This is pretty much all I use with dishes.. I also have a more abrasive sponge that needs to be used from time to time, but I find that this sponge is usually the perfect gentleness/roughness for washing dishes by hand. It's always an exciting day when I can pull out a new sponge from the Scotch-Brite sponge bag and throw away the old one. The sponge reaches a golden age after it's been worn in enough that it's not so rough on my hand, but it's still super effective.... that's the best times. But eventually, all sponges pass their prime.. and thus the cycle begins anew. It would be nice to have a dishwasher, but these sponges are less expensive and more fun!

I cook a lot. My husband bought me all stainless steal skillets about four years ago. I use the Scotch Brite Non Scratch Scrub Sponge at least three times a day everyday cleaning those pots and skillets. I have never had a single scratch in on any of them using the non scratch sponge. Plus, instead of going through a box of steel pads weekly, this sponge outlast all of them and saves me money. Also, when I clean my stove top, I use the same Scotch Brite Non Scratch Scrub Sponge and it has never scratched or harmed the paint on my stove (or refrigerator!). Excellent product, great price and best of all, it is dependable each time I use it.

Don't try to save a buck and get no name or Walmart brand sponges. This sponge absorbs just as well as any other, but the scrub pad is what makes this a must have for washing dishes and pots and pans. It is safe for Teflon coating but tough enough for steel and aluminium. The scrub pad also lasts longer than any other I've used. Scotch Brite pads also stay bonded to the sponge better than any other. I tried Walmart scrubbing sponges only one time and the pads separated from the sponge after only a day or two. Their pad also turned fluffy and soft just as quickly.

I've used the green ones on my All Clad LTD pans for 19 years because they were recommended to me by All Clad when I called shortly after purchasing my first piece and couldn't get it clean. However, I recently began using All Clad's Copper Core with a mirror like stainless exterior. In an effort to avoid scratches, switched to these. I'm amazed they not only clean as well as the yellow/green ones . . .they do not scratch one bit. I highly recommend these sponges for most of your cleaning needs.

Husband have you slaving in the kitchen! Can't come relax until you've cleaned it all! Then this 9 count sponge set is the one for you! You can scrub until your knuckles bleed with these bad boys! Or if you are just the type that doesn't like stinky sponges this is a great buy. I have kids and a husband that can't seem to ring out the sponge when they are done using it so needless to say they get stinky faster than normal. It's true you can put them in the microwave for about 15-20 seconds to kill the bacteria but sometime a new sponge just feels good and when you have 9 who cares!

Great sponges. They work great if you cut them in half as well. Then you get twice the sponges and it's easier to clean in the corner of casserole dishes. The "rough" side does a great job with baked on messes without scratching any of my dishes. The sponges are durable and don't fall apart easily, if it starts to smell I just pop it in the dishwasher with my dishes for a quick sterilize. Works great for Dutch ovens, pots, pans, regular dishes, etc.

These sponges are great (bought some with "rubber" by mistake from the store, and they had an unpleasant smell in less than a week) and keeps smelling pleasantly after a week or two of use. Throw them in the dishwasher on top rack, and it cleans them better than the microwave. For daily use in busy kitchen (if you rinse them out after each use/don't let them sit in dirt/grease), these will last well for 1 to 2 month. No scratches on pots and pans, if used without excessive force.

It soft to scrub pots and pans with it. the tough side part of it wont scratch ur pots either but gets rid of tough stains. After 2 weeks usage it will wore out and the tough side of it will lose quality of getting rid of tough stains. I throw this sponge away every month for a new one. It builds up molds and bacteria quickly inside the sponge. Overall it works well to wash off pots !

An American standby that thankfully still works like it always did. Don't be without them. P.S. If you have any new pots/pans, do not use abrasive cleaners or anything like steelwool on their interiors as they cause micro scratches that only serve to capture and hold food particles that are then burned on. Be smart, go blue. Esp you Michigan fans.

These non-scratch scrub sponges are easily the best. They're convenient, the shape makes it possible to clean anything, and the non-scratch scrubber doesn't detach like cheaper versions. You get a good sponge and a good non-scratch scrubber that will last through your tough dishes jobs...and you can easily hold both of them because they're built together...and they're a 6 pack. Do it!
