This seems expensive for a plastic bucket, but it's a real convenience for gardening. It's flexible enough to hold oddly shaped tools or whatever, and also to grab both handles with one hand. This size is big enough to handle a lot of weeds and other garden trash. Of course it doesn't collapse for storage, as some other buckets do, but it is very durable and easy to clean.

Holds 10 gallons. Perfect for water for my horses in the summer. This is my summer watering system where I fill each night and dump in the morning. Easy to clean, easy to see for the horses, and light enough to lift and dump. This is my second year using these and it has worked very well. Do not allow to freeze - they will break (that is why I bought new ones.

Trugs are one of the best garden tools ever! My old ones finally wore out, and I sprang for two new ones this year. I like how strong and durable they are and how I can just clasp the handles together and carry with one hand if I desire. I've bought several for other gardeners through the year. I have friends who use them for toys in kids' playrooms, and I imagine the uses are very varied. Great price at Amazon!

I have used these tubs for years. They are the longest lasting manure tubs I have ever had. Their flexibility means that I can squeeze the handles together after scooping (at shows, parking lots etc) and can carry them with one hand while I carry the fork with my other. I have found so many places that I need one that I am buying a couple more so that they are handy when needed for carrying manure or hay or supplies.

I found out about this useful, sturdy, and oh so handy product from watching UK garden shows. The Brits seem to have it all of Americans in their love of gardening and have the best products. These are very sturdy and are not fussy about being left outdoors, are easy to clean and can carry more than I can. Love them, and if you can find them at a reasonable price, so much the better.

As a professional gardener, I use these trugs every day and have several different sizes and colors for different uses. Oddly, and for whatever reason, the blue-colored ones seem to last much longer than any of the other colors, regardless of size. Heavy use, chronic exposure to sunlight and using them in extremely cold weather eventually takes it's toll in broken handles and split-bottoms. That being said, they are still one of the handiest, multi-purpose tools I use on a daily basis and don't know what I would do without them!

These things rock! (And carry rocks...) If you use a lot of 5 gal buckets in your garden, you should try one of these, and I predict that you will immediately have the urge to replace all of your hard plastic buckets with these things. They are softer, (makes them easier to carry) quieter (when you toss one into another), do not stick together (because they are flexible), easier on the hands when carrying them full of heavy things, less inclined to break or crack even in cold weather. God knows they are better looking, and due to the 'double handles' you can even fill them up with mulch and then have considerable control when dumping out the goods around areas between rocks. Heck, I suppose you could even fill them with ice at a BBQ and put cans and bottle of soda and beer in them; they sure would look a lot better than 5 gal. buckets! Yeah, I dig that they cost 3-5 x as much as a 5 gal. bucket, but it's a one time expense, as these things seem pretty much indestructible. Only application for which a 5 gal bucket could be superior would be if you need a lid - i.e. road salt or muriatic acid. Only warning, they come in a A LOT of different sizes, and everyone seems to use a different measure to describe this - gallons, liters, and dimensions, so be a bit careful, and/ or go to a website which shows all of them next to each other to be sure you get what you need.

These buckets are the best thing since sliced bread. Use them for years at the beach and the park, then use them for mixing concrete and plaster, etc. You’ll never spend 20 minutes cleaning out a bucket, again, as you can hit this one with a hammer a few times and scrub it quickly and it’s ready for the next use.

I had one of these genuine Tubtrugs many years ago and loved it. Somehow it ended up missing. When I saw this Tubtrug and at such a great price I had to order it. Used it last night with my Washing Wand and it was terrific. Don't confuse the tub wannabes with this genuine article. This is flexible yet strong. Unless someone steals this one it should last a lifetime.

I got this to replace an inflexible tub that cracked and broke. I carry this around the yard as I go around and pick up weeds, wash it out and then fill it with veggies from the garden. Anything that I need to carry around. I love that it is so flexible that you can pull the handles together and carry it one-handed also. I use it outside, but it can have many other uses as well. Kids toys, laundry, etc.
