with this product. This is exactly what I had been searching for. I will certainly be using this for a long time.

This is a great value and it is a fantastic product. I have a 14,000 gallon pool and add a weekly cocktail of two lids of this, one pound of shock and restock a floater with a 3 inch chlorine tablet in it. I have not had algae in my pool for the four seasons that I have been doing this. This product kills the food that algae eats - phosphates and keeps the water clear. Yes, it can be expensive, but have you ever tried to treat algae? It takes your most valuable asset - time - to fix it. Thanks pool perfect + phos free.

First time pool owner and after reading reviews I thought I would give it a try. (resident of South Florida) My chlorine tablets (in my floater) started to dissolved slower so the claims that you will use less chemicals when your pool if free of Phosphates must have validity. I also noticed that the chlorine smell went down after 24 hours. Read the directions add to skimmer (by the gallons of your pool) Mine is 16,000 gallons so I added two cap fulls then run your pump for its normal 4 hours a day( or what ever your pool pump needs for one full cycle of water.) After I noticed a literal sparkle in the water. You chlorine must also be less than 5 ppm to add. After adding I took my water sample to Leslie pools. My pool was perfect. LOVE pool perfect! Since it is winter and we are not swimming I have been adding every other week. In summer I will up it to once a week. Plus this was about $7 cheaper then the pool store with free shipping.

We've owned our Florida pool home for 19 years now, and use to struggle with 1-2 algae blooms per year. Started using PhosFree last summer, combined with Algacide brand algaecide. All our algae problems disappeared, we barely even have to sweep/brush anymore. Forget about the price -- you'll save that much and more, not having to use so much algaecide or chlorine to keep your pool clear. 100% sold on this stuff - it really works!

Great stuff been using it for years. Once you get your pool chemically balanced this will greatly aid chlorine and non-chlorine sanitizers to keep the pool looking sparkling clean and fresh. Very easy to use just add through the skimmer. Phosphates are the bane of every pool owner and this product if used regularly will greatly aid in keeping your pool phasphate free. Once your pool is in chemical balance this product is a must.

I opened my pool this season and got all my numbers where they are supposed to be (chlorine, PH, total alkalinity and salt). I still had a slight haze to the pool that just wouldn't go away. The man at the pool store told me my phosphate level was a little high and recommended trying the Phosfree. We have a lot of tree debris that gets in our pool which contributes to a higher phosphate count. I never just buy a new product when they recommend it. They are always trying to sell you something and it is usually more expensive when you buy it from them. I went home and did some online research. There was a lot of great recommendations for both the Phosfree and the Pool Perfect + Phosfree. I decided to try the latter because I also wanted something that would break down all the oils and lotions worn by swimmers in the pool. I put this in the skimmer as directed. Two days later my pool was crystal clear. So far I am very pleased with the Pool Perfect + Phosfree. It will be interesting to see how the rest of the season goes. Update August 17, 2011-The things I did different this year are: use this product, use Polysheen Blue by Bioguard (both I use weekly maintainance doses) and, I stopped using any algaeside. I have kept my chlorine between 1 and 3 (the higher level only when we are going to have a party). The results have been amazing. Never a cloudy breakout. Water recovers completely from parties in 1-2 days. Water is sparkling crystal clear. The changes I have made this year have made all the difference. Will continue to use both the pool perfect & phosfree and the polysheen blue!

After using this product for six years, I can safely report that it's a big help in keeping algae blooms from occuring. I originally bought it as a stab at getting rid of some black algae stains plaguing a few spots on the vinyl liner. It did not help those. We've had a VERY rainy, often very hot summer. Those are perfect conditions for algae growth, and I haven't been using any more chlorine or algaecide than normal. I have been using three capfuls of this once a week. I haven't seen the first tiny spot of algae try to get a toehold this summer. With experience over 19 years of pool ownership, under these weather conditions I would say that is very unusual, and very pleasant. Since adding this chemical is the only thing I'm doing different than years where I might have had to brush off a few algae spots, I'm going to give it credit. It certainly is no more expensive than using extra algaecide and shock, and those are responsive measures rather than preventative measures. It's better to have the algae not show up in the first place than to have to beat it back when it does. Recommended.

A DREAM COME TRUE!! Wish I had found this in the very beginning!! I cannot believe how SUPER easy it is to maintain a perfect pool with this product!! Just a cap or 2 of this once a week, and a chlorine tab in the skimmer and it's perfect ALL the time! It's crazy! I will forever be using this product!! Easiest pool maintenance EVER and have never been able to keep all the levels perfect, continually, ever time, except with this!
