It did a great job but I wish I knew I needed an extra pen while I was purchasing this so I could’ve purchased at the same time. If you read the instructions it’ll tell you which pen they’re talking about using and only if you need it. Other than that it was easy to use quick to use and cheap! I recommend

I bought this scratch remover the other day because my brother's dog got on the hood of my car and scratched the heck out of it. I was so mad at him...I was at a loss for words. I didn't know what to do. So I got on Amazon and looked at scratch removers. I looked at this one and it didn't break the bank as far as prices went so I bought it. Not everything you see on TV works. I was skeptical at first but I used it and it took the scratches that the dog made right out. Also, when I bought my car from my aunt the day before I bought it a shingle came off the roof and scratched the left side of the car. I took the scratch right out of that and that scratch has been there for over 2 years. There were some minor scratches on the side where I put my key in the car to unlock it and those came right out. On the trunk there was a bad scratch from a suitcase and that came right out also. It took hardly any elbow grease and these scratches, anywhere from mild to harsh came RIGHT out. I'd definitely recommend this product to anybody as it's great, it works, and it doesn't break the bank while you're at it! Five stars!

This stuff is amazing!! I know it's probably just simple rubbing and polishing compound. However, they have packaged it in such a way that even the simplest people should be able to figure it out. Anybody that gives the product a bad review simply didn't follow the instructions. It takes a large amount of rubbing and HARD pressure to soften the clearcoat enough to fill the scratch. But IT WORKS! Saved me from having to repaint entire motorcycle after my 2 year old had taken a sanding sponge to it with the intention of helping Dad wash/clean his motorcycle.

If you are realistic with your expectations this product works very well. It comes with very detailed instructions on how to determine how far the scratch has gone through the layers of paint. This allows you to understand why the product will or will not work for you. For scratches that are confined to the clear coat layer this product works great. I applied by hand and scratches are gone. If you are expecting this to get rid of scratches that have gone down to the metal then you are not being realistic. You will need touch up paint for that.

This stuff really works great product. I was very skeptical because of how bad the scratch was on my truck. My wife hit the electrical box exiting our driveway. Needless to say I had a deep grey streak running halfway down the bed of my brand new truck. The body shop wanted $450 to fix it. I bought quix and 45min later it looks good as new. On a side note for deep scratches make sure you buy the filler pen. I really didn’t think this was going to work I am shocked at the results.

I have a black car. Did that get your attention?? I have an '03 VW Jetta and while my car has always shined up pretty well, every time I take it to the stealership I know there's going to be some fine scratches somewhere the mechanics were working at. I hate it when I look at my car in the sun because I always notice that stuff. So last year I read a lot of reviews on scratch removal, tried a bunch of expensive things, and nothing seem to work on those pesky fine scratches. For those of you who know, anytime you even look at a black car you're going to get fine scratch somewhere because of it. So I read this article about Quixx and thought "It couldn't hurt." So I bought it and it sat in my basement for a while because I had really bigtime doubts. Today I had to do a couple things to my car and figured I would finally give Quixx a shot. So I found a tiny scratch, followed the instructions and "POOF!" the scratch was gone. No fine white line remaining, no nothing. I figured I would give it a shot on a larger, more noticable scratch and "POOF!" that one was gone. THEN I took a flashlight and followed up over the spots I used Quixx on and STILL did not see anything. I am now a believer. Since car paint is a "poly" I'm guessing it manipulates the paint to close the gap where the scratch is. I read a lot of reviews on here where people said it messed up thier paint. Again I am guessing they had older paint and would not reccommend using it on an older paint job. My only suggestion is to follow up with your own polish afterwards. That polish cloth they give you scared me a little bit and while it did shine up, my polish and cloth works better for that. I am actually looking foward to going back over my entire car with the stuff, I highly recommend it!

I've seen all kinds of reviews on this product. I had a few shallow scratches on my car's hood that needed to be removed so I thought I would give it a try. I rubbed on the Part 1 "Polish" paste per the directed method for maybe two minutes, then wiped with a dry microfiber cloth. Then I applied the Part 2 "Finish" paste per directions and let it dry. After buffing the area by hand with another new clean microfiber cloth, the scratches were 100% gone. These scratches were into, but not through, the clear coat, so I believe this is why it worked so well. My guess is that if the scratches had made it through the clear coat and into the base coat, it would have required much more work including applying some clear coat as well. Nice product though and glad I ordered it.

I bought this very specifically to try to fix about 50 scratches on both sides of my wife's car. My toddler "redecorated" with a tree branch. The cuts did not hit bare metal and probably missed the colored layer or at least most of it, but they were everywhere, maybe 20 linear feet of scratches. I washed the car with a garden hose and paper towels and let it dry. Then I followed the directions (I suspect it's important for all possible uses of the kit). I used the included cloth and pressed hard with a small amount of the first polish, one stroke along the scratch to spread the stuff around, and then worked my way nearly perpendicular to the scratch. I didn't know how long it might take to dry, so I limited myself to about 18 inches at a time for the longer scratches. I pressed hard and stopped rubbing when I could no longer see the scratch. Then a light wipe with a damp paper towel until I could see little or none of the polish left. Let dampness dry (a few minutes was all and I had other spots to work on so I rotated). Then I used the second polish, always in very small amounts, first smearing it over where I guessed the scratches had been (they can't be seen a this point), and then buffing with the second included cloth in small circles until it looked shiny instead of cloudy. Since I fixed a few incidental rock scratches and one that looked like a very weak scratch from a parking lot, it actually looked better than before it was attacked. The cloths are kind of destroyed but there's plenty of the polish itself left.

I’m floored by how well this works! I nervously bought this after no longer being able to find my go-to Turtle Wax scratch removing kit. This is amazing! I’ve had many scratches from careless neighbors at my apartment community and without even sanding, this stuff took away ALL my scratches. Even ones I tried to get out but didn’t fully remove with the turtle wax from at least a year ago. Just follow the direction to the T and it will Work for you! I’ll be be buying more!

I purchased because Consumer Reports loved it, and I agree with them. High quality product with everything you need to wet-sand down scratches, then bring area back to showroom shine with 2-stage polish & cloth. If your scratches are really deep into your clear coat you'll have to fill with more clear (not included) before sanding, which I wasn't brave enough to do. Just be careful not to sand down too far. You won't know you've gone too far until it's too late. Sand conservatively. Instructions included are very good, very clear. Follow them.
