I began the ketogenic diet shortly before buying this. During times of a weight plateau, it was encouraging to see my body was shrinking even though the weight wasn't moving. I chose this tape measure because I was a big fat man with a 60-inch waist. If you are smaller, the regular size will probably work for you. The number on the scale feels good when it drops, but losing 8 inches around my waist feels just as good. If you have fat to lose, the scale is only part of the story.

Only soft tape measure I will ever need.

So soft and flexible. Was trying to figure out how long I wanted to make a shawl, and measure accurately. This extra long Singer measuring tape is perfect for doing that and will be used frequently to measure other clothing needs. I’m very happy with its flexibility, not having to fight to keep the tape straight, or trying to make it lay flat. The numbers are nice and big, making it very easy to read. Great product.

ordered to replace my misplaced Singer tape

I am always walking around the house with the measuring tape around my neck, then leaving it somewhere in the house. I ordered Singer tape for their good reputation and really I am not disappointed. It could be a little wider; it is about 1/2" wide, it is 96" inches, making it usable for a variety of projects. It is yellow on both sides; one side is in inches the opposite side is in centimeters. It is made from flexible plastic and that is what I wanted with a secure gold-colored tab on each end.

excellent 96" soft tape measure

wonderfully large readable numbers. inches on one side, centimeters on other. enough weight that it stays laying flat where placed. for person who likes to run around with it draped around neck, perfect practical maximum length for average height woman. 5/8" wide is substantive enough so it doesn't string/stretch out for measuring things like waist. also comes in pack of 3 elsewhere on amazon

Good tape measure

Well, it's a tape measure, has markings on it (inches and centimeters) and it is flexible. No surprises there. I unrolled mine and rolled it back up in reverse so the loose end would start at zero instead of 96, but I guess they had to package it that way to show the length. Long enough so if a really fat guy wants to know his pants size, you can help him out. More versatile than a yardstick except you can't balance it on your finger. A good gift for people who just have to know how big everything is.

Great little value pack of extra long tape measures.

So glad to have found these extra long tape measures. I have so many of the shorter ones, but needed the longer length for a project. This value pack ia great as I can leave one in my craft room, one in my bedroom and keep one in my sewing basket.

A special looong measuring tape

Everyone should have one of these, especially if you sew. The standard 60 inch tapes are often not long enough and you have to measure in sections. If you are mathematically challenged as I am this tape is a boon. Of course it is made out of what seems to be heavy plastic so will last a long time.

Great deal I have found and accurate

I have been looking for a inches centimeter measuring tape for awhile why because they are actually expensive most places and I have no idea why but then I found this one on Amazon and it was a great deal great price and name brand so I bought it and it's actually accurate unlike one I bought on eBay that came from China that the measurements were way off...so I am very happy I found this measuring tape
