Fabulous!
I was skeptical that it could be as easy, convenient, and colorful as they say, as well as easy to clean and store. WOW! I have made 4 batches of popcorn and it will become a staple for us. Easy to add butter and salt to the bottom with the kernels before popping as well. COOL ITEM! Will be Christmas gifting some of these!

Great quality -little waste
Thus popped up nicely in both my theater style stovetop popper and in the microwave silicone popper with very few unpopped kernals. The popcorn is tender, never tough.

But you can bet a better bargain for the same popcorn at Costco
Redenbacher is right on when he claims that every kernel will pop — well, almost. But you can bet a better bargain for the same popcorn at Costco.

The best home corn for popping
After trying a number of different "quality" or "gourmet" popcorn, I found that the OR corn was the best for us. It pops up large and tender with a good enough crispy taste to eat even without salt. (I still salt it, though.) It leaves very few "widows" in the pot, and I only take 5 minutes to do a half cup in the evening. I use a large pot, oil, and shaking to prevent burning the popped and coaxing unpopped kernels to the bottom. It's quick and easy and the popped corn is so good! We have it three to five times a week while watching movies and shows at home.

Orville Redenbacher Gourmet Popcorn, Jar-45 OZ
I am now on my second jar. It is perfect for a mid-afternoon snack. I pop mine in the microwave. If you want a little salt, put a tablespoon water in your microwave bowl with 1/3 spoon of salt. Let it dissolve, add 1/3 cup corn and stir so that all corn is wet. You can even add a tablespoon of butter or use O. Redenbacher's Popping and Topping oil to the water if you wish. Pop in microwave for able 3 to 4 minutes. Stay with the microwave and when the popping starts to slow down, open door to stop the popping. (I learned this from a customer who wrote a review. If I could, I would thank her.) Arrived in good condition.

Consistently the best, freshest, better tasting popcorn.
Consistently the best, freshest, better tasting popcorn. I’ve been buying OR popcorn every few months for the last 11 years. The few times I’ve had to use other brands, I was reminded what a quality product OR Popcorn is! I have popcorn two to three times a week.

Pops good, tastes good
I really don't think you can mess up popcorn, but I didn't feel like going out to the grocery store, and I didn't want to buy a huge amount, and I like the screw top bottle rather than a plastic bag. The second time I popped it, without oil, I could not find any unpopped kernels! And I haven't burned any yet.

Heavenly Smelling Popcorn
I can actually taste a big difference in freshness from these popcorn kernels and the old ones I found in my pantry. These taste delicious, pop very well and my kids go crazy for it every time. We like to sprinkle on top Himalayan pink salt and Trader Joe's 21 seasoning salute (actually we put that spice blend on just about everything). It is heavenly! anyone wanting some good old fashioned "popcorn popping in a pot" advice should contact me :)

Back to original popcorn making
Recently invested in a microwave popper, so obviously needed some good popcorn kernels to try in it. Orville Reddenbacher's popcorn immediately came to mind. Was not expecting great things, but wanted to get away from the bags of microwave popcorn that always seemed greasy to me. I am totally delighted with my microwave popper, but part of the credit goes to Orville Reddenbacher for the high quality kernels. Recommend highly trying these kernels, whether using a microwave popper or on the stove, you will enjoy the fresh popcorn taste.

I only use orville raw kernels in my mw
i love orville gourmet popcorn. i never have problems with burning, scorching, or unpopped kernels. I also use the Presto Power Pop (also amazon) and power concentrator cup, then to my popper, add the corn, and pop it in my mw. This is definitely a winning combination - orville popcornwith the popper/concentrator. My microwave always yields large pieces of fluffy popcorn, no unpopped kernels, very little hull to get stuck in my teeth, and no burning. Every microwave is different, so you will need to experiment with both the timer and temp settings with your popper Oh, and I add 1/4 cup of raw popcorn, not 1/3 which is suggested max. Be careful with price fluctuations on orville popcorn from all sellers. rville ranges in price from $5.90 to close to $18.
