I love this food processor for several reasons: 1) I have a small kitchen and it does not have a large footprint; 2) It is quiet running; 3) It shredded cabbage and carrots very quickly; 4) It is easy to clean; 5) It didn't cost me an arm and a leg; 6) The 10-cup bowl is a great size for 2-person recipes; 7) It holds 2 cups of liquids; 8) It makes great hummus and guacamole; 9) I love that not only does it have pulse, but also 2 additional speeds; 10) It is black. I realize these aren't everyone's opinions, but I always read the manual and do not try to get the machine to do what it isn't supposed to do. I am very pleased that I can now slice and shred very quickly and don't have to store this somewhere other than on my kitchen counter, because I use it every day.

I used mine just on vegetables and it has lasted. This is the 2nd one because the first one has worked so well and still working. My wife needed her own because she kept borrowing mine. According to the 2005 Dietary Guidelines for Americans about 2 1/2 to 6 1/2 cups should be consumed daily. In my diet I eat lots of vegetables and this is able to chop and shred them really fast for my soups and salads making easier to prepare. I like the fact that I have the extra blade because sometimes I want the thinner cut. The dishwasher takes care of the clean up. Good value...

I got this food processor several years ago, for the rental I was living in temporarily. I have used it pretty intensely for years (I make my own nut butters, and chop plenty of food to make patties for my kids etc, also I'm a food writer so I really do cook a lot and put stress on my appliances), it has done a great job and never showed signs of ware. Now I'm back at my own place only to find that my own much more expensive food processor works less well then this one, I came to regret it (actually I think I'll buy a new one and will kick the fancy one to the curb).

I am really in love with this machine. I use it at least several times each week. When shopping for a food processor, I knew I needed one that would make homemade nut butters without taking too much time, and I took a chance on this Hamilton Beach unit. This machine makes nut butter in just a few minutes, very easily. I have friends and relatives who literally have to let their machines run for 15 minutes to get the nut butter to the correct consistency. Mine took less than 5 minutes. You can see my sunflower butter in the photo. I also use it frequently to make mashed cauliflower, and homemade dog food for my dog. I really love how quickly it makes everything. In addition, the bowl is quite large, and I love the suction cups on the bottom of the unit, holding the unit steady onto the counter so there is no chance of it moving, tipping over, etc. Highly recommend!

I was looking to replace my 20 year old Hamilton Beach blender and decided to try this instead. I make a vegetable "soup" that I use as a substitute for commercially made tomato sauce as well as a tomato soup. There is much choppping of vegetables in preparing to cooking (about 8 pounds per batch) plus pureeing it once cooked. This handled the puree about as well as the blender & cut my chopping time by about 75 per cent. All in all, a very good alternate to the blender. This can not do all the things higher end food processors can, but it is excellent at cutting up firm vegetables, grating hard cheeses (with no knuckle damage), and breaking up canned tomatoes (home canned or commercially canned). I expect I shall find other uses for it as I become accustomed to it in my kitchen.

As far as I'm concerned, works just as well as much higher priced food processors at one quarter of the price! I could care less about name brands and this has all the power I need, easy cleanup and efficient results. I prefer simple appliances and don't need 10 different speeds to chop veggies so this works just fine. I also liked the intermediate capacity (10 cups). Being a small household, I don't need an extra large capacity, but I did need something bigger than the mini food processor I'd been getting by with. I really can't think of a reason why someone would want to spend triple the money on another food processor when this one also averages 4 stars.

Absolutely love this food processor!! This is my first one and I do not know why I waited so long to get this. I use it to chop/shred almost every vegetable you can think of (its worth its weight in gold...just to never have to chop another onion.) I have also made chicken salad and pesto with it...all amazingly chopped and blended . It comes with 2 dicing plates as well as the blades so there are lots of options when it comes to chopping/dicing. I have only had it about 2 weeks, but I've used it almost every day (Trying to get my family to eat more veggies!) and I do not have any complaints at all. And the fact that all pieces can be put in the dishwasher makes clean up a breeze! I would highly recommend this to anyone.

In an effort to become more involved in the kitchen I decided it was time for a food processor. I love the convenience of being able to slice and dice vegetables for dinner, shred cheeses, etc. My only regret is being intimidated by the simple appliance and not doing it sooner! <3 This processor is powerful and easy to clean so that you can move on from one thing to the next. I don't think I spent even 25 minutes on everything in the photo I included and that was with time in between to clean.

I was worried about buying a food processor online, and for the price I was skeptical that it would hold up to the abuse I tend to put my kitchen gadgets through, but I worried for nothing. This machine is marvelous! Sturdy, holds more than enough food, and processes like a dream. Easy to clean and looks great; small enough it can stay on my counter all the time so I never forget to use it! If it ever breaks, I'd repurchase it no question about it as it's very inexpensive compared to other brands, but I think this may be the last food processor I ever have to buy.

I have ready many reviews of many food processors to find one that I thought would be a good match for my budget and ended up deciding on this. I was not disappointed. This machine easily ground the ingredients for making humus in minutes. Once I figured out how to put it back together after washing it I was set. It was easy and the motor did the job far quicker than I expected it would. The cleanup was easy and I was able to get into any corner of the device quickly. The only thing slightly negative I noticed was the plastic bowl seems a lot thinner and light weight than other food processors I was looking at but then, it is also at least 1/3 of the price of other machines I was looking at so didn't feel it fair to reduce the stars. The suction cup feet kept it completely in place the whole time I was using it. The I had borrowed from a friend (which was over $200.00) did not have suction feet and in fact she warned me to stay with it or it would creep off the counter onto the floor.
