with me being one of the toughest skeptics of get fixed quick schemes by some manufacturers of automotive products claiming to be the miracle worker for your cars problems I must say I was highly doubtful about this products claims and for quite a while dismissed it as just another hyped snake oil like many products I've seen on the late night infomercials that have over the years gotten its makers in trouble with the federal government and its users alike but I must after much hesitation I chose to use this stuff after becoming frustrated with the foul and embarrassing burning oil smell that entered my 1995 Lexus LS 400 cabin and lifting the hood and seeing little puffs of very light of cigarette style smoke coming from the rear main seal area I knew immediately what the problem could be and that's a scary and expensive head gasket and seal mechanic repair bill that would cost me more than half of what I paid for the vehicle used after getting price quotes from many a honest (questionable) local mechanics Lol !!! And countless hours of internet searching and watching videos on that tube channel and reading (questionable) written reviews I decided to try this product and I must say I'm absolutely elated to the point I just had to write a review of this product which is something I rarely do after pouring this stuff into my 1995 Lexus LS 400's 32 valve V8 engine with a 159,000 miles that previously just had and oil and filter change at Wally World big box stores automotive department and was also told by the oil change guy that I had a slow oil leak around the seals and he recommended a repair soon before it was too late (woooooo) so after running this product for a couple of miles and still seeing that daunting engine check light and burned and embarrassing oil smell with instant gratification expectations I decided to just go home and get ready to either sell the car or get ready shell $$$$ out for an expensive repair job so I decided to go for a joy around town ride one early morning after the car sat for 3 days without being driven and I noticed something after cranking a miracle had taken place no engine check light could it be !!! And another thing no burned oil smell in my passenger cabin holy cow couldn't believe it this stuff really worked but to make sure it was true I let the engine run a few more minutes still no smelly foul oil smell and most no check lamp reappeared boy oh boy was I ever the happy jack and here I am after a 200 mile drive over the weekend still working I highly recommend this product may not work for some depending on severity of the issue but it worked a miracle for my super reliable Lexus

I have a 1997 Pontiac grand prix gtp with 40K miles in mint condition, the only problem was a pesky little oil leak. I started by changing both valve cover gaskets (very common problem on these cars) and that didn't help. I then tried to track down the source of the leak. I checked all around the oil filter area, oil pressure sensor and anywhere else I could see that oil might leak from. Couldn't track it down The oil seemed to be coming from somewhere around the power steering pump area (It definitely wasn't power steering pump fluid) but I couldn't pinpoint it. It wasn't a very bad leak maybe half a quart every oil change (3000 miles), but the problem was every time I parked the car it would leave one drop of oil on my bright asphalt driveway and it was becoming a real eyesore (see my picture). Upon doing some research I came across this product and figured its only 10 bucks what have I got to loose, So I added it in during an oil change. After about 500 miles I noticed there was less and less fresh oil spots on the driveway and after about 1000 miles I stopped seeing them completely. I was shocked because I am a non-believer when it comes to stop leak products (mechanic of 15 years). I then checked under the car and noticed there was a lot less oil wetness around the bottom of the engine then there was before and what was left was probably residual oil leftover from when it did leak. I understand how this product works it rejuvenates and expands shrunken and dried up seals, which in my case makes sense because the seals in my car are nearly 20 years old and have been in a dry hot climate their entire life (las vegas). The negative reviews on here are probably from people that have cracked or ripped seals which the only option is to replace with a new seal, also I don't think this product will work on paper based gaskets only seals and rubber gaskets. In conclusion I am completely satisfied with this product and if you have an oil leak that is too costly or time consuming to repair, give this a shot!

I was very skeptical about using this product but the reviews we're pretty astounding! I had heard about AT-205 from Scotty Kilmer's Youtube channel, he swears by this stuff and has apparently been using it for years with great results every time. I decided to buy a bottle after throwing away my Lucas Stop leak, which is pure garbage. My 1997 Civic had a pesky rear main leak that the previous owner did not address when rebuilding the transmission so I was not game to pull the whole trans-axle for one seal. I decided to give this stuff a try and poured in the whole bottle, waiting 5 operating hours as instructed on the bottle. The leak stopped after 3 and has not leaked a drop since. I was so amazed I purchased another bottle and used half in my wife's power steering system on her 2001 Camry, and the other half in her transmission which had just started leaking. Withing a few days of driving both leaks stopped and have been dry ever since. I'm completely sold on AT-205, I will never use anything else again and I recommend it to all my friends! I'm not surprised the auto part store's don't carry it because it actually works! If you're reading this review and you're still not convinced I urge you to try it, remember Amazon will refund you if you're not satisfied so there is no loss.

My certified mechanic said "try ATP AT-205" before we decide to spend $$$$ to replace your rear main seal. Yea, that's the kind of honest mechanic I go to, not always looking to make a buck. It worked! No more daily drips of oil from the rear main seal. Enough said.

My dad has had the infamous 5.3 rear main seal leak on his Silverado. It has always dropped oil. This last oil change he changed to 5w full synthetic which made things MUCH worse. There was dinner plate sized oil stains on the driveway every day. I put a bottle of atp reseal in and it slowed it dramatically down to 2 or 3 drops now. Can't wait to put some conventional 10w l back in and hopefully stop the leak all together.

