It’s cheap but it has help up for several flights thus far
Cracks me up listening to people cry about the durability of this cheap bag... news flash, it’s like $12. Your car seat is probably worth north of $100. Mine has survived two trips to Seattle. Guess what, has a small, no a tiny tear. But it protected my seat which is why I bought it. That’s the best $12 I’ve ever spent and it was delivered when I needed it last minute. If you travel nonstop, stop being cheap and buy an expensive one. I swear too many people skipped economics in school. You get what you pay for, however no sense in wasting money if you only intend to light use something.

Perfect for travel!
We have the JL Childress bags for both our car seat and our stroller and I can't sing their praises enough! I highly recommend them - we've taken them on numerous flight segments and the bags are still perfectly intact! I feel so much better sending them through plane-side checking knowing that they are protecting our equipment from dirt and germs. We haven't had any issues with them at all and will continue to use them as long as we travel with all our little ones' gear! The handles make it real easy to carry with the gear inside - that is an excellent feature. Both bags are plenty roomy for large strollers and car seats (we travel with a large Britax stroller and a large Graco car seat). I also like how you can fold the bags back down into the pouch for easy and compact storage. All in all, we are very happy with the protection they provide from dirt, germs and scratches and would buy them again in a heartbeat! Highly recommend!

I just wanted something cheap that was somewhat sturdier than a trash bag. Per previous review suggestions, I lined the inside seams with duct tape which was quite tedious. The bags served their propose and held up very well. I bought and used two and one of them has a very small hole from being dragged or scraped but it didn't cause damage to the carseat inside. The carry strap came in handy.

Did a good job protecting our kids' seats
These were more than big enough to fit our kids' harnessed car booster seats into. They did their job protecting the seats & are very visible when you go to hunt for them at the baggage claim area do to the red color. They both made it through a round trip vacation to Kenya(multiple layovers) without any apparent holes or tears.

A must have when traveling with car seats
For the price it was perfect. We don’t travel often so the durability wasn’t an issue for us. I could see how these might not hold up for more than a couple trips, but the held together for a round trip vacation for us just fine. I love that they store inside their own small attached bag. They will definitely work for at least one more vacation, which is all I can really ask for from an $8 bag that’s getting thrown around by baggage handlers. With the carrying handles my husband was able to carry all 3 of our kids car seats where the needed to go, even if he looked a bit like a pack mule. The bright red makes them easy to spot when picking them up too. Definitely recommend for anyone flying with little ones.

I tried to put a blanket on top to cover that part of the car seat so it wouldn't get dirty but it ended up sliding down in transit
Went on a trip from CA to ID with 1 layover. I had two of these. One for a Recaro Performance Ride and the other for Britax B-Ready Infant car seat with base. The bag barely fit the Recaro. There was a bit of a gap on the top. I tried to put a blanket on top to cover that part of the car seat so it wouldn't get dirty but it ended up sliding down in transit. It fit the Britax really well though.$ After the round trip flight, I examined my bags and it took some beating but no significant holes. For that price, I think it held up pretty well. I think it could even take 2-3 more trips. Overall, I definitely recommend it. You get what you pay for and for $6-$7, it was definitely worth it.

Simple Travel Seat/Stroller Protection!
This is a simple, efficient solution for both gate checking and standard baggage check-in of either a carseat or a stroller. Don't worry that it says "GATE CHECK," they will still accept it at the baggage check-in, and it's a great alternative to the plastic bags some (but not all) airlines provide to protect this kind of gear. It fits our Evenflo carseat or our folded Baby Jogger City Mini - I'm told it's actually a better fit for this style stroller than the dedicated stroller bag model. As some reviewers have said, it's not bulletproof, but it keeps everything clean and all the straps and pieces intact, and your bright red bag is easy to find when returned. Note that some European/low-cost airlines will not return your stroller to the arrival gate even if you checked it at boarding, so it's nice to know it will be protected all the way to the baggage carousel. It's lightweight and folds up easily into the integrated zippered storage bag. The drawstring top allows a luggage tag to stick out should the gate agent insist on tagging the seat/stroller itself, though when I remember I try to have them tag the bag's carry handle. It's been all over the world with us, and the dirt's on the bag, not the seat/stroller! I'm ordering two more as we await the birth of our next international traveler. (Note: To guarantee a stroller stays with you gate-to-gate, try a Mountain Buggy Nano Stroller V2 (2016), Black. The original (now cheaper!) version is also great, it folds up carry-on size to be taken on board in the overhead compartment and has it's own bag. Universal straps hold an infant carrier and I've also strapped in our Evenflo by wrapping the LATCH straps around the frame.)

I'm so glad we bought this!
We just traveled for the first time with our infant and there were so many things we weren't sure about. After reading a lot of reviews, we decided to get this and the same brand stroller bag for our trip. I'm so glad we did! At each gate we took apart the stroller and car seat, easily put them into the bags, and either took them to the end of the jet bridge ourselves when we boarded or the gate agent took them for us. The big handles are nice and that's where they put the tags. Because they literally threw our things down a slide, I'm happy we had our stuff protected in the bags. The bags fold up super tiny into the attached little bag, but they also squish down really small even when you don't fold them up, so between using them we usually just had them in the basket under our stroller and that worked perfectly. I was extra happy we had these bright red bags when we had an extremely short connection due to a delay. We happened to be sitting behind a pilot while we were panicking about making it to our next flight. When we got off the plane, the baby (strapped to my body) and I hurried to the next gate while my husband waited for our gate checked stroller and car seat. When the pilot we were sitting behind got off the plane, he saw that my husband was still waiting for our stuff. He said, "What do your bags look like?" and when my husband told him we had two big red bags, he left his bag by my husband, ran out, and got them for us!! We were so glad we had these super bright bags that you couldn't miss! While not ideal, my husband then carried both (full) bags AND rolled a suitcase about 20 gates and we made it on the plane. Phew!

Boy has it been useful!! Its been through at least six airports ...
I bought this product for a vacation trip a few months ago. Boy has it been useful!! Its been through at least six airports since then and has performed very well. Paid for itself in car seat fees avoided at rental car companies!! Plus, my daughter is really picky about her car seat and this bag allows us to take her car seat wherever we go!! After extensive use by us and abuse by airline staff, its still going strong. A few cosmetic blemishes here and there but structurally intact! Strongly recommend this item for parents traveling with car seats.

The airlines love these
We bought this because we were moving our whole family across the country, and had three carseats coming with us. We bought this cover and a thicker padded one. We used the thicker one to check our brand new convertible seat with our boaster base tucked inside. And used this one to throw over our infant seat we were gate checking to keep it dry and from getting too banged up. Our other cover was much fanicer with backpack straps and certainly offers more protection and would be good if you are packing up seats before you are in the airport, but when I traveled again with just my infant I prefered this one as it was easier to keep folded up in my stroller and it’s quick to put the seat into. This basically will help keep your seat dry (though i doubt it’s completely water proof so if it’s really pouring it may still get damp), and it will prevent it from getting too banged around. It aso makes it much easier to spot (which is good as some airlines unload odd shaped items in a seperate area), and it makes it easier for the airline to handle your seat. The bag is large and can easily fit over a carseat. I think it could probably go over an umbrella stroller or compact stroller, but have never tried it. I think I have traveled with this three times and every time the attendants are always saying how much they love these types of bags for carseats.
