Worked when nothing else would!
I bought remote controlled pillar candles (one of my Favorite Things!) to put on a vintage, wrought iron wall sconce for our bed and breakfast. The sconce was made for real candles, and smaller ones. Without being able to push the candles down on the pokey thing in the middle, (that's where the batteries are) the candles only had contact with the metal rim, and since they were larger, slightly hanged over the edge. I had hung the sconce on the wall where the front door is, and every time the door banged shut, the candles would plummet to the floor. So, I tried a hot glue gun with Gorilla Glue. I tried my fave 3M super sticky, double-backed, outdoor tape. I thought of using caulk, but eventually I'll need to change the batteries, so they can't be permanently affixed. Nothing worked. Between the waxy-ness of the candles and the slickness of the metal, it just wasn't happening. I ordered the Stick-um without much hope, but wonder of wonders, it works!! I slathered some on the bottom edges of the candles and seated them firmly onto the sconce. Many door-bangings later, no candles have plummeted! Yay! Just be prepared for a gawd-awful smell--kinda like your Gramma's perfume bottle broke over a can of putty. But the smell dissipated in the room pretty quickly, so I'm a happy candler!

Works Perfectly
Purchased candles for these wall holders, however, their base was too small and uneven to sit upright properly in the holders on their own. I thought I was going to need to find different candles, but then I stumbled on this product and after reading the reviews, decided to give it a try. This was VERY easy to use. I found I had to use about double the recommended pea size on each candle as the bottoms of the candles weren't flat. But once I found the right amount needed, I was able to place the candles upright without any difficulty. Just a heads up: when they say you need hot soapy water to remove it, they aren't kidding. I did get a little smudge on my dining table, and I tried to remove it just a damp cloth, and smeared it all over. Then I tried with a hot wet cloth and got nowhere. Then I tried a hot cloth with a little soap, and that worked a bit better, but not very well. I then used a very hot wet cloth and a lot of soap, and then dried with a micro fiber cloth, and it was finally off.

It really works!
I bought Fox Run 3100 Stick-Um Candle Adhesive for the first time to help hold my Chanukah candles. It seems that the "cups" are a little larger than the candles. It'a such a hassle every year trying to get them to stand up straight and stay that way util they've burned themselves out. In the past, I'd hold each one over a flame to melt a little of the wax on the bottom and try to get them set before the wax hardened again. I saw this, read some reviews and decided to give it a try. It works fabulously well! I just swipe the candles across it lightly, and put them in the holders. The directions say to use a pea size amount but with the little candles, you could probably do 3-4 or more (?) with just a small pea sized amount. There's no mess--no hassle. I haven't noticed any build up in the candle holders either. I've only had one candle that didn't burn itself up completely so I had to remove a little wax before placing a new candle. You'd never know I was using an adhesive with the candle--it must have just come right out along with the little bit of wax I scraped out. I haven't used it yet with a large taper or even a pillar but I have no doubt it's going to work. It provides a sense of security that the lit candles won't topple out of their holder. I'll never be without it again!

Just what my candles needed!
This is a fantastic product! I have 17" candles that kept leaning forward in their tapers so much so that I was afraid that they would fall out and break. You can use as much or as little of this product as you wish. It really does the job! I used to find candle wax in gift stores, Can't seem to find little gift stores anymore either. At least not in my area. Thank goodness for Amazon!

This stuff works!
I bought this to help keep tapered candles upright and in their holders without having to melt and drip wax into the holder. (that method is old school and leaves a messy tapered candle cup and makes the candle look bad. All I had to do with this stuff is take a small amount, make a tiny ball (a bit messy but fine) and put it on the bottom of the candle, push the candle into the holder and adjust, then voila! It sticks. Amazing. Easy to remove and replace the candle. No more tilting or falling over. I will definitely purchase when I need more.

Love this stuff!
This was an order to restock Stick-Um at our house. I love this stuff and have found some interesting, off-label uses for it. But mostly it just makes it easy to set candles in candle holders and get them to stand straight. Simple and functional. Problem solved.

This takes candles...and sticks them to things.
Pretty self-explanatory. If you have candles, and you have things you want to stick the candles to, rendering the candles immobile in the process, then this is the product for you. Joking aside, I go through a lot of taper candles for ritual work, and I have to make absolutely certain that they're not going to wobble out of the candlestick holders or I'll burn my house down. Stick-Um gets the job done and it gets it done well. I strongly recommend it. Oh, and a little bit goes a *long* way. It doesn't take much to render your candle immobile, so don't be tempted to use a lot or you'll just wind up adhering yourself to something inconvenient and possibly embarassing.

Worth getting.
On Christmas Eve, at our church, we put 50 candles in holders, we used this product on each candle to secure it in the holder. It's easy to use and securely held each candle. We wanted to make sure none would tip over during the service. I was surprised how easy it was to use and how tightly each candle was held. When it came time to take the candles out, they just pulled out of the holders easily. Great product.

It works!
This product works well for use with my chamberstick and tapered candles. Holds candles in place just well enough where you don't have to worry about them tipping over. The container is a bit smaller than I expected, but this is not an expensive item, and very little product is needed to do the job. Even the reccomended pea sized dab is being a bit too generous. Overall, I am happy with this product. Would buy again.

Sticking Straight Up!
This product is a god-send! We love using tall tapered candles in our home, and were constantly adjusting and readjusting to keep them standing vertically straight. Fox Run Stick-Um Candle Adhesive really works! Just a dab'll do ya, at the base of each candle. I apply before inserting the candles into our candelabra, and they have held steadfast for more than a month! Give it a try, you won't be sorry!
