LOVE THIS CAGE
LOVE THIS CAGE!! I upgraded from a smaller one and my ferret cannot stop himself from stretching out across the entire floor. I got a second ferret recently and they both fit comfortably. My two cons about this cage: - wire flooring: I am not a fan of this because this hurts their feet. One of my ferrets is so small that her feet slide through the bars. I bought some stick on tile to fix this issue. - slippery ramps: The ramps are made out of plastic and my ferrets have a hard time gripping to the surface. I ordered some ramp covers to fix this issue. Overall, I am very pleased with this product.

Stellar cage
If you are on the fence, order this. I have three of them now. Love this cage. Was looking for something for two rescue chinchillas, and ended up upgrading all of my rats as well. Plenty of space for everyone and all their toys. Bar spacing does not allow male or female adult rats to escape, but babies I'm sure easily could. Did I mention plenty of space? I have a group of 18 adult female rats in one of these! Granted, a couple are pretty old and not very active at all, but there is plenty of space in there for all the girls and their toys. Solidly built, a breeze to assemble. My only complaints are that you cannot add another single unit on top to make it three high, the top is held on with only a couple of small screws, the storage shelf is very short, and there is a ridiculous tiny door on the top. Why? The door is tiiiny, kind of a pain to open, and awkwardly placed. You have to be super tall with thin arms or something in order to use it, I don't know. Regardless, good cage. 9/10, would recommend especially for the price. Good deal.

Perfect Cage for Adult Rats
This is an awesome cage. We purchased it for my daughters pet rat. It's a large cage, but it fits nicely in the corner of her room without being overwhelming. It was easy to put together and seems pretty sturdy. The only thing I would change is the bottom grate and middle grate. I would rather this be a solid piece of metal making it easier to walk across. Overall it is an excellent cage and would highly recommend it!

Great cage!
I actually like this cage. I have 3 ferrets and this worked out rather well. Mine came in undamaged, only 1 screw didn't fit well due to the screw top being flush from creating the screw, but I'm sure I could find another one at a local home depot or Lowe's. It's pretty big. Wheels roll well. Nice latch and lock system on both top and bottom door. There's a tray that slides out at the bottom and easy to clean. It comes with a yellow hammock (as seen in photo). There's a shelf at the bottom as well, to store stuff. There's a small door on top of the cage for access to whatever from the top. There's also a small door between the two cages where a ramp can be set for access between the 2 cages, but can be closed off to separate top and bottom cage, in the event you want to separate your small critters. I would recommend a few things if you have ferrets. My ferrets are babies and struggle walking up the ramps, because they are a bit slippery. I had to put large socks on the ramps, that my ferrets could gain traction. The shelves are a bit too slim for them too, even at 2 months old, I would go with wider shelves. I also had to lay down blankets on the bottom of each floor, because my ferrets feet are small and slip through the little less than half inch spaces.

Great cage for the price!
If you have read a lot of reviews on this cage, like I did, you'll know the little things that are a downside to this cage. Only the right doors open and set up would be hard to do alone, (at least in my opinion.) I've had the cage about 2 weeks and my mischief seems to be very happy! Plenty of room for them to run about. I was worried about how big this cage was, I just got a young boy rat. I was pleased to see that he didn't just slip right through the bars! Currently I have 4 male rats, 2 of which are very large, that live in this cage. I think 5 might be not be roomy enough, at least for large male rats. The cage itself is very nice looking and eyecatching. I would definitely recommend this cage for anyone wanting something big and nice but on a budget.

My rats LOVE the space! Great product!
I can not believe it took me 2 years to finally review this! I love this cage! I use it for my 4 dumbo rats. It has so much room and comes with two platforms, three ramps, and a soft hammock. It was also relatively easy to assemble, which is always a plus. The price can't be beat. When I bought it, I was expecting a low end fixer upper that I could work with, but it has lasted two years without an incident. The bottom shelf is a handy little place to put food, cleaning supplies, and extra toys. But I think the best part is that it rolls. I can easily move it over to clean up any spills of bedding. Like all other cages, it really doesn't become a true home for your pet until you furnish it with hiding places, food dishes, water bottles, toys, and things to climb on so I suggest picking those up as well, especially since the cage is so inexpensive compared to other ones of similar sizes. Over all, its sturdy, easy to clean, inexpensive, and extremely versatile. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who has adult rats (babies can slip right through the bars) and wants to spoil their furry friends. :)

