Great Deal!
These scissors are perfect for a child who wants to do crafting or needs scissors for school. The package comes with two pairs, one had a neon pink handle, the other was bright blue. They feel comfortable and easy to control for small hands. They also cut very well and have no pointy ends. For less than three dollars I found these scissors to be a very good deal. Would buy again.

Just as advertised.
My order came with a green and a yellow pair of ambidextrous safety scissors. My son is a lefty so I wanted something that would work for him. There does seem to be a slight design preference for right handed users but it hasn't posed a problem for him yet. So far they have held up well for about 6 weeks of school use. It's nice to have the second pair for use at home or if the school pair needs to be replaced.

Our kid was relentlessly asking us to cut paper, but not anymore!
Our little one has been relentlessly bugging my wife and I for a pair of scissors over the last couple of weeks. The fact that she has been cutting tirelessly for the past day proves that Westcott was a wonderful choice. The scissors seem to be well made, especially for the price. She absolutely loves them, which is what matters most.

Safe and easy
The scissors are good to use though they stick a bit when you first pull them from the packaging. The blunt tips make them an excellent choice for children while the duality of the handle makes it easier for someone who is left-handed to use. I would definitely recommend these scissors for parents who have left-handed children. Being left-handed myself makes it hard enough to write, arts and crafts and school projects shouldn't be harder as well.

Good for beginners
Great second step scissors for little hands. I started with plastic safety scissors, to practice grip and just show my 1yo son what it would be like to use real scissors. They did not cut much but they served their intended purpose. These dont cut much more than those without help. If i hold the paper taught he can cut independently but has no way of cutting with these if he only holds the paper with one hand and the scissors with the other. Still he likes them very much and we use them ( with support) often. We will likely keep these for a year before graduating to a more serious pair of actually sharp (as in the blades not the tips) scissors

Cut smoothly. Perfect for little lefties.
Well worth the extra price. Cut easily and smoothly. Truly can be used by lefties. Great for beginning cutters, no frustration with junky scissors that are difficult to use and don't cut cleanly. These are SHARP enough and cut well so use supervision with younger ones.

They really help left handers get the feel for making the letters better.

Perfect for my 4 year old
Great value. My son has a no trouble gripping these and I love that he can be independent while using these.

easy for little hands to hold
I got these because my daughter was using scissors at school and came home wanting to use the big grown up scissors. The blades are sharp so they cut well and you need to supervise your kids so they don't cut their fingers (or hair!) but the edges are nice and round so they can't stab themselves. The handle is a good shape. These are really quality kid scissors.
