This wire wheel is actually very good for the price. It has been working well in my small right angle grinder for removing heavy rust scale from metal. The coarse knotted bristles are still relatively intact considering the fairly heavy amount of use it has seen and I will definitely be purchasing another of these wire wheels when needed.

Great for cleaning metal of rust

Should have bought a wire wheel a long time ago. Great for cleaning metal of rust, even heavy rust. This has decent quality.

Excellent quality and works better than expected.

I'm refurbishing a 60 year old drill press. I needed something to help remove the old paint, rust, and accumulated grime. This does a fantastic job. Used in a .5 inch drill it quickly got down to the bare metal. Best of all it is very good about retaining the bristles. Other wire wheels that I've used have been prone to losing bristles and wearing down quickly to the extent that they can be unusable. That is not only frustrating but dangerous when the bristles are lost at speed. This has resolved those problems. Highly recommended.

Well balanced last a long time if used correctly.

What paint?

This thing is a monster at removing paint. It allowed me to see just how bad the welds were that were covered up. It left the metal pretty intact, which is nice that extra material isn't being removed. The wire weave on these speaks quality. The bristles are nice and thick, and after a half-hour of use, haven't noticed much wear at all. These should last quite awhile. Having used other methods of removing paint from metal, this is by far the best/funnest way to get the paint off.

Give it a Good Spin

Very nice quality, just used up my Dewalt twisted wire brush and needed a new one, After looking here on Amazon I saw this brand and thought I would give it a try as the picture & reviews seemed good, glad I did! they are made much better, and Yes a gave it a Good spin, this will now be my go to brand for wire wheels - Also Bought the Formey Cup Wire brush to go with it.

Best wheel I have found thusfar...

Im currently in welding school and this is the only wire wheel to make it through a 3 week phase. Other wheels lasted 3 days tops...

Durable

Very durable and long lasting depending on usage. Other than that its a wire wheel so use safety glasses. Wire in the eye sucks, trust me.

Works even better than expected!

Very impressed with this wire wheel. I am using it on a Makita angle grinder and it works great. I have been grinding rust spots on my metal fence around the house. I have used this for about 7 hours straight lightly grinding away rust and flaking paint on my fence. I have pretty well worn my first one down, but I am very happy to get that much usage out of it. The wire is now about 3/4 of the length it started. It also has just not started throwing wires out. I have just order another one so I can finish the last half of my fence. For this particular purpose it seems to be working perfectly. I am very happy.
