This is holding up my projector as solid as any other heavy duty expensive name brand amount would do. It came with more screws and options than I needed and can practically hook up to any projector for device easily. I highly recommend buying this mount. You don't need anything more than this unless you have a tall ceiling and need a longer rod. If that's the case I'm sure you can custom make a ride and attached both beans to the rod for a lot cheaper than anything else you'll find on the market. The projector hangs about 8 inches from the ceiling just to give you an idea. You can't beat it for the price or quality.

This went together really easily. I mounted mine to the iRulu BL20 projector. Comes with a shorter set of feet used to attach to the projector which I needed. I had to order a second one since the first one came without four needed washer/nuts and the company wanted pictures of the parts I got and descriptions and it seemed like it would take forever which was way unnecessary so I just ordered a second one with the intention of returning the first one. However, I decided to keep the first one and mounted the "ceiling" part to a piece of plywood as a base and now can move the projector from the ceiling to the base and have the same adjustment capabilities for outside viewing which makes it really nice. No more stacking things on the table to get it right. Very simple and inexpensive mounting solution.

The very first words in the instruction manual are "Thank you for purchase this mount." Let's be honest, you want to buy this because it's cheap and functional, not because it's fancy. At $30, this is far cheaper than other alternatives, and it gets the job done. Pros: Cheap, strong, and it really is universal. I've read that it doesn't fit a few types of projectors, but I did not have any problems with mine. It comes with several extra screws of various sizes to fit into your projector, and honestly you could just as easily buy new screws that fit and still come out ahead. Due to the angle of my studs, I had to mount it sideways, and it still gave me enough options to properly angle it to match the screen. And this mount is definitely sturdy. You may be skeptical that a mount this cheap could be strong, but I have no fear that my projector will fall. Ever. You could use this thing for pull-ups if you wanted. You can also skip using the extendo-rod if you have a short ceiling, or else use the 1-2ft optional rod to meet your needs. Cons: Terribly written instructions. You kind of have to wing it a bit, but it's still worth dealing with the assembly. Some pieces are glossed over, some are needlessly complicated, and the order of construction is a bit wonky. There are a million washers that all look the same, but you'll figure out their system soon enough. The screws it comes with are of very poor quality, and I ended up stripping both. So either this projector will be on my ceiling forever, or I'll have to replace the screws (which is still cheaper than going to another mount). All in all, I am very happy with this purchase. I would rather put in a little work and save $50-100 than go with another mount. I don't expect this thing will ever break, and I would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to mount their projector.

With the low price I didn't know what to what to expect but I'm very happy that I purchased it. PROS: The variety of options mounting options you can do are incredible. There were screws for what seems like every time of projector on the planet. I find it easy to take down, i use this projector as an outdoor projector on occasion and in one section you can unscrew 2 screws and safely unmount the projector. I can then turn over the projector and unmount the whole assembly from the projector. In the matter of 2 minutes I have the projector removed from the mount. It's just as easy to get back up! CONS: None for my overhead set up with a Benq W1000+. The only debate I have is whether to keep all the extra parts or toss them. Overall, I highly recommend this mount for your projector, it is extremely adaptable and secure. I noticed others have said the paint my scratch but I have not had any issues at all and find it quite durable.

I have owned a few projectors over the years and never bothered using a ceiling mount bracket. This time, I wanted to change my configuration and the use of a ceiling mount felt necessary. I searched Amazon for best rated (and cheapest) products that may suit my needs. So I ordered teh Video Secu PJ2B... I have only installed it yesterday. What can I say about it? - It comes with all the bells and whistles. I mean screws, dry wall anchors and so on - It is telescopic. - It is easy to set the projection right with it because there are horizontal and vertical and even diagonal adjustments. - It was affordable. - It allows for a better ventilation of the projector. Why is it better than using a fix stand? Because of the 3rd reason I gave for instance. Now it is perfectly set, no need to fiddle with it anymore. It is also secure from children's reach (apart from the cables). It also allowed me to move my bookshelf to another place (I was using it as a stand). Conclusion, perfect! I find myself a bit stupid for not having done that before. I will later take a picture of my install and post it with this review.

This is a dynamite mount. I have secured it and taken it back down and re secured it at a new house. It has very precise movement if you take your time and move it incrementally. The mount pole also allows you to hide the cables neatly. unfortunately you have to take it most of the way apart to get new cables in there. But with most things being HDMI these days or able to be with adapter you really shouldn't need to do much moving.

