Worth the money
These are cheap speakers so they do not sound that awesome. But they get pretty loud, a lot louder than a computer's speakers. They plug in to a plug and have a too short cord for plugging into the computer's speaker/headphone jack. If you want them to last you should get a male/female extension cord for that so that the tiny thin wires in the cord do not break inside due to bending of the wire. They turn on and off which is good. The quality, even for cheap speakers is a bit below average based on my other smaller pair I bought from Amazon that used to be their 'Amazon choice' model. Still, cannot beat the price. Eventually hope to upgrade since I listen to a lot off my computer.

Surprisingly small but work surprisingly well
When I received these the box was so small I thought I must have made a mistake for ordering speakers this small. However, they work flawlessly and look just fine to me. I don't listen to music. I use them just for watching news on my PC and for Netflix and YouTube occasionally. They're all I needed. The only thing I didn't like was they have a 110 Volt power supply that needs to plug into the wall. It would have been better if they got their power from a USB connection on the PC. They wouldn't be good for a laptop for some people because of the power requirement.

Prefect from price to quality, just what I wanted
I love to watch movies, listen to music, on my computer but my volume on it isn't very good, I also listen to my audios why working around the home. I had a set kind of like this and was looking for another set because my last one broke from moving it from computer to kitchen listening to my audio. Haven't been able to find any with wall supply this small, not only that the bigger ones which are way too big for my needs were very costly. I need something that was small and didn't take up too much space. When I found this I was very excited, not only is the price right, but they are just the size I need. The only speakers I could find that would work for me were battery ones. I went through a lot of batteries before I found this set. I have bought several products with the Logitech brand over the years and have always been very please with their products. This is no different, they are made to last with heavy plastic that will not break easy, the cords are thick and can take some abuse. The cord between the two speakers is a good distances so you can get more of an all round sound. You are not going to beat this price, I was very surprise to find these so inexpensive that I could buy more for backup. There is no setup you just plug in and turn on easy as can be. I didn't expect them to be high end it wasn't what I was looking for, for me they work great, sound is good quality, and they are prefect for my use. I bought three sets, so I have a back up, They work so great the volume goes louder than I need it which is great you never know when you will need it louder and knew you can go that extra mile if you need to. Thrilled I now have one for my computer and one to set out in the kitchen for when I am working out there. Plus one I can set back or use in the car for my audios. I cannot tell you how excited I am to find this at this price and to have them work so well. I am over pleased and would love to give it more than a five star.

Just what we were looking for
I bought these for my wife's laptop, which is more or less permanently set up on a very small desk. These speakers are a little over six inches tall, and hefty enough to resist tipping over or sliding off the edge of the desk; just right for if you have a small workspace. The best thing is you turn can them on and off and control the volume with a simple knob. Another thing I like is they don't run through a USB port and as near as I can tell there's no software or drivers or anything like that; just plug into a wall socket and the speaker/headphone socket and you're good to go. I am really impressed with the sound quality and the volume these little speakers put out. A great value for the price.

Really good speakers for the price!
For Less than $10, the sound on these is really good - If you play around with whatever audio manager you have on your computer. It takes a little tinkering, but it's totally worth it. I was thinking I could use these till I could save enough to afford better speakers, but now I know that I can wait on that and get some more urgent things first. I'm really pleased with these. Oh, one thing - I have a nature sounds playlist, but these speakers do not like those sound at all. I can make it listenable by emphasizing the treble, so it's not fatal or anything. I will be trying to play around with the equalizer on the computer more to get better sound, but that's just quibbling.

Great sound and a REAL power cord, no wall-wart!
These compact speakers sound better than I expected for the price and size. I didn't expect much low-end and that is the case. But the mids and highs are very good ... for the price. I can hear the tom toms and bass, but not a lot of bass drum. And you do need crank them up to get the lows to push out. At very low volume it's all mids and highs. But, did I mention it's better than I expected for the price. I've bought quite a few terrible speakers in the price range. One thing that has thrilled me (I am easily thrilled) is that these don't have a wall-wart power adapter that takes up space on your outlet strip and gets lost. They have a hardwired 120V cord that goes from the plug into the speaker and never gets lost. Lost power wall-warts is a big problem here at my work where I'm responsible for the workstation computers and supplying employees with speakers. The volume control knob rotates all the way to click off the power and a theres bright amber LED power indicator on the speaker that has the 3.5 mm audio cable. The other speaker has the power cord. Speaking of cords, all 3: Power, Audio, cable between the 2 speakers, are about 4 feet long. They could all be slightly longer, but they worked ok on my desk where computer, power strip and monitors are not too far apart. At 4 feet the speaker connecting cable is long enough to put the speakers on each side of one 27" monitor, but not long enough to reach across 2-27" monitors side-by-side. Also, the volume knob controls the volume of headphones plugged into the headphone jack. They're loud enough for music or voice at a desk, and still loud enough to properly annoy your office mates at nearby desks. Not loud enough to fill a large room. Again, perfect for my application. This will be my new office computer speaker of choice. I will buy more.

Worth it
I am going to take a leap here and review a product based on what I paid for. (Crazy, I know.) A lot of people will say they don't get that loud, and they don't sound that great... I'm not sure the last time I bought a pair of JBL speakers for $10 so I have to say... for the price. These things are WELL worth it. Honestly, if you are seeing this and aren't sure if you should purchase based on others reviews STOP. The kind of people who don't tip when they go out to eat are writing those reviews. If you just want to spend $10 to have sound you've got it. I don't have a single complaint about sound quality or volume. I am not trying to bump beatz or listen like Bose himself... Merely to get the job done. Good enough for Government work.

Great Value for Office Set-up
For starters, these are not Bose or Beats or any other high-end speakers. But, they are a GREAT value for the price. I bought these primarily for an office setting to listen to webinars, news clips and some light youtube listening. They are clear, do not take up a lot of desk space, have ample cord length (both for the power cord and speaker wire) and are aesthetically pleasing. I do recommend these but not for the audio aficionado. Yes, there's an annoying red light but you can cover it with a section of a post-it colored black with a sharpie.

I dropped them 100 times, they still work
I tend to be a klutz, and have knocked these guys over at least twice a week since I bought them Aug 2016. The cover flies off one and across room, but I set them back up and THEY STILL WORK. Only now, after 15 months of me banging them around, onto floor, etc, is one starting to not give out as much audio as I need. I use them not for music, but for news programs running in background, I use Bose speakers for music. But these are great for office wear and tear and I can't believe these speakers are still working after the way I bounce them around. Plan to buy a backup pair for when these finally give out, but for everyday use, these are fine and worth the small price.
