Perfect solution

Finally a better solution to knowing if the dishes are clean or dirty than just using a sticky note that keeps falling off! Once my boyfriend and I got in the habit of remembering to flip the magnet it worked so well. One of the best little purchases I’ve made!

Love it

I don't know why it took me so long to buy this thing, but I'm glad that I finally did. Yes, to some it might be silly, but there are times when I forget or can't tell whether my dishes and glassware are clean. This $3 magnetic sign saves me from washing the 'dirty' dishes another time.

Just what I needed

The magnet is strong enough to keep it in place. I was concerned about the potential for scratches on the stainless steel surface but so far have not noticed any. As long as your kids don't play with it and spin it while you're not looking it does its job.

Good Reminder

Not too much to say here. Yes it will remind you that your wife wants you to empty the dishwasher. It will also remind your wife that you haven't emptied the dishwasher.

Works

It’s an affordable magnet for the dishwasher so that, theoretically, whoever washes dishes would place it with the clean half reading, “clean.” Then we could easily tell if the dishes are clean or dirty and dirty dishes would not be put away. LOL, requires training.

Great for remembering to run the dishwasher

I purchased this magnet for my dishwasher to help my family in knowing when the dishwasher was clean vs dirty. It has also helped me to remember to start the dishwasher instead of waking up to it being dirty, since I like to load it during the day and run it at night when water is cheaper and it provides a soothing white noise for me to sleep to. Something about listening to machines cleaning things makes sleep easier I guess. What I love about this magnet is that it has a great magnetic grip to my dishwasher, it doesn’t fall off when I put the lid down. I rotate it without ever removing the magnet from the dishwasher. It is very easy to read and use and look great. I am very happy with it.

This is what happens...

I guess this is what happens when I ask my wife “are these dirty or clean” too often. She ordered this thing. So anyway, I saw this thing on the dishwasher and just had to turn it sideways a time or two, so that it’s in the middle...just to poke the bear...er...um...I mean my beautiful bride. It works great if you’re looking for something that is handy to answer that age-old-question “are these dirty or clean”!

It's great and easy change back and forth. Moved into a new place and ordered this only to find out that the dw is not metal on the front- DOH! Not the product's fault, it is what it says it is, so no reason to downgrade. Price reasonable compared to some of the other magnets. Arrived on-time.

Great Product

We all have made the mistake of putting something dirty in with clean dishes because we weren't sure/did take the time to look if what was inside was clean. Although your dishwasher alerts you to clean and dry, once clean and opened, it no longer displays clean. It is super light and can be turned without being taken off the dishwasher. Made of plastic so breakable if being used for something other than intended purpose.
