Meguiar's products are great and I've been using them for years. I've painted 4 cars and used many of their buffing and polishing compounds for huge jobs and it has saved me hours and hours of time and produced incredible results. I got this kit for my brother in law who really likes to keep his car clean and nice and so I'm sure it'll go to great use!

I've been a Meguiar's user for over 10 years, and this is a great starter kit for anyone that is interested in taking the time to detail their own car versus taking it to a car wash or giving to someone as a gift. Some people can't find the time or would rather take their vehicle through a car wash than spend a couple hours washing, waxing and detailing their car. Maybe it's just me, but I find the experience a bit therapeutic. So here's what you get: 16-ounce Gold Class wash shampoo and conditioner, 16-ounce Quik detailer, 16-ounce Quik interior detailer, 16-ounce cleaner wax liquid , 24-ounce Hot Rims all wheel cleaner, washing sponge, foam applicator, and Supreme Shine microfiber towel. 1.) 16-ounce Gold Class wash shampoo and conditioner: Just add a few capfuls to a bucket and it provides a sudsy and silky cleaner for your car that won't remove the wax that is on your car. 2.) 16-ounce Quik detailer: Great to use between washes with the microfiber cloth to clean of any bugs or grime on the paint. 3.) 16-ounce Quik interior detailer: Use on the interior plastics and vinyl of your car. Use a different microfiber cloth than the one you use for the exterior. Recommend you apply to cloth first to avoid overspray. Brings out the color of your interior without the greasy look. (see picture) 4.) 16-ounce cleaner wax liquid: This is Meguiar's entry level wax, but it works well at providing a layer of protection for your paint. Water beeds up and makes it easier the next time you wash. 5.) 24-ounce Hot Rims all wheel cleaner: This product works amazing at cleaning the grease and brake dust from your rims. Just be sure to read the instructions on how to apply and rinse thoroughly. When used correctly, your rims will look brand new again. 6.) Washing sponge: It's a good sponge; mines lasted over 3 years. 7.) Foam applicator: Use to apply the Cleaner Wax 8.) Supreme Shine microfiber towel: This 16"x24" towel is best used to remove the wax you've applied to the car or for use with the Quick detailer. It's very soft and should not leave any swirls or marring of your clear coat paint. Again, don't use the same microfiber towel for the interior detailer as you do for the wax removal. The only item missing from this kit is probably one of Meguiar's tire dressing products. They have other kits that include the tire dressing, but it should probably been included in this one, too. I hope you found this review helpful in making your purchase decision.

I bought this to wash my fathers car as an extra fathers day gift. I didn't want anything fancy. This is what I thought: Shipping - Was great! I used prime and got it right on time. It was packaged well with no flaws (Ive seen a lot of comments about broken bottles). I can imagine that if another package was thrown on this, that there isn't any padding to protect it. Again though, I had no problems and everything was included. Quality of sponges/towel - The large foam sponge is really just a cheap, normal sponge. Nothing special. You'll probably want a better sponge to actually get dirt off (I used the towel for the bottom of the car and lightly "scratched" through the towel to get bugs/dirt off). The small sponge was fantastic for waxing! The towel was nice. I didn't use it for the intended use however, so I cant completely judge it. As a side note: ***If you want to do the job correctly, you will need MANY more microfiber towels! I bought more Meguiar's towels on amazon, 2 from the dollar store, and 2 more from an outlet store. That wasn't even enough. Had to wash/dry them, then continue. This is only if you plan to use them to swipe the inside, dry the car, then remove the wax from the car******** How well the cleaners worked - I started with the interior and used the detailer. I must say, it worked quite nicely. My father has old leather seats and they were not damaged at all. I used it on all plastic, leather, ect. Got the dirt off. Then I used the tire cleaner on the wheels. I've used tire cleaner before but this stuff is **amazing**. I sprayed it, waited about 5 seconds, and the suds were dark brown. I still had to wipe the grease off the rims, but it worked unbelievably well. My father couldn't get over how nice they looked. The actuall car shampoo was nice. Wasn't anything too special, but it smelled nice? I guess that's a plus. It didn't really "break" through any dirt or anything (not that I expected it to). The wax worked well. It was very shiny after I used it, but the shine only last a couple days in normal dry weather. I haven't used the exterior detailer so I cant review on that. OVERALL - I highly recommend this kit for anyone looking for a basic car wash/wax kit. Yes, you can get the 5 cleaning products for only a couple more dollars at a walmart (that is if you got free shipping) and not have to wait/risk damage from shipping, but you also get the basic sponge, wax sponge, and towel from this deal (which make it worth it if you, again, have free shipping).

