Not sure exactly what this hammer is meant for, but it's worked for me. I had a freezer with a huge amount of ice buildup. I wasn't able to get it defrosted right away, but the longer I procrastinated, the more impossible the task. Finally, I decided to take an aggressive approach, i.e., this hammer. And, guess what? It was the right tool for the job. A couple of good whacks and the enormous chunks of ice just dropped off. Yay! All good. Right job for the tool or not, it was the right tool for my job. ;)

This hammer is just what any do it yourself person need it's well made, looks impressive, and the durability is way better than I was expecting. The price is very good for the quality you receive good job I highly recommend it to anyone.

I like this hammer so much that after my tools were stolen at work I bought it a second time. It's perfect for my hand, it's good size and good weight for knocking in ceiling inserts in concrete.

I bought this sledge hammer to do a special project. The weight and size was perfect for me to handle. It is ideal for ladies who might do nontraditional jobs and projects. I put down a couple of rail-road ties in my parking spot. Then, I drilled holes in the rail road ties and hammered in rebar to keep the rail road ties in place. The project was not difficult and a lot cheaper than hiring a handy man. This tool also might also be good for individuals who don't want to use the typical long-handled sledge hammer. I have since found other uses for it.

This is good small hefty sledge hammer. I brought it to drive tent pegs, etc. The handle is very tightly attached to the hammer head. It has enough heft that when swung properly and accurately, it will drive pegs, stakes, etc. of reasonable diameter until they are all the way in or have hit rock. It is doing what I wanted it to do: drive pegs and stakes.

Good quality little sledge hammer. Fiberglass handle will probably never break. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a lighter sledge hammer.

Great Sledge hammer! It's built very well! I would buy it again.... It can handle good amounts abuse. The handle feels great in the hands. The rubber coating is nice. The tool came in fast.... The hammer I got had marks on it like it had been used or returned. (See Photos) It is a tool and I will be beatings stuff with it, so I could care less. Great buy! For the price it's the best! Get one!

Banged out 30 semi truck wheel studs and banged in 30 new ones. This hammer took the heavy abuse. Even hit the handle a few times and just broke a little of the fibreglass off but it just kept on going. It's the second fibreglass sledge hammer I've owned. I can't say one was better than another but this brand stands beside home improvement store hammers.

Don't have to worry about the handle going bad as this stays out in the weather.

Been going to town to make our too-large firewood into kindling. Seems good and solid.
