I purchased this extinguisher for emergencies. It fits nicely in a standard-sized rear door cup holder. Will update with any issues.

Very durable....Had it for a little while, and it's still like new!

I use it in my vintage Beetle. I installed my battery during restoration correctly and it is well isolated, but it's just a good idea to keep one within reach at all times in a car you have so much time and money into. This one is a great size, capacity, capability and value.

Really nice, small and compact

Really nice, small and compact. A friend once asked, "What's that thing supposed to put out?" and I just simply told him that this thing is amazing for PREVENTING bigger fires. Not all big fires start out from explosions..... I keep it in my truck mainly in case something happens inside of the truck.

Decent extinguisher for the price

Needed a replacement fire extinguisher for my motorhome. Original got miss placed after a battery compartment fire. There was a recall on the OEM brand extinguisher. Ordered the First Alert extinguisher. It came with a new mounting bracket, but I t fit right in the OEM bracket. The color is white, same as the OEM extinguisher. The only physical difference I can see is the plastic safety tie is thicker than the OEM extinguisher. May be more difficult to release in an emergency.

I have a business that requires eleven extinguishers. Kidde has been first choice for over 25 years. Costco got our business until now. Just bought two car and marine units for my autos and will replace the business units with similar extinguishers by First Alert as needed. From Amazon of course.

Fits in my door cup holder

Cant attest to the usage but this will sit in the truck for emergencies. Fits snugly in the cup holder in my F150 ready when I need it.

Small and very discreet but a whole lot of safety.

Perfectly small for automotive use. I removed the included bracket and simply placed it in the cup holder located in the rear passenger door of our xB for easy access.

Works great on an engine bay fire.

I have this in my drift car as required per the rules. On saturday 8-8-2015 a car had an engine bay fire. His extinguisher failed to discharge so I have him mine. Quickly and effectively extinguished the fire.

Great Extinguisher For The Car

Have these in all my cars. Perfect for the car. Fortunately never had to use one but would rather have this in the car and never need to use it than need one and not have it. All cars should carry an extinguisher. Car fires are scary especially if a loved one is trapped in the vehicle. Also, cars today are being constructed with cheaper and cheaper materials which are designed to crumple on impact and can easily jam a door shut or lodge someone in a car. Not like cars of yesterday which were solid metal and could bounce off stuff. Anyway, buy these. Great product!
