Braces are no fun, but these flossers make it easier.
These flossers are a life saver, or at least a time saver! As an adult braces user, my teeth are VERY sensitive, but these are pretty comfortable to use. When my braces were first put on, there were several teeth were the wires and brackets were just too tight, but a couple months in, I was able to use them between all my teeth. For reference, check out the picture comparing a platypus and plackers flossers, the one with orange being the plackers brand. I highly recommend the platypus brand; the other brand is thicker, and I can't fit them under the wire in several teeth.

Kid tested, kid approved
My 11yo daughter got braces a couple weeks ago. The orthodontist gave her some of those thready loop things to aid in flossing and told her to floss every day and I smiled and nodded and remembered back to when I had braces and can probably count on no hands the number of time I flossed. I don't even remember being told it was an option. It looked tedious and cumbersome and I was not looking forward to asking her to do it. She was actually super diligent about it it for about a week, and then she started asking for "ortho picks." I looked them up and they looked promising and easy to use but I also came across the platypus brand and I ordered these because they looked quite similar and I love platypi. (Not saying that's a GOOD reason but it's a reason) My daughter loves these. So much easier then threading floss under the wires. I had thought we would try both brands and compare, but another user posted a side by side pic and the Platypus ones look as though they will fit in tight spaces better, so I think we will just stick with these. These seriously eliminated the part about braces I was most dreading - asking my kid to floss. (Well, the part aside from the cost, I mean...)

Very useful
I got braces back in early Oct. and for about a week before discovering these existed, flossing before bed w/ a threader and regular floss took longer than what I would've liked and seem unrealistic long-term. After purchasing these, I've came to a bit of a compromise with the way I floss. Yes, it makes it easier to floss most of my evenly spaced out teeth, but I've decided to use a reg. flossing method when it came to my teeth that are a little bit more crowded. Having these get stuck between my teeth and yanking it out had me a bit scared that I might eventually yank a bracket out on accident. Otherwise, I'm glad I have these and will continue to purchase.

Dental Hygienist Review
I have been a hygienist for 16 years and these are the best flossers for ortho patients I have ever used. Flossing with braces is extremely difficult and to expect children from the ages of 10-17 to do it when they don’t normally floss without braces is a joke. However these are game changers, I highly recommend these to anyone with braces. I originally bought them for my child, but I will be buying them for use in my office.

These will get them flossing (for braces-wearing folks)
wow do these work! Flossing is not a quick easy task when wearing braces, or at least it never was in my day. So with a bit of skepticism, I got these, hoping they really were the miracle they claimed. After having the children (3-in braces!) demonstrate to me that it was doing what regular floss should, plus good reports from their orthodontist, I am convinced. This is like us non-braces wearing regular folks, using a brush pick. It's that easy.

Very good for people with braces
Happy with this recommendation from the ortho. His assistants are always telling my kiddo to floss her teeth through the braces, which is very nearly impossible with top and bottom braces. Flossing can be accomplished with braces using regular floss and a special threader, but that was so time consuming and a pain. So this is an excellent solution and having the "christmas tree" cleaner on one end was also very good. Only downside is the price: pretty expensive for a set of 60 flossers. But I couldn't find at any local brick-and-mortar so this is as good as it gets.

Just what the dentist ordered
Our dentist recommended this product. Works pretty easily and our son appreciated it. There are few other brands that do the same thing and you get more for the price. I will buy these and the other brands just to have a mixture of them. Can never have too many flossers when you have braces.

wWhat you should know about platypus flossers.
They are great if you have braces. They are more expensive than traditional style itsens that are similar , but totally different if you wear braces. These slide right under the braces as advertised. It it wonderful to buy a product and when you get it home it does what it is advertised to do. If 5 stars is the highest... I give it10 stars‼️

Much easier to floss with braces!
Our ortho sent my 11yro daughter home with flossers for braces called "Plackers" that even I could hardly get underneath the wire. They caused my daughter a lot of anxiety trying to use them! The Platypus flossers are much smaller and fit under the wire easily! I'm very glad I took a chance on these... they are exactly what we needed.

Great product for normal braces. Would not recommend for lingual braces/retainers.
These arrived very quickly and were definitely the real platypus brand floss picks. I can see how these would be a life-saver for people with normal braces. I have lingual braces (on the inside of the teeth) and these are clearly not made for that use. You’d think that would be obvious from the product description, but for some reason I was convinced I could make it work...sadly not. It is impossible to hold the entire stick inside your mouth and floss. Hoping this helps anyone who was considering the same usage. Keep to super floss for inner wires.