Overall, I have to give this mount 5 stars. It fit my projector as promised and securely holds it in place on my ceiling. It does exactly what it should do. There are far more good things than bad about this mount. The fact that it is universal is obviously a big plus. Mounting is quite simple. There is a main bracket that you mount directly to your ceiling, a second mount that goes on your pojector and an optional extension in case you need to lower the height of your projector from the ceiling (I didn't have a use for the extension). After you mount the each of the two bracktes, the mounts easily slide together for the final fit. The mount is very sensitive to movements/adjustments. It took me about 30 minutes of tinkering to get the picture to fit the screen perfectly. Besides moving up/down and side to side, you can also control the tilt left and right. Getting everything just perfect does take a little patience. The only downfall that I experience was actually mounting the bracket to my projector. I have an Optoma HD20 and saw on Amazon where others who did used this successfully. After tinkering with the arm layout for about 20 minutes, I finally decided to use the internet to figure out what the coorrect configurartiuon should be. Once I did, I had no problems getting it to fit and the rest is history. This is definitely a great buy and a solid product. Although I can only vouch for HD20 projectors, I'd certainly buy this product again!

I don't have any complaints about this product. It came well packaged, it looks great. It's a matt-ish black matching my theater ceiling perfectly. As people have said it seems like it might be easy to scratch but in mounting it and getting it on the ceiling i didn't scratch it and i won't be touching it ever again so no problem there. The washers are even a composite material so you don't scratch the black metal. The construction seems great so far, my projector is only 8lbs and this feels like it would hold much more than that so i don't see it being a problem. The arms that it comes with and the multitude of positions this thing can be in i can't imagine it not working with any ( normal sized) projector. Mine was an Optoma HD33 and it worked like a charm. I did have to take out the smaller arm and replace it with an included longer arm for the back left screw but no big deal there. It comes shipped with short arms for things that are the length of the arm and shorter and long arms for things the length of the arm and longer. There were two short ones and two long ones in out of the box so i just replaced one of them with the longer one and it worked perfectly. I was even able to center the bracket even though the mounting holes are decidedly bunched on the left side of the projector, not sure if it's because of access to the bulb or what, but because of the sliding arms i was able to center the mounting bracket in, as best as i could tell, the center of gravity. I would highly recommend this bracket for a really affordable but not cheaply made bracket. The addition of the extension arm is a great feature even though because my ceilings are only 8ft high i won't be using it. It really shows the company is trying to make it truly universal. Most of the time you get what you pay for when you find a product for MUCH cheaper than most other but you don't feel like you've been cheated with this product at all. I was going to give 4 stars just because i wasn't completely blown away but if a product does everything that it says, works perfectly, and i have no complaints about it I think 5 stars is warranted. UPDATE: So I've been using the product a little while now and i have a small complaint. Because of the flexibility and the multiple axises that you can adjust the mount it makes it a little bit unsteady when adjusting it. It took me a while to get it where i wanted it because i would get it where i wanted it, then try to tighten the screws and the screws turning would move the projector or putting my hand on it to tighten would move another screw. I ended up getting them all tight enough to hold, but just loose enough for me to move it and i would press in the direction i needed it to go and let go and see how close it was and keep adjusting that way, as opposed to most mounts I've had where i got someone to hold the projector in place and i tighten all the screws down. It just wasn't working for me doing that. As i was going about adjusting this thing i came across a good idea to have a mount that has knobs to adjust like a telescope... i'm sure someone out there has one like that. That would make for a perfect mount.

Was skeptical at first as mu projectors mounting hols only allow for 3 mounts, and they are offset, not centered about the center of gravity, but the versatility of this mount is amazing. I was able to stretch the legs and line them up such that the rod is almost centered over the center of mass and pivot the legs to mount in all 3 holes. I just removed the 4th one since I don't need it. Was an very easy piece to mount, more than enough hardware for all mounting applications and my projectors look slick hanging from the ceiling in my bedroom. I highly recommend you locate the studs in the ceiling, then mock up the mounting location and test the projector to ensure you get the screen real-estate on the wall you are projecting to first, if you just throw it up, you may not be happy with the place you first mounted it. You may be thinking that I went through this pain, however, no I did not, I planned ahead. The one thing I did do was mount the rod backwards the first time and had to un screw it all and flip it around. Wasn't necessary, but I am meticulous and wanted the wires coming out of the rear of the rod to plug into the rear of the projector. It just wouldn't look right any other way.

This thing is great! It's extremely high quality and extremely adjustable. When I got the relatively small package I was surprised at how heavy it was, because it's made of STEEL. This is of course mentioned in the product description but it's a fact not to be glossed over. Do you want plastic or aluminum holding up your expensive projector? It's mentioned in other reviews but it's important to note that this also works with 3 mounting hole type projectors. You just remove one of the arms and there's a center hole you can move the other arm too. If you have a smaller projector like I do (Acer H5370BD) you have to reverse one of the extensions to make it fit but it works just fine. It also comes with multiple different sets of screws so regardless of what size mounting screws your projector takes, this will probably have it. Because of how adjustable it is, you can probably expect to spend more time than you'd expect getting it just how you want it, but easily worth it when you get your projector pointing EXACTLY where you want it. I had no use for the extension arm but I can tell you that it also looks extremely solid and I can see from looking at it that it can be easily adjusted. The last thing I want to mention is the weight tolerance. It says it can handle 44lbs and I'd say that's conservative overall. Your failure points are going to be due to stress to the ceiling or the screws connected to the projector long before anything on the mounting bracket itself fails.