This happened to be a special when I made the purchase. I grabbed at the bargain and placed the order. Usually I read the reviews first but this had a time factor so I bought it before time ran out. After the purchase I read the reviews. I did not have the leakage problem that others experienced. The package arrived sooner than expected and the contents were perfect. This kit contains everything that I ever use for cleaning my vehicles. These are quality products and do an excellent job. Although I got these at a special price the regular price is not enough more to keep me from reordering when my current supply runs out. Good stuff.

I love it! Keep the kit in the trunk of my car and use as needed, the foam wheel and tyre was is awesome and really works, the shampoo smells good and gets good suds, the sponge enclosed also works great, I feel like the wax isn’t exactly the best out there and I have a fair bit of swirl marks now so will be trying something else. The interior detailer is the shiznit I love that stuff and it lives under my seat, definitely recommended. All in all a good kit, I’m sure there’s better ones but for the money it does what I need.

Great kit! This is just what you need to get started if you want to get into detailing your car. I used every product in this kit on one Sunday morning (see photos) and was very pleased with the results. The wax included in this kit is fine for general purpose, but if you're really enthusiastic about getting your sports car or shiny black paint looking remarkable, I'd suggest using the Meguire's Ultimate Liquid Wax instead. The wheel cleaner works very nicely on aluminum wheels. I also use the Meguire's endurance tire gel on the side walls of my tires. I keep this entire kit in a small container in my car. If a bird or tree decides to leave its droppings, I promptly mop it up and hit it with a little spot of wax (why not?) Plus, when I get into the garage at night, I have no excuse to not wipe up any bugs off my front bumper. I have reordered the quick detailer and soap. These are great, affordable products to use regularly. Plus, detailing is a relaxing and satisfying hobby :-)

I love all the Meguiar’s products!!!! Especially when Amazon bundled them up & placed them on sale at a great price! I love the clay bar, it really works removing water spots & other residue marks left on your car after you just washed it ! If you take the pleasure in washing your car yourself, you will definitely see the difference between Meguiar’s & your current product.

This kit has everything you need to wash, wax, polish, and maintain your vehicle. (Less the bucket and water) Park your car in a shady place and hose it off to cool it down real good. Use the peanut sponge and the Gold Soap on the right of the picture (you only need a cap or two per gallon of water) and wash the car off really well. The soap smells like candy while you're washing. Makes you wanna eat your car. After you're good and clean hit the rims ONE AT A TIME with the purple (middle) bottle. They tire cleaner is safe on clear coated rims too. Don't let it sit too long before you wipe and rinse your rims. The white tire foam should turn brown after a few seconds when it comes into contact with brake dust and dirt. Once your car is spotless and clean, it's time to dry it. Microfiber cloth that's included does the job here. Ring it out really well every so often so it drys your car completely. Then comes the red bottle (far left) and the round applicator sponge. Do not get this wax on anything but your paint! And don't use too much because a little goes a long way! If you have vinyl/rubber trim around your windows be VERY CAREFUL! It will leave a white waxy residue if you get it on it since it's (duh!) wax. After you wax the entire car get another completely dry microfiber cloth. Go to where you originally started waxing and start buffing it out with 4 inch circles or infinity loops. The wax should be dry(ish) while you're doing this. Don't be afraid to use a different piece of the cloth if you get a little build up of wax. Once your car is buffed out you should be good. You can use the Black spray bottle on your interior. It's good on almost all surfaces except cloth. The red spray bottle is touch up for your wax coat. I had bird poop on my car the next morning after I waxed it and I used a microfiber cloth and it wiped right away. Nothing could stick to it. Then I used the red spray and buffed it back out. The red spray bottle is also good for getting rid of water spots after it rains on your fresh wax job. The bottles will tell you to do pretty much exactly what I just told you. If you do it right, your car should gleam for a week easy!

Normally, I am hesitant to buy a package like this, but I was pleasantly surprised about how good my car looks now. Tire cleaner first, then shampoo and wipe down the car, followed by wax. I never understood why people spent so much time cleaning their cars, but I'm a little OCD about cleaning mine now. I'm sure that will wear off soon though. I bought a 20 or 40 pack or something of microfiber towels at Costco. You need a bunch of towels to really get your car clean. Hand drying is just as important as the washing of the car. Otherwise, this kit is pretty much all you need. The quick detailer is actually pretty good at cleaning, although I think it's mostly water so I probably won't purchase that again in the future.

Bought for my stepdad who only uses this brand car products. He loved it all. It does come with everything shown in nice compact box which I was surprised I wasn't getting a giant package (it was easier to wrap that way). This was great since I couldn't decide what products to get him over other ones this purchase took the guess work out for me and made it simple by including a little bit of everything.