highly highly highly recommend! Very well built. They've fixed all the previous complaints.
I read just about every review on Amazon for this cage before buying. I was a little cautious as it said "typically ships in 1 to 2 months" and I almost bought another cage w/ Prime shipping that was twice the money. Glad I didn't. I got the cage in about 5 days. The manufacturer must read the reviews here because literally every complaint I read has been addressed with the product I got. List of items I saw were fixed; 1. The cage is double boxed and I feel very well packed. There was a tear in the outer box but none of the parts inside were damaged. 2. I thought the instructions were actually very well done. Maybe they've revised them because I had zero problems building this myself. Just look at their detailed, exploded views to make sure you're using the right piece. Make sure you get the top and the middle right because the middle floor is made for a ramp attachment. 3. The ramps are plastic and the mid platforms are plastic too. I thought I read reviews that they used to be wire. 4. I didn't notice it came with the tray on the bottom. Very nice. 5. I thought overall build quality was excellent. I actually thought as I was building it that it almost seemed like it wasn't right that I paid so little for it. I don't know how they can weld and powder coat this whole thing for the money they're selling it for. It's a bargain. 6. Our chin doesn't seem bothered by the mid level wire floor or the base floor being wire at all. It helps keep the waste in the bottom tray instead of in the cage under her feet. Only challenge I see w/ the wire mesh floors is keeping the timothy hay where she can get to it. I think we need a hay bin. 7. I didn't realize it came with a hammock! It's shown in the product image but I wasn't expecting it so that was a nice surprise! 8. It's a small thing but I really like the brushed nickel finish on the door closing hardware. 9. Casters seem like decent quality. We'll see how they hold up. Overall I'm beyond impressed and glad I saved some money with this cage. I highly highly recommend this to anyone on the fence about it. It's a bargain for sure.

Really Great Value for the Price
Took a few hours to put together on my own, and one fitting didn't quite reach so I had to use gorilla glue. But otherwise, this is a sturdy, practical cage. I love the huge doors and locks, and the storage shelf underneath. When I had rats growing up, the cage we had was SUCH a hassle--no wheels, and you had to lift the entire 3 story cage off of the bottom tray, which spilled litter everywhere. This huge, moveable cage was such an improvement, and it's not as pricey as the other models I was looking at. Plus you can make it into two cages!! I will say that if you use it for rats, use it for ADULT rats only (unless you wrap it with a mesh material). Mine were still a bit too small when they moved in, so one kept squeezing out of the bars and making himself a nest on top. Also, since the bars on the two "bottom" floors can injure small feet, I put stick on vinyl tiles on those levels, which also made cleanup very easy. The plastic trays also wipe off for daily cleaning, and you can take them out and put them in soapy water for a deep clean. Just give your critters a couple litter boxes and you should be good to go!

Also for Reptiles!
Fantastic cage set-up for my iguana! I know this says ferret but my reptile pet is going crazy over it! I made some modifications: -covered ALL sides with plexiglass to keep in more heat. -cut middle wire shelf in half to fit large branches and other climbing objects. The only downfall for me is that just the top and bottom Right doors open. Left side is welded shut. Overall, it's strong, easy to modify and looks great.

Great cage for the price.
Decided to give cage a chance. For $94 cant really beat that price, all other cages are over $100. The packaging was intact. No broken wires or fixtures. 2 of the wires were sorta "bent" but nothing I couldnt fix one handed. Nothing worth sending it back for. I was a bit disappointed to find that their not double doors but the opening is still big enough to fix toys comfortably. I been rolling it around the living room while I was setting it up and nothing broke or bent so yaye. P.S. there is at least 2 different versions of this cage. there is an all black one with bigger plastic shelves and the middle shelf has the cut out in the back instead of the middle. the wiring seems to be a better built on the black one. the gray one has weak wires the flowing shelves dipped. the black version doesnt have that problem. also the locking mechanism WAYYYYY better on the black one.