I decided to use a friend's car as the guinea pig for this stuff; a 2005 Maxima that's been beaten and abused. Anyways, it's power steering rack was leaking worse than any I've ever seen (a quart every 20 minutes of driving). The Rack is $250 online and looks like a huge pain to replace, so figuring I couldn't make things any worse, I decided to try this stuff. My friend gave this bottle to me almost 2 years ago, but I've been too afraid to try it in any of my own vehicles... I added 1/3 of the bottle and topped off the power steering system with dex/merc ATF then immediately took it for a drive. After about 20 minutes the leak had completely stopped! I topped it off one more time and then she drove it home 100 miles to Cincinnati and it was still 100% full when she got there. It's been another few days and it's still full! I hope I come across some more leaky cars in the future so I can try this stuff out on other types of leaks! Only time will tell how long this stuff will actually last, but even if it buys just a few months I'll still be recommending this stuff to everyone I come across. **Update** It has been well over a year and the steering rack is still completely leak free!

Being a former mechanic and shop owner I am very sceptical of snake oil products. I bought my daughter a 2001 Pontiac Firebird v6 with about 120k miles on it. It had a small leak in the rear main seal and the output shaft on the trans. It would leave about a quarter sized spot of oil and trans fluid on the driveway. I figured what the heck and decided to give this product a try before replacing the seals. I put half a bottle in the crankcase and half in the trans. To my surprise this stuff actually works! No leak from the engine or the trans since! It has now been a couple of months and still working great. I am now a believer.

Oh my gosh why didn't I try this sooner? I have a 2001 Land Rover Range Rover that has had a rear main seal leak for about 5 years. Very slight leak and mechanics all said it was not bad enough to fix. Though with that said, the leak is gradually getting worse. Did not have the $3500 to repair the leak (Rovers are ridiculous to repair) and after a lot of research, I decided to try the ATP AT-205 re-seal. After adding to the oil, I drove around town about 30 miles and parked overnight. Checked in the morning and couldn't believe that there was absolutely no leak! I have since driven about 500 miles and thrilled every time when I see that the leaking has stopped. Great product, highly recommend!

I bought a used Tundra with 140K miles on it that I knew had a leaking rear main seal. It was a $1000 repair if you get a really great deal. I ended up getting the truck for a really good price and was prepared to get the rear main seal fixed. I ended up putting it off and it was going through a bout a quart of oil in 5000 miles. I wasn't worried. Some German cars tell you going through a quart every 800 miles is normal. WTF? My old truck had the transmission go out on the road and I had to get it rebuilt by AAmco. They convinced me to replace the rear main seal while the transmission was out even though it wasn't leaking. I continued my trip, had the transmission checked out as required. I was informed then that the new rear main seal was leaking. On my way home I stopped at the Aamco transmission shop to get it fixed under warranty. Unfortunately it was Saturday. They told me I would have to stick around for 2-3 days but they would fix it for free. They also told me that I could just get it fixed at an AAmco near home. This turned out to not be true. The Aamco near home wanted another $1200 to replace it. I wasn't going to pay another $1200 after just paying $3500 to for the trans rebuild. I ended up putting some stop leak product in the Transmission. It slowed it down but never completely stopped it. After getting a few estimates to get the rear Main seal replaced I decided to look into Transmission Stop Leak again. I found this product and it seemed better than what I had used previously and that worked OK. I put it in according to instructions and drove around with it until my next oil change was due. I took it to a local Toyota dealership which had very reasonable oil change prices, only about 5 dollars more than it would cost me to buy the oil and filter. Tundras take 8 qts of Full synthetic. They confirmed that I needed a rear main seal. I asked them what about putting Stop Leak in the Transmission. They told not to do that because there was a good chance it would ruin the transmission. Well too late I had already used it. I decided to wait and see what would happen because it had only used 1 quart between oil changes. Oil is a lot cheaper than replacing the rear main seal. I am so glad I did because as per their instructions before I went back for the next oil change I cleaned the motor off really well with degreaser and a pressure washer. This time they told me that it wasn't the rear main seal that was leaking but the Cam Towers. This was goin go be $4200 to fix. Since it was using less oil I decided to wait a little longer to see what happened. The bottom line is AT-205 RE-Seal didn't ruin my motor. It did stop the oil leaks though. Toyota told me I had very slight weepage around my valve cover gaskets but never either of the other 2 oil leaks again. I can only assume they thought I got them fixed. I cleaned up the under carriage a few more times to check on things and was amazed at how well this product worked to soften up those seals to stop the oil leaks. I now have more than 180k miles on the Tundra and the only time it uses oil is towing a trailer at 70-80 mph for long trips. This product is a bit more expensive than some of the brands but in my opinion well worth it.

THIS PRODUCT IS AMAZING!!! I used 6 oz in a 5 quart engine after an oil change, this vehicle had a slow leak in the crankshaft pulley seal, and the engine had oil drips on the bottom every day. I had previously used Lucas Stop Leak, that didn't work. This is different because it is a polymer that softens and then expands seals and rubber. 24 hours after putting it in the oil and the power steering system, it appears that the leak in the engine, and the multiple leaks in the power steering system have stopped.
