Awesome bacon

I love this product very much and when you make it crispy and put it in the context of a breakfast sandwich or any sandwich it taste even better than bacon if you are not looking for all the grief and calories

As addictive as regular bacon

Tastes great in small amounts. Just as addictive as regular bacon. Tends to stick together a bit, but it wasn't enough of a problem to take off a star.

I think this is the best fake bacon.

If you're looking for fake bacon, this is where it's at. I've been veg (with a meat allergy) for about a dozen or so years tried all the other brands. You aren't going to mistaken it for the real thing but it's a decent substitute. It does seem to weird out some of my more anti-meat vegan friends (maybe it's the [veggie] fat ripples in the product) but it works for me. I find it tastes more like (crispy) bacon if you fry it to an unrecognizable crisp but if you're priorities are for it to taste less meaty and more yummy I'd recommend just heating it up until it's warm and soft. It's not going to fool anyone but it's a nice substitute, particularly if you're like me and miss the general salty greasy flavor of bacon but tend not to crave actual grainy meat so much. I actually like the texture of this better than meat even if it doesn't quite have the taste down pat.

Hubby says this is better than real bacon!!

I make BLT's with this and my meat loving hubby claims he likes this better than real bacon. The texture is so delicious! With products like this I know I can stay vegitarian.

I do not like bacon nor that flavor of meat. I do like smoked flavors, and bbqed veggies. This has that special flavor that dress up a veggie sandwich!
