Impressive stripping ability

I am refinishing an ornate aluminum pedestal mailbox. Stripping off loose paint. I used a couple of braided grinder brushes from DeWalt. But I needed something a little finer. This thing was amazing. It stripped off paint the braided brushes wouldn't. As I was installing it on the grinder I noticed a single wire that was not attached. Other than that I never noticed one wire eject. I used it about 10 minutes and it still looks brand new. For the price I quite pleased.

Less schrapnel

Product workes better than competition. I tried various wire wheels and these lasted the longest by far. Some wheels within minutes I would pull shrapnel from my body . This wheel retains them much longer but they still break free eventually

Finished my whole project and it still looks new

Great value for the money. I used the wheel to "distress" a piece of furniture I made. It worked out great and now I have a piece of heirloom furniture I can pass on.

Decent quality, holds up well

This wire wheel is holding up very well on my bench grinder. The brush is not super aggressive, so it’s perfect for cleaning up metal tools and knives.

Works as intended

If using on softer metals like Aluminum it will eat into the metal very quickly so be careful when using it.

The BEST wire wheel I've put my hands on. Makes my welds look like the weld gods have caressed and perfected every dime laid. The wheel lasted me a solid 3 months before my grinder would get in the way. 10/10 chief

Forney 72788 Wire Wheel Brush, Coarse Crimped with 5/8-Inch-11 Threaded Arbor

This crimped wire wheel has been working great for removing paint and light rust scale from metal. The bristles are now slightly worn down, but still largely intact and it continues to work well. I think this wire brush was a good value considering the price and how well it has been working for me, so I will purchase again when needed and would also have no problem recommending it.
