Worked great. Seam sealed a new 8'x10' 5-person tent and fly with one bottle. Foam dobber was easy to use. I did stop midway through doing the tent for the night and the dobber top was stuck in the lid, but I was able to pop it back in the bottle and kept using it with no problems. Product dried clear with only a slight shine on seams. Product was tacky in 1/2 hour and fully dry in 2-3 hours.

I purchased this for one of our old tents I still wanted to try to hold on to. The tent was over 15 years old and just through time and the normal wear and tear in the Texas heat, the protective seam had fallen off so I purchased this to glue them back on and try to keep it alive. Luckily I did this because that weekend we went camping and it rained a lot but due to the age of the tent we still had leaks. This product stopped about 90% of the leaks. The other 10% was years in the tent which couldn't be fixed. Product worked as I needed but tent went to the graveyard. Hope this helps...

Coleman (in my opinion) has gotten even better through the years ~ With Amazon how could woud complain with the pricing deals?!!

Works well, treated the Coleman Montana 8 person Weather-Tec tent we purchased from Amazon on all of the seams in July, then went on a 10 day camping trip AND had at least five days of hard rain storms, two of which were pretty much off and on all day, plus wind AND not ONE leak. GREAT tent AND Great sealer. Pleased with the way both performed.

Tremendous product! Bought to do extra sealing on a new tent. Applied easily. And it stood up to a torrential thunderstorm the first time we took the tent out! It stormed all night, high winds, many in the campground left during the night. We didn't sleep a wink that night but when all was over not a single leak!!!

Put this on my Coleman 2-person tent a couple days before camping in West Virginia in the spring, which ended up being predictably damp. Not a drop entered my tent through the seams I treated! Gonna have to hit the side seams with this stuff before I head out camping again.

Take a cheap leaky tent and make it great. Well worth the money and time to use this stuff!

Easy to use, enough for large tent outside

I ordered this sealant to 'prepare' for an upcoming camping trip, by applying it to my Coleman 10'W x 9'L x 6.4'H 6 person tent. The sealant had a padded brush top that made it easy to apply to surface, with some light squeezing necessary. This sealant was enough to cover all of the outside seams of the 6 person tent liberally (ensuring every mm of exposed seam was coated thick), but not enough to touch the inside. It was super fast drying out in the hot sun and I purchased another bottle just in case it would be necessary to coat the inside. I have not been able to test this sealant under weather conditions, but the seams now feel nicely shellacked.

Gotta do this if you're going camping

What can I say? I'm going camping, I wanted to waterproof my tent, I got Scotchguard Waterproofing and Coleman Seam Sealer. Duh.
