I've been using these to drill small holes into beads (glass, stone, crystal, wood, etc.) and have had great results. I'm very pleased, especially for the price. The assortment is probably more than I'll ever need but it's good to have.

best set I have gotten yet

best set I have gotten yet. I did notice that they are a range of grit as I believe was listed however it does not say on the bits or on the package which is which, so if you were not paying attention or realize that they are different grits or heck some people probably don't actually know what that means, you would think that the quality between each bit is inconsistent. which it is but its supposed to be. long and short of it the only recommendation I have is to figure out a way to mark the grits, I dunno dip the shafts in diff color enamel or something, that's what i did.

Very Impressed

I bought these bits thinking they were cheap junk. I was wondering how many bits I would use up sharpening my mower blades. I was very pleasantly surprised when one bit did the whole job and looked almost as good as new. Sharpening steel is a serious torture test. These bits passed with flying colors. Really glad I bought them.

Nice assortment

I purchased these bits to use with a dremel tool. So far I've used 3 of the bits and had good results in carving a test piece of Lexan. I have also used one bit on some aluminum stock to shape the ends to a nice rounded semi circle that my phone sits on in the car.

It's been a while

But four or five years after the purchase, these burrs are still doing ok. If you're working stone, grind WET or you'll buff the diamond coating off - but that's not unusual, these are perfectly reasonable quality burrs.

Good price, works fine

I picked these up to clean burs off metal, carve away bits of glass and be handy when I have some fine detail work that requires just the right tool. I repair and restore stained glass windows, repair metal objects and do jewelry work and these are good for the price. They hold up to me banging them around as I move about the workshop and they handle the pressure of trying to get the details just right. I've seen people charging two or three times the price for similar bits and frankly, they aren't much better than these.

Great for sharpening wood working tools.

These bits are great for sharpening wood working tools and bits. That’s the first thing I used them for. I just marked the flats on a one inch bit. I used the marked flats as a guide, like sharpening scissors. It took very little time and cut better than when it was bought new. All sizes and shapes to sharpen the hard steel that most good cutting tools are made from. A real bargain when you have a plan for what you are going to use them for. I just gave you a great use for them. I haven't used them long enough to comment on their durability. You won't have to sharpen many bits to realize they have paid for themselves. Good buy.

Good, Quality Burrs

Arrived on time, as described. The packaging opened up during shipment, allowing each individual piece in the set to fly all over the inside of the box. Fortunately, none of the 30 pieces were lost, and no damage was done to them, either. The pieces themselves are well made and virtually flawless. Though I have only used a few of the burrs, the ones I have used work well, and seem durable. Other than the cheap packaging, this set is really good for the price and I recommend it.

Well worth the money! A great purchase!

Theses burrs are great!!! I was afraid with the inexpensive cost they may not work very well. As soon as I got the set I began making holes in and carving glass and rocks. They worked like a charm! Much better than I had anticipated. The thinner ones will break if too much pressure is applied but that is a given. I haven't worn any of these out yet but am sure I will repurchase this exact set when it eventually happens.
